Me too Susan, l am on day 6 off it and already feel better, proper sleep is the best thing, along with better energy and skin...going to carry on! Good luck to you.
I was sober for month and a half, then i think i can drink a little for one night... Drank for two months Lost my wife... So now that im back being sober, never gonna make that mistake again, life goes back to shit so fast.
After 17 months of sobriety I finally dont crave a drink. ( Lord it's about time.) I am so aware of marketing now. I was watching an interview the other day, behind this guy, I a living room was a alcohol cart. Fully stocked. Absolutely no reason to have that in the shot. So stupid now when I see this GARBAGE!!
Leon, quick question, did you cut people out your life that you drank with or did you just do that temporarily? I love my friends, not just for alcohol but I feel like I am being too sentimental
I think the point is you don’t need to alienate your friends at all, so long as they’re not being obnoxious about your not drinking. No need for you to be jealous, or worry their drinking will affect or tempt you because you really just don’t want it. For me, it’s like watching someone eating liver! Enjoy it if you like it, but I’ll pass! (Difference is I NEVER liked liver haha). Actually, it’s like when I gave up cigarettes. I don’t get jealous when my friends step out for a smoke, enjoy! But, I do feel sorry for them, and I don’t miss the urge. It’s exact the same with booze. Separate the chemical from the person. And, if anyone nags you to have a drink, are they really your true friend? It’s an excellent gage!
I like this, but I know that the people I would like to share them with will not listen this long you talk quite a bit which is fine I guess but the people I want to share with like more straight to the point information because they’re not crazy lunatic alcoholics they just drink too much that’s it. And that’s most people out there right now and so I think there could be a quicker and more direct way of telling them they’re being lured by a fake lure.

I totally relate, a night of binge drinking always made me feel ashamed of myself the next day.
I drank alone ... but I embarrassed myself and lied to everyone !!! There is more than one way to feel SHAME. Thank you for all you do!
