Something that we started was exporting out each of the clips in our assembly as a content library for our clients so they are able to repurpose the content that we got for them as individual clips as well. Has really stepped up the value we can provide for our clients! Love that you dove into the strategy and gave us actual sales and follow through examples on how people can use these strategies to get new clients!
Love it! We do that as well, I don't think I specifically mentioned it though. At the end of the day, you want your clients using your content. Great way to do it.
How would you charge clips for their library? And do you find that their editing is doing your work justice? Do find that you get less or more work from such a client, I mean you give away clips that you could have charged them for you doing the repurpose of the editing?
Honestly one of the best videos for growing a small to medium sized videography business. Creating the packages is intimidating and too many, including myself, rely on client to bring exactly what they are looking for, very rarely happens, and when it does, it is always less than ideal. Cheers!
I really like thatyou explain how you come in with a plan for clients so you begin with immediately offering value without wasting their time. I feel like too often understanding your clients problems and showing them you have a plan that helps them is lost behind the “look how cool my reel looks” aspect. All the great shots in the world are meaningless if you can’t show your decision maker you are bringing them a revenue generator instead of another cost in their budget.
As a lifetime golfer, who played in HS and Community College. Unless Jones sells black golf balls, I'd stick with ONE color golf ball throughout the whole video. The back and forth between white and black golf ball really threw this video off for me and probably lots of golfers. Ideally just stick with a white golf ball. Sick content and great advice as always. love the channel and video
Didnt think I’d see you guys put out a golf shoot video! I’ve watched you guys when I was getting started in videography and editing. The footage looks SO clean here 👊
this is that kind of content i love the most. you learn a lot in 11 minutes, and get a masterpiece of videography on top. crazy to see what is possible with that camera in the right hands! seeing the results is just cool! best regards from austria
Very, very good video. Lots of information and well put together. One of the best videos I've watched in a very long time on Full Time Filmmaker. Thanks a lot for sharing this content with us.
Great video, ive just took on the same retainer with a golf club (albeit filming with the s1h).. everything im doing replicates with the advice youre giving
Jesus christ. I was not expexting a great tip for someone starting a business, to understand what your focus is. Pick your ideal customer, and create a package that solves all their problems. Beautiful. Reverse engineering!
wow. tons of value in this video. Welcome. have not seen you on this channel, well, at least this is the first time I am seeing a video in a long long time. glad to see some Lumix S5ii X love. We just dumped our Sonys for the S5 ii and S5ii x earlier this year. love the open gate 6k.
Good Job Landon ! Really like what you did with this video. A good mix of showing what a product can do but with education in mind. It’s really well balanced ! Can’t wait for future content
Thanks a lot for this great video Landon. I've taken notes of a lot of informations !! As an FTF member, could you share the gearlist used please ? here or in FTF ? This hybrid setup could be very interesting for me as I do 60% video and 40% photo. Thanks a lot 🙏
So how long did this take you to complete from start to finish? Like a week straight of content filming for shots and photos and a couple of weeks for editing?
you guys should do beginner with the best modern digital camera, vs a pro with a vintage film camera, im talking pre 70s vintage, both B&W and in color, lol
Thanks for the Insight! What do you do if your client doesn't see much result in their video ads and think that its based on your video product? I see many clients struggling to make the video provided really work in their ads game. They just post it and hope to work. Do you sometimes do the Ads for them or provide them with tips for social media to really make use of the videos?
Awesome ! I would like to see a well timed Drone shot were the drone passes over golfer in high speed following the trajectory of the ball…I wonder, can it be done?
Question: When you are creating your packages what do you define as long form videos vs short form videos in terms of time? For example, is anything over 60 seconds considered long form videos? Thanks.
Love the video! Curious, did you pull the photos out of the 6K videos or is it actual photos? Currently an all Sony user but i've been eyeballing Lumix open gate feature for so long now, wishing that Sony will come out with it someday.
@@fulltimefilmmaker awesome! Thanks for the reply. I haven't offered photos but should look into that as an option, especially with client work like that.
Was taylor an paid actor, a friend of yours or someone who worked for the brand? Also, was the brand videos voice over something you hired someone else to do? I a lot of great stuff in this I currently have 1 retainer been working on building more. Thanks for the video.
You’ll notice we added “5 Steps to Landing High-Paying Video Clients” throughout this video! Let us know if you like this format 👊🏼

Landon, what photo settings did you use when snapping the stills on this shoot?
Good Job Landon ! Really like what you did with this video. A good mix of showing what a product can do but with education in mind. It’s really well balanced ! Can’t wait for future content

Damn the footage from the S5iiX looks incredible
Love it Landon! Very useful. Best of Luck with the takeover of FTF 👊
I didn't realize golf brands would spend $120k/yr in digital assets. Sweet deal! As an avid golfer, I would love to do that for my local courses. 😮
Did you just shoot this for them? I don't see the content anywhere on their website, socials or ads? How soon will they use it?
Huge value in this video! Much appreciated!
Maaaan that 6k quality is insane !!
This video was amazing! you should make more videos like this.

So how long did this take you to complete from start to finish? Like a week straight of content filming for shots and photos and a couple of weeks for editing?
Thanks for the insight.
Value information that I needed today. Thanks so much!

Ngl but your videos are entertaining af Landon

Any moire issues you’ve had with the s5iix? If so how did you overcome?
I really love to do a video like this with my S5 MARK 2X. Which lens and filters are used for this output?
lumix ❤
Great content.. bit of a sound issue at the very beginning with the audio suddenly being much louder than it is in the rest of the video.
Nice! For my personal taste to many cuts

how are you editing the music like that it sounds so dope ?
@fulltimefilmmaker what SSD clamp/holder did you use on your hotshoe??
What is that attachment used to mount the ssd to the lumix?

❓When creating your monthly packages, what percentage of the client investment includes exposure to FTF social media network?
So did you just grab stills from the video for the 50 photos?
We shot photos simultaneously! Switching between video and photo mode.
@@fulltimefilmmaker awesome! Thanks for the reply. I haven't offered photos but should look into that as an option, especially with client work like that.
