Though she was raised Catholic, Florencia was not practicing her faith. While on a family vacation in Italy, she asked her husband to accompany her to Medjugorje because she had a desire to visit the place of Our Lady’s apparitions since she was 18 years old and first heard about it. In her testimony for the Fruits of Medjugorje series Florencia speaks of how going to confession in Medjugorje changed her life. She has made a pilgrimage to this place of peace and prayer several times since then.
