we just watch yr vdo in England. I came from Korat and cook Padmee Korat for my husband Daniel quite often. He loves that. We plan to move to Chiengmai..at hangdong area...if possible to go to visit us ...and taste my cooking both Thai and English Food.

We Thais used to know about 50 or even longer ago or knew very few Europeans at that time there were very few Europeans in Thailand. For us, a farang on the Thai streets was something special, you have to imagine, a tall, blond, blue-eyed, white-skinned person, something beautiful we didn't see anyway. The word Farang is not an insult for us Thais. It's the opposite, farang is something special and cute, especially if he still speaks Thai. When you walk through the markets, people see you as a positive and sweet person who has integrated into our country. So Mickey the people of Thailand live you. When they laugh at you, they make a big positive compliment about you. Even I, living in Europe, find you very interesting and accept you like a real Thai. Farang is a positive word we use for European foreigners.
Korat people are super friendly. You stood out because you are under the age of 40, can speak fluent Thai and are a vlogger which would put you in the top 1% of foreigners in Korat hence the attention😊

Come to Korat and visit Phimai. In Phimai, there is an ancient stone castle in the Khmer period. There are many food options to choose from. Not far from Korat, 60 kilometers. Phimai welcomes you.😄

Mickey, next time you’re in Korat, please stop by Khao Yai National Park or the Khmer ruins in Phimai. Try Pad Mee Korat or Khanom Jeen as well if you have a chance.
I went to Phimai and they said I must pay 500 Baht if i want to make a video inside. So I left.

I also forgot to mention that Som Tum Korat is different than normal Som Tum Thai since it has COOKED Pla Ra in it. I know you don’t like the smell, but you should try it at least once!
It wasn't dual pricing. I purchased an ordinary ticket for 100 baht but then they have seen my camera and requested to pay extra 500 Baht if i want to make a video inside

korat Noodle is called Phad mhee Korat and Korat food that you must try to eat Som Tam Korat. It is different from normal Isan Papaya Salad. You have to try it, it's delicious, but there are fermented fish.
Pad Mee Korat is noodle Korat fried with flavored water specifically.

If I was hearing correctly, the shellfish dish is mussels, not oysters. Also, for those not familiar, the cucumber slicers with the spicy pork help cool down that palate.
