Nice review! I have one too and love it! Did you replace the turbos with genuine OEM BMW? Is the car mapped? Also what H8 bulbs are you using? Your D1S HID bulbs look brighter than originals too!
Hi Mevin, thank you! I had the original turbos fully rebuilt by I.T.S. Turbos near Bradford but unfortunately the weld failed on the front actuator arm and I then had them set up properly at PMP cars in Coventry after that. The car is completely standard other than the wheels as far as I’m aware although the 0-60 appeared to be 5.6-5.7s rather than the 5.9s they’re stated as having. The H8 bulbs are Neolux and the D1S are Philips XenStart. I tried some LED H8 bulbs but they were too blue and the LEDs were directional so they didn’t illuminate the Halos properly.
Hadn’t noticed that but wouldn’t be surprised if that heat is actually coming from the exhaust. An unbelievable amount of heat comes from there within 5 mins of running. You can feel it when you put your leg out of the drivers door.
Dude, is that an aftermarket mufflers ir is it a Cat delete ? Sounds nice and decent.
As far as I knew it was all standard on this car. It passed a genuine MOT no problem.

I have a loud ticking on the airbox side of engine...
Could be high pressure fuel pump?
Thanks! very to the point :)
Always find the transmission tunnel gets hot next to the drivers leg due to how the heat gets sent to the rear vents.
