Tactic and choices in play were better on the Scott side: kicking, line-ups, mauls and single pass attacks worked all well. the fighting spirit at the end was also in Scotland. Great game, a lesson in realism that the young French team should not have needed. And the Scottish team won over the English one, so the French loss has some logic and is not as painful as the loss of the crunch.

Overall the standard of rugby in the 6 nations was such a joy to watch, especially France and Scotland-both teams love to play with ball in hand. The Autumn nations cup was a terrible spectacle of rugby I don’t really care who wins as long as they play attractive rugby(something Ireland struggle to do)

From Japan, both teams are very very well done. Especially, France tackles shaked me, so I was impressed in the last minutes. However, I think that Scotland team's concentration is better. As a South African only seen the highlights but this seems to have matched or even beaten the French-Welsh game. Not sure who i was supporting. I hope the French coach made the No15 walk home after that blaps. van der Merwe also redeemed himself for missing the tackle that led to French try in first half. Lets hope the Lions tour takes place.Anywhere will do. One thing for sure is that there will be less English players that there would have been had a team been picked before 6N began. Great tournament BUT what can be done about Italy.
I loved this... what a finish!! I'm an England fan who has always loved and respected Scottish rugby. The Scots thoroughly deserved to beat England in the first round, and they've pulled out a massive game here against France. Part of me wanted France to stop Wales from winning the tournament after their cheating first try against England - something more suited to a football field than to a rugby field. But at he end of the day, I was much happier to see Scotland play with fire in their bellies and pull off this win, and let Wales have their tainted trophy.
