This voice changer plugin is so simple to use and can make you sound like anything from a robot to aliens, epic movie tralier voice to little garden elf. It's the Accusonus Voice Changer which will work with popular audio editors like Audacity and Adobe Audition. It also has the potential to work in real time, on a live stream, with software like OBS Studio.

I can't imagine using some of these voices in an actual project, but with a little tweeking some of them are actually quite good. You can get many of these effects by playing around, but this absolutely expodites the process. I do wish you could get the reverse reverb a tiny bit longer on that ghost though. I do like some of the environmental effects too. I imagine these would be useful for more than just voice.
when you're a weird indie/hyperpop artist, you can imagine these voices in a MILLION things. this plugin is like heaven for us.

I was so pumped to try out this plugin after watching your video, too bad it's not available anymore! I went to the Waves link you recommended in the links but don't see which plugin is closest in features to the one in the video. Is there a particular one that you recommend? Or is there another place to look?
I’d recommend OVox from Waves of Vocal Synth from iZotope as good alternatives.

I’m sure the developer will get back to you. Make sure you’re using the latest version of Audition and follow all the installation instructions.

Is anyone able to get this to work with an M1 Mac running Audacity?
While Audition works with M1 now the same can’t be said of all plugins. I’ve seen other people ask about plugins not working in Audition on an M1 chip so maybe the same happens in Audacity.

How tv shows change actor voice completely? They dont dubbed becz i focus on their lips.
They would use a number of destructive filters on the audio to disguise the voice.

I think this is literally what they used for the FNAF Security Breach voices lmao, a lot of the effects sound _very_ similar. Some other games too, possibly Bain from Payday with the radio fx.
seems a little pricey for subscription model for about $60 a year when it probably wont be used everyday, or every week for that matter. A little high for my liking. You used to be able to buy it outright for this price. Seems like most software companies are getting a little greedy at this point. Not necessary.
I agree, though for people who don't have a ton of cash you actually get a whole lot with this subscription. You get all there royalty free music and soundss - the latter of which aren't super great yet, but which are growing - plus all there audio clean-up and polishing plugins which really are pretty good. Voice Leveler alone is super helpful. I've also had pretty decent experiences with their support, which is more than I can say for some of these companies. No I'm not an Accusonus affiliate, But I have used their plugins for a while now and, especially if you aren't super technical or are on a time crunch, they do seem to be worth it.

@@funfilm77 That's actually a good thing. If you've already got assets which do all this better, or if you're knowledgeable enough to not need them much, you're actually in a great position.
@@LoneWolfAudio0524 I have some that do almost the same thing, but i really like the Accusonus stuff, just a little high for the amount someone would use it. It's not like an editing program or noise remover which most editors will use fairly often. This is a good product, just to much $$ for a small amount of usage. That just me though, maybe someone will use it more. I liked that it showed more of the features and not just the basic robot voice that was shown in the previous new release video they put out. If it was like $40 to own it outright, i would buy it, but not for $60 a year. :)
Agreed. Seems a bit meh also. Who is this aimed at? I already have a tonne of reverb plug-ins, so that's a third of this thing I don't need instantly. The blatant sales style here is so cringey.

Hi sir I have doubt audition can run smoothly with 8GB ram,2GB graphic card,I3 processor
This meets the minimum specifications. It may not be rapid with your specs but it should work.

Audition will run on any computer at or above minimum specifications but as with everything the higher specifications in your computer the more efficiently it will run.

Do these effects apply in real time when your gaming?
For real time effects you'd be better using a hardware solution. A software solution could work but would likely introduce latency as well as needing some clever sound routing within the computer.

google voice mod it can change it live and it gives you the ability to have it as an output device so you can integrate it into streaming software

The biggest issue I have with EVERY voice changer video is that EVERY voice they demo has echo added.
God voice, alien voice, robot voice, great hall voice, giant AI, etc.
How about something more difficult, but simple: Male to female, adult to child (without sounding like a simple pitch change or helium intake)?
Are there any that can make Captain Pichard sound like Kirk? Or Make Jame Earl Jones sound like Meralin Monroe, or make Joe Rogan sound like a lady from The View?
I totally understand your frustration! In an upcoming video, I'll showcase voice changers that tackle more nuanced transformations like male to female or adult to child without resorting to simple pitch changes. AI speech to speech can do this easily now.

Just select your input device under audio hardware preferences.

Obviously the choice of operating system is entirely yours but I'd encourage you to think of upgrading as Wnidows 7 is now 20 months past end of support.
Audio hardware preferences is within the Adobe Audition application, under the edit menu.

You will need a voiceover of the appropriate sex to get either a male or female voice.

Mike Russell the Audition god is an addon and uses none =) In my opinion the plugin is redundant.... Audition has the same effects and much more variations. I would really appreciate a tutorial on how to make better use of Adobe Audition's effects to generate different voices. When I sync different characters in a video I want to hear a distinct difference yet it still needs to be a natural voice. Of course you can change the voice or pitch it a little bit, maybe change the speed , but then the variations stop... I have a somewhat rough voice, how do I get the scratchy out of one ?

It's a subscription based plugin
yeah, the entire subscription model is bunk, unless you want to be an indentured servant and pay 40 grand for a 5 dollar piece of software. only exception being heavy software packages for serious freelancers who have a specialize job. paying 80 bucks for a months usage for a 6,000 dollar piece of software is great.

Adobe CS6 holdout here. Warned many about the software subscription / rental model at the time and yet for some it was only a couple of years later when they started lamenting that they'd paid enough in subs to own the software yet still don't have their copy of it if they stop paying. Some people only learn the hard way.

garbage plugin I tried to use it following your instructions but it wants me to buy a $266 suite couldn't even try it out. Don't waste your time. You should check who you endorse
At no point in time did I say this is free. I said this is available as a free trial which it is. If you wish to continue using beyond the trial then you have to purchase the plugin.

If you're looking for high quality in real time I would suggest using Cleanfeed instead of Skype/Zoom/Teams 👍
