If you've been rolling with the Souls series since the beginning it's always the same: You have to play the game on the games terms. When you do that then you find it is you who is leveling up. Good on you for hanging tough and pushing through. These games are difficult, but they are fair (most of the time) and Elden Ring is the most accessible game out of them all with the ability to run around almost everywhere from the start of the game, gather gear, upgrade, understand/improve your mechanics, and then bring them to their knees.
I do agree with this. Which is why I play souls games and I love them.

I never beat punch out but I was very young when I played it
@@NIXNE when I was like 10 I could get to Soda Popinsky now and again but to this day never beat Tyson lol games these days are just easier. Never could beat Soul Reaver, Ghosts n Goblins, DMC2 (probably because it was trash) but I did beat ninja gaiden and that was the hardest game for child to even attempt. That’s why I appreciate souls games they kept that challenge factor in as a core element. Where nowadays there’s always an easy mode, and some don’t even have a hard mode just normal and “story”.
You have such nice hair that it would never submit to being pulled out. The lighting though on a phone at first look made it look like the game turned you gray.
My video is shot on my iPhone 13 Pro Max so I get a bit washed out due to low mood lighting (intentional on low lighting). I do have some grays though.

@@shinsoatimakuit’s been nerfed. I only won because I had a massive shield that negates 100% physical damage and I also had the braid which negates holy damage.

I tried playing a Fromsoft game once. Well, I tried playing it. After 2 hours of constant deaths I gave up on it. Figuring out how to get past enemies wasn't filling me with a sense of accomplishment. It made me wonder why I was going out of my way to torture myself. I get a sense of accomplishment when I complete a game. That's good enough for me.
I respect that. It’s an acquired taste forsure.
@NIXNE I still make attempts at Code Vein because I love the aesthetic, and I don't want to have wasted that money. But it's also not worth the increased blood pressure to "git gud." I respect anyone who not only plays those games but love them.
On the other hand, I beat the first 3 Contra games, the NES Ninja Gaiden Trilogy and Battletoads. If you know what those are, then you know I didn't use to shy away from difficult games. I'm just older now, have less free time and, since I don't have online friends, nothing to prove. Not a dig at anyone, it's just where my head is at.
Full disclosure: While I have beaten Bsttletoads I have never beaten the first NES Ninja Turtles game. F@$k that water level!
I stress how much I absolutely love Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth and yet the Chadley simulator battles were every bit as brutal as their names suggest, and they also had me wanting to give up. I do enjoy challenges, but I also want to enjoy a game and have fun. I don't know why studios are going this path of having such limited solution difficulties, but I don't like it. I certainly have determined that I will never play FromSoftware games. They're not for me.
I completely respect that. It’s really not for everyone and I was one of the people who did not like them way back.
Im still playing it im,lvl 502 and i beat messmer,first time and used no shards… it is hard and i will say i,think level kinda does matter,i cant imagine going in this dlc lvl 150… no sir

After beating Bloodborne, I will never subject myself to another FromSoftware game. Too frustrating… Not for me… Screaming at my TV after countless defeats is not fun (for me).
It’s tough to endure this all forsure. I literally have to mentally prepare myself anytime I play one of these games.
@@NIXNE I was continuing out of pure stubborn pride, but I was thankful it was over. I avoid anything resembling that experience from now on. Haha…
I don't know if you started with bloodborne, but it's one of the harder souls games. I would really recommend giving Dark Souls 3 a try
@@viewtifulJoeA I’m pretty casual with difficulty. Bloodborne was WAY more than I bargained for, so even a less difficult Souls game is likely still more ball-crushing than I’m willing to dive into. FromSoftware games are all pretty intense for me. I proved to myself I can do it, but it wasn’t pretty. My dogs were stressed out from my repeated outbursts. I damn near peed my pants in my own house because of the lack of a pause button. Haha…
@@beebop7039 I play pretty much anything other than FromSoftware games. If that makes you better than me, I’m going to have to just live with that. I’ll manage. Also, I’ve been around the sun many times. I rarely engage in social media, have a wife and a family, and a career that consumes much more time than video games. I’m happy and hope you are as well. Not much else matters.
The last boss phase 2 is a insult to players , still stucked for 3 days .
Inconsistent AOE , cannot dodge his time echo attacks and always touch me .
I used a shield and got the braid to negate holy attacks.
@@NIXNE yes but WE should be able to beat him with no shield either .
Honestly, some of his attack especially his echo téléportation are inconsistent. Saw many who did no hit run and when they do it it work just fine.
i already beat the dlc, although i feel elden ring its a little easier than dark souls. The first time i played dark souls it took me a week to just get out of the training area lol
Demons souls was my first. It beat me so bad I didn’t return till the remake lol
