Forget coaching. I'd love to take history courses from Leach. He's fascinating.
Rest in peace coach. We are all gonna miss you.
💔 TT alum... R.I.P. Mike!
This was a great interview with a coaching legend. It seems so surreal to look back at this wonderful interview with Coach Leach and now he is gone from us He left us far too early. My heart is so heavy today. I'm so grateful that we had the opportunity to see him coach Mississippi State football. His legacy will ALWAYS cast itself over Davis Wade Stadium. He watching over us you know.... His spirit will forever dwell over the Mississippi State football program. God bless you Coach. Thank you for making everyone around you a better person.
Bama grad from Texas that has known the quality of this dude for nearly 30 years. State is so lucky to have this dude. I love him
Gonna miss him
The people of Mississippi are lucky to have Coach Leach. He's simply the best. I've been following him for years.
Love leach an his many accomplishments. He amazed me at Texas tech an how the kids really wanted to play for him. God bless u
Thanks. Sad and worried today.
Me and my dads first night in Yellowstone a main road was closed so we had to circle out and stay 2 nights in Cody. I’ve been to Mexico and the Bahamas, destin Florida yearly, Gatlinburg yearly, many more places included Yellowstone twice and by far Cody is my favorite town and place ever.
@ 1:24:18 Mike is asked; "How does Mike Leach want to be remembered"
Even a year + ago Mike was constantly clearing his throat...Indication of congestive heart failure with the liquid building up.
I noticed that . In some post game interviews this season, he would have throat clearing fits . I thought he needs to get this checked out ...RIP mike leach...
There are heart meds that cause some to experience frequent mild coughing. Some disguise the coughs by clearing throat, etc.
Great interview into the coach and man. I was in Cody, Wyoming this summer and had no idea the coach went to high school there. Beautiful country and planning to go back. Thanks for posting!
Miss him already
Coach Leach is one of the most interesting characters in college football. It must be an amazing experience to play for this coach. The college game needs more like him.
He's charismatic, innovator of the passing game.
I hope he has great success at Mississippi State.
Even after his passing, he still helps me in life!
Great show
R.I.P. Mr. Leach. This world was a better place with you in it. Miss you already man!
RIP
It makes me so sad to know I'll never get to meet him. It would have been awesome to have had a beer with Coach.
Of all the videos, books, etc. that I've read and watched of Mike Leach he was a very bright man and good coach. "the average guy with great abilities" Rest in peace Mike Leach.
Mr.Scarborough thank you for this..I loved Coach Leach. He will be missed. They don’t make men like him anymore. Also, Tell Chris Bragg I said Hail State and Eat Dirt Purl 😂
RIP COACH LEACH
BYU at his time was loaded with athletic ability . Their throwers were recruited across the globe , basketball teams and the age factor with missionaries.
I’m a MSSTATE graduate. I am part of a Bulldog family and I have followed Bulldogs for 65 years. This guy has to be the most interesting guy coaching today. I can’t imagine anybody who wouldn’t love to play for him. It’s great to have a leader that is multifaceted and independent. I’m curious to see where he takes the AirRaid offense this year. He will stay on the cutting edge of football strategy. He has morphed the offense to include inside runs and misdirection plays.
Dude was and still is a national treasure. Miss him already!
Lol....tech grad here....enjoy
