I now have trouble seeing 2 lb. line and I can hardly feel it with my fingers. It was my line of choice in my younger days, but now I relegate myself to 4 lb. test for ultralight fishing.
@@JudahMaccabee_ set the drag a little tighter and try to keep the rod tip pointed just a little bit to the left or right of the line direction to keep a small amount of tension on the hook at all times. I've caught several bass on 2 lb test and rarely have my line broken
I ise 8lb crappie line for pan fish i caught too many bass,channels,turtles while trying to get bluegill for bait for my river fishing anything lighter just dont hold up for me in my water ways

update: the casting distance on this setup is actually crazyyy, this setup could have you fishing a lake 3 miles from where youre sittin haha
