In the deposition he knew that Luis was referring to himself. So he didn’t say anything to Luis about the movie so he doesn’t feel bad, nor cause he didn’t remember.
Fun fact: at 4:28, they display a SONY DCR-PC3E. A camera that came out in 1999. And here they still use it in in the mid 2010s. I still got one and it works perfectly. The prop department of this show is gold!
@@MrRemi1992 He wasnt listening or heard anything. Louis did what he does the best and that assume.. He saw Harvey and Mike shaking hands and hi-fiving so he tossed the cake. Just like when he asked Alex to lunch because he had a cat too. But later Alex had to cancel lunch because he had to court with Harvey and all Louis saw was Alex and Harvey getting into the elevator laughing, he assumed Alex was ditching him for Harvey when in reality Alex really couldnt because he had to go to work with Harvey. I Love Louis, but he has a huge problem with assuming and then blowing up before actully finding out whats actually going on.
7:53 That's a VERY political yet sincere way of saying I am sorry. He could have apologized to Mike but both him and Mike know that a boss can't apologize to his junior, makes him look weak, but Mike understands it and that's what matters.
Excuse me? Nothing makes a boss seem more respectable than owning his mistakes. I had one parent who would force me to say sorry but could also say it. The other one said sorry _once_ in my entire life. Guess which one was the stronger one, with more authority?
Every now and again in an episode, Luis will say “our actions have consequences” stems from the aftermath of his first ever case with Mike. It is cool that’s a detail they leave in the show to display how much Mike impacted him.
I’ve watched it twice with my hubby. And every time we start it, my hubby gets *addicted!* I can only take so much drama before I have nightmares. (And that’s with any show.) 😮💨 So, I’ll wanna watch something else for a little bit. But, he’ll say *”WE’RE AT THE BEST PART!!! WE CAN’T STOP NOW!!!”* lol
hello @himanshunyati9705. I am not 100% sure I understand what you're asking but I'll take a stab at it. Louis says: "You want to remember the marijuana and tennis thing, well I'm going to remember things too." this is a call back to an earlier episode when Louis wanted a wealthy young client from the tennis club he attends. The thing is... this guy didn't like him. This guy was into fantasy football, and drugs. Mike was 'the kind of guy' Louis thought this potential client would hit it off with, to the point that he leveraged Mike into doing drugs with this client to gain his trust and friendship and bring him onboard. In that episode, the young man tells Mike: "I want a shark on my side when it comes to my lawyer. He might not be someone I'd ever be friends with, but I've got to grow up and take the legal aspects of my business seriously." Mike responds by telling him: "I think I've got a better idea." And the episode ends with Mike explaining to Louis that he convinced the young man to go with Mike and Harvey instead of Louis, costing Louis the client. Storywise, this was an episode where Louis was attempting to put Mike in his place, to leverage and blackmail Mike into doing drugs with a potential client that Louis wanted to land. Mike was in a tough spot because if he refused to do what Louis wanted, he'd be disobeying the chain of authority. Similarly, Louis shouldn't have been putting Mike in that position, but he did anyway. Mike found a way to obey Louis, but at the same time 'stick it to Louis' by stealing the client out from under him and bringing him to Harvey. This is why Louis says: "But it didn't work, you defeated me. So we're cool, right? Water under the bridge." Personally, I believe in terms of writing, the reason Louis brings up the 'Marijuana and Tennis' thing again is that Louis knows that's the 1 thing he couldn't really defend putting Mike through initially. Mike has had instances of Louis doing things to him, but Louis feels it's in response to Mike disrespecting him. - Mike was in the wrong place at the wrong time, with co-workers using his computer to look at a video of Louis getting humiliated by a date that went wrong. Louis saw Mike laughing about it and felt Mike was making fun of him.
With the added character depth of Louis in later seasons, I really feel he would have apologized to Mike on the spot. He is big on Apologizing and forgiveness.
After I watch this series, I think I made a big mistake not going to law school, but studying engineering instead. Back in the day, I thought I was cool and tough becoming an engineer, hard working and tanned skin. Now I know a lawyer can empty someone's bank account using a pen 😂😂
"Things" is the scariest word in that conversation 😂
"It's been a long time since I've seen it, great flick though." - Guy with perfect recall.

@willh69 yes, that's the joke, that he told an obvious lie.

I do!!
My favorite character on the show.
Facts. I mean during the deposition at 4:30 he thanks “Michael” when he gives him that folder lol. Such a small thing but it’s like aw he can be nice

Yea that was brutal. Louis was so close then did a 180 after listening it was so sad 😢
That wasn’t this one. That was the case of steakhouse after Mike betrayed Harvey

“Poor man’s Lex Luthor” makes sense if you consider Harvey is Superman
That was obviously what they were going for
