spent an hour redoing the fight and making sure i followed your directions perfectly, but i never realized u actually had to equip the passives, i thought putting a page in would automatically make you use them.. i equipped them and ended up killing her in scene 3 with no staggers and every librarian alive...
Hey man, mind if I ask what each of the cards are supposed to do? Like it would've been nice to know why you went with certain cards over others when clashing.
Certainly, for the ranged pages (that is all except arcana beats and the mass attack) your Oscars Shocking Blow is the best, transpierce is also good, and in a pinch, Sayos Rules of the Backstreets or Clean Up enhanced with a Sharpenee Blade will work the best. For the 1st Arcana Beats use Dark Cloud because the blunt will get eaten, while the slash free hits for extra bleed. Otherwise you can typically use either Dark Cloud, Shocking Blow, Transpierce, or just ignore it. For the mass attack your Oscar should use Structural Analysis and your Sayos should use double Sharpened Blade. When free hitting, use your light regen and page draw as you see fit, understanding that running out of light is a death sentence.
still nothing works... i just dont understand how this strategy works, especially with the emotion cards, and sometimes not having the cards so i just restart the fight, and my bad speed luck
The main idea of the strategy is to bleed the queen out with your 2 sayo while clashing with your oscar. Since the queens attacks are ranged (except arcana beats), we can use single die pages to clash effectively. Ideally, your scene 1 should look exactly like mine almost every time and you should be looking to kill her on scene 4 or 5.

If you're not doing enough damage it might be from your bleed application. On the first scene, you should be inflicting more than 20 bleed. Also make sure that one of your Sayo pages is getting marked rather than your Oscar. You shouldn't really lose clashes so if your librarians are getting staggered try and find what attacks are getting through. Finally, for the mass attack, make sure youre using the right pages to counter it. That's all the generic advice I can give, if you're still struggling I guess you could record your pov and send it to me(?)

@@AilithNix Took me a few tries but I got it! turns out I wasn't paying attention to emotion levels, meaning my turn 2/3 still had people at 3 light, so no damage. Just figured it out and managed to still kill her with one stunned Sayo turn 4! Thanks for the guide :D
When the queen attacks a marked character, she'll lose Hysteria. As long as she's always attacking the marked target with at least 1 page she shouldn't transform. If you're having issues still you could do 2 attacks onto the marked target, or intentionally lose clashes to lower Hysteria.

Yeah, the passives definitely make or break this fight, so not having them ruins the strat, glad you got there in the end though!

I followed everything, and it didnt work. I just ended up losing. I wanna get back the time i wasted :(
What's causing you to lose? I was able to do the fight 5+ times in a row without losing once

Hello, I have a question in regards to the passives.
How do you get that 3rd Battle Ready of Oscar's Page when you only get the 2 from the Sayo pages?
You can get 3 sayos pages. You need to either reset rewards or exhaust the rewards pool.
