This is just one of those songs where you don't realize it at first, but right around when Spencer hits that crazy high note in the middle, it settles on you that this song , and quite frankly this band, is just special

I love seeing people's faces when Spencer hits them high notes, the guy is an animal. Gonna drop a request for Marigold and/or Psychosphere off their Live in London album. You'll like what Spencer does, I promise😂

Knew you'd love it, and super glad that you did. It's not the most technical song Periphery have done, or the heaviest, but for me it is the most emotional. And Spencer just goes OFF

Oh it's still very technical in some sections.
Spencer is my favorite metal vocalist. He can do so many things and sounds great live.
One of those all time great songs, Spencer's vocals and the concept of the lyrics hit you in the feels so hard
Periphery - Absolomb remains IMO his best vocal performance, or at least my favourite, as well as my favourite song by them

Dont know if you know or not, but Spencer from Periphery has his own solo project (i think thats what it is but the drummer is Matt Halpern from Periphery). King Mothership is the name of the band, highly recommend giving it a listen if you enjoy his vocals.
