Santa's Land - Forgotten by the Roadside

Santa's Land is a roadside tourist attraction located off Highway 19 in Cherokee, North Carolina. This small fun park/zoo has certainly seen its better days, but it is definitely a unique stop; you can see an old fashioned magic show, feed some deer, ride the Rudolph themed coaster, and even meet Santa himself.
Disclaimer: we were a bit concerned about the suitability of some of the enclosures for the animals, particularly the cat who seemed distressed every time the train passed its enclosure.

Loved going here as a little kid, just sad seeing it run down when we visited.

@@Roamingwiththerichards Part of the issue is the main guy who did the painting retired. He was also the only guy who knew how to use the billboard making machine which was basically a third of their income alone.
