Looks like they fixed it up since your last visit. My wife was just asking me where your daughter has been. Nice to see y’all sharing adventures again. Keep up the good work.
The original Santa's Land video is a stone-cold classic and, truth be told, a bit of a holiday tradition around this household, on par with Ralphie, Kevin, Emmet Otter, and the rest! Awesome to see you both back there 😀
I grew up going to Santa’s Land in Cherokee. It holds a special place in my heart! A few years ago I took my kids and they loved it! Can’t wait to come back!
I never could put my finger on it, but yeah, that's the difference. He just seems happier, because of course he would be! That's some solid Dad right there!
It’s charming hearing you two reflect on your past trip there when she was younger. Her almost throw away comment of “I can’t believe you get paid for this” when you went down the red tube slide was so funny!
Your daughter has grown up so much, she reminds me of myself at her age - and I can't stop myself from smiling. Me and my dad had an amazing friendship, and he was the one that started my collection, and so-called "Homeseum". He was the one that sparked my interest in History and the Uncanny, I miss him dearly, life has never been the same since 2008.
Last time I was here was around age 9 (26 now) so this is giving me some crazy nostalgia! It's really great to see it's still operating I hope to visit here at least once more in my lifetime
We used to go Santa’s Land every summer when I was little. Late60’s early 70’s. Thank you for the walk down memory lane. I have forgotten so much. I do have a pic of myself in the kangaroo pouch though.
The whole place looks better/cleaner since your last trip. Last time I was there was as a child probably 40 years ago but definitely looking forward to going back one more time.
I'm 41 and we used to go every summer when we were little. We'd go to Santa's Land or to Ghost Town in the Sky. Now my 19 year old daughter has been going with my parents since she was a baby. They just left today going up there to stay for a week. I wish I was little again, we always had so much fun!!
Love Santa Land! We took the kids there in the late 80s early 90s. Now the grandbabies go we love it. I'm old school so I like these little parks. I sure do love the Smoky Mountains. Love the video!!!
Hi Jacob & Anna! This video was great! What a great little place! So nostalgic! You have so many cool videos, they are so great to watch! Thank you again, Jacob! Stay safe & stay well!❤❤❤👍👍👍⛄⛄⛄
Happy to see Anna with you. Santa’s Land is great. The reindeer were so cute. Great seeing the other animals there. Special place to go. Love it. Thank you for bringing us along.
Thanks for the video it's nice seeing santa's land again. Last time I was there was in 1998, I worked there from 95 to 98 wearing elf suit. It was great fun. Now that I think of it where is the game room I didn't see it.
Oh my goodness, kids grow up so fast. It’s nice to see both of you in a video again. That Farris Wheel looked terrifying btw - love these vintage parks
@@conniecrawford5231 oh no I misspelled a word . Good on you for not missing an opportunity to present yourself as superior. Is that your kink? Did you get off real good ? Your welcome😉 theirs another one for ewe .
Thank You, Annabelle! Thank You, Jacob! Super entertaining vlog! I (always) really enjoy yall's Father/Daughter repartee! Bummed out that I could not help fund Anna's fast-food dinner needs! JTK
Wow Santa's land never been there thank you very much for having me along I'm from tucson arizona this is so much fun thanks for doing this video it gets me away from everything your awsome with your daughter I've never have seen your daughter till now it's nice to meet her shes beautiful thanks for having her along
Growing up every couple of years we would come here and ghost town went back couple years ago love that place 45 now been there had fun long live santas land
It’s kinda sad to see the park in somewhat disrepair like this. You can tell the areas that have some care and maintenance put into them and the areas that don’t. Though I’m very glad to see one of these Santa themed parks still open as they truly are a time capsule.
Good to see Anna with you again having as much fun as a teenager can have with her dad, serious Anna u need to make more trips with ur dad, you will be glad u did latter and we like to see your prospective on the different places
this theme park has been given a fresh bright look and boy does it show its magical again , the hamberger store displays are 150 % better they have been restored to pristine quality again and there displays are not dirty but delightful , my friend on face book restores these figures to beautiful factory pristine quality ,,, well done carpetbagger and the bairn we call kids in the uk well done santa land for the restoration amazing
I know what the big bunny rabbit is saying. That sneer says "You actually paid good money for this?" But seriously, this is the kind of place I loved going to when I was a little kid, and I'm glad to know there's still one around that hasn't gone to dust.
I love that they're still open, but I'm bummed that there's no more creepy black light elves. And that's probably like, less than 10% of the original amount of fish!
Santa's Land is pretty cool. Its a cute little park. What I like are all the animals. Keep up the great traveling, Mr. Carpet Bagger! You and The Wooman are my fav channels.
I like when your daughter comes along.
A few years ago she woulda beat her dad to get up candy mountain ( now she's at that age. Go do candy mountain alone dad. Poor jacob.
Finally i miss Anna
Looks like they fixed it up since your last visit. My wife was just asking me where your daughter has been. Nice to see y’all sharing adventures again. Keep up the good work.

“I literally can’t believe you get paid to do that”
Your daughter really just roasted you 😂😂
It was great to see Anna in the video! Thanks Jacob!

Love Santa's Land AND EMMIT OTTER!!!
It's awesome to hear someone else watches Carpetbagger videos annually! Also love love love Emmett Otter's Jugband Christmas! 🎄

Awww, I'm so glad Anna is there, I've missed her.
It’s awesome your daughter joins you . I miss seeing you together . You don’t seem so lonely
I never could put my finger on it, but yeah, that's the difference. He just seems happier, because of course he would be! That's some solid Dad right there!
Anna is so full of joy lol
It’s charming hearing you two reflect on your past trip there when she was younger. Her almost throw away comment of “I can’t believe you get paid for this” when you went down the red tube slide was so funny!
I remember going there in the early '70s...nice to know it's still around.
I saw “Santa” after the park closed when I was a kid. He was filling up his car with gas. I’m still scarred from that.
😂
Hey, give him a break, converting a car to run on reindeer power is costly, and it voids your warranty as well.
He's not the real one, but he does work for him. Did he give you some tic tacs?
LOL
This entire place is nightmare fuel...and I love it!
Your daughter has grown up so much, she reminds me of myself at her age - and I can't stop myself from smiling.

Thank you for being such an amazing dad. The world needs more people like you.

Those deer were adorable! Deer have always been one of my favorite animals. Would love the chance to feed some one day.
That bunny looked like something from your nightmares, apart from the scary bunny, this seems really nice place thank you Jacob and Anna x
🤣🤣🤣🤣
It’s nice to see that they’ve done some much needed maintenance.
So glad to see Anna again. It's been awhile. Hi Anna. Love plsces like this, thsnk you TCB1
Love santas land...been going since 1993..ironically its closed during December. The fall festival is awesome.
Anna, thank you for tagging along with your Dad-as a father, I know how fast time goes by, and you two will remember this always!
My grandfather is the founder of this park! So glad to see that people are still going!
I really enjoy watching you and your daughter together...you have such a great, fun relationship and it's nice to see.
The whole place looks better/cleaner since your last trip. Last time I was there was as a child probably 40 years ago but definitely looking forward to going back one more time.
I LOVE THAT PLACE! Go there at least twice a year!
So glad to meet your daughter. I'm happy that you had a friend to ride the ferris wheel with.
I love these old Santa’s Land places. Thank you for showing us this place and your daughter is beautiful
So good to see Anna!
If David Hamburger 🍔 created Santa's Helpers, does that make them Hamburger Helpers?
A+ comment 🤣
My grandfather built this park, he said yes
Like Fredrick Zoller at the Battle of... whatever, you saw your shot and took it. Well played.
Good to see Anna! Missed seeing her in your videos!
Absolutely!
Thanks for coming back Anna.
We missed you, because you grew on us!
Honestly lol
Glad you had fun there, as it looks like! Lol
A nice pleasant visit to Santa's Land. Nice to see Anna again.
I can remember my grandparents taking me and my brother here when we were little and I am in my 40s now.:) The huge plaster rabbit used to scare me.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
I was also afraid and quite possibly traumatized by the giant rabbit as a child. 😂
My grandparents used to take me to I’m from ga I’ll be 33 next week
Shane Mattison Heck I’m 64 and just the vid of it traumatized me!
I'm 41 and we used to go every summer when we were little. We'd go to Santa's Land or to Ghost Town in the Sky. Now my 19 year old daughter has been going with my parents since she was a baby. Anna is the sarcastic teenage commentary we've needed.
Hi Jacob And Anna 🙋🏿♀️☮️💜.
Love Santa Land! We took the kids there in the late 80s early 90s. Now the grandbabies go we love it. I'm old school so I like these little parks. I sure do love the Smoky Mountains. Love the video!!!
Pretty sure what you called an ashtray was actually for placing cooking spoons on to keep them off the stove or countertop surface. Lol.
Yes, it’s a spoon rest

Jacob, your daughter is adorable and its so nice to see a father and daughter having a great time together! Cherished memories!!!!
Happy to see Anna with you. Santa’s Land is great. The reindeer were so cute. Great seeing the other animals there. Special place to go. Love it. Thank you for bringing us along.
Seeing Anna makes me feel way older than any 20-something should. I've basically watched her grow up, I've been subbed since 2015.
So good to see you Anna - wishing you the best & miss you in the videos. Peace Love & Light!
How neat! Drove past it, out of season. Gotta stop in.
Fascinating place!
Cool
Holiday World is open again here in Indiana. They have virtual lines which makes it easy
The carpetbagger rocks!
i never heard of this. i am so going.
You will LOVE it if you like this vlog!! I'm 42 & have been going all my life!! Great memories, great times!!
Looks like a neat place to visit. The item in the gift shop is a spoon holder for on top the stove while you are cooking, not an ashtray.

Looks like a cool place to visit.
Totally
Y E S !
'A park from another time' their old school approach is what enabled them to reopen this year

Ferris wheel, named after George Ferris who designed it in 1893

Does it? goodness...lol

Welcome back Anna good too see your alive!!!
In our house it's mandatory to dance during you're intro music. The silliest dance you can manage. Then freeze in place at the end. Lol
I love this!! 💟
Do you do it for the old videos with the longer intros, as well? Whew, your family ain't gonna need no exercise plan...
Growing up every couple of years we would come here and ghost town went back couple years ago love that place 45 now been there had fun long live santas land
Nice bit of nostalia, glad its still going on and nice your daughter could join you.
Neatest little roller coaster 🎢
Oh my gosh she got so big! I guess I haven't watched a video with her in it for years!

Got to feed baby bears, out of small baby bottles, around 22 years ago. That was cool! 🐻
I keep missing this guy! 😭
I got my first postcard today, thanks

“I am almost 60, and I love things that remind me when times of the past were more innocent and good natured.”
Once again another great video. We visited Madam Tussads in Nashville yesterday. Very cool place
