Hello, i have a MC2100 control board my motor would start in full speed then stop, so i replaced the IRFP250N MOSFET then it satrted to work normally but the moment you walk on treadmill, very weak power, (then once I started to walk on the treadmill it lost power and stoped, again, same thing would do turn on full speed for couple sec and stop,), so i changed it again and works fine but dramatically LOSS OF POWER, (just like last time, so i assume that as soon as i would walk on it it will kill the MOSFET again) what can cause it? please help.
Check your motor. When running check if the motor is heating. If it is heating check if voltage is okay and check the bearing if it is still okay. Both bearing front and back.
The board in mine also has bad staining but capacitors look okay. Staining looks very old on this board. Maybe previous bad caps been replaced on my board. Did you match the bad mosfet or go with something close? Thanks for the video, it was interesting.
This is my type of treadmill and I might have switch the cables in wrong places on the motherboard after cleaning. Please I need a proper connection video of this very treadmill.

Hi very informative. I changed the mosfet to my treadmill because was shoryted ansd as soon I started the treadmill it got shorted again do you know what is the cause in the board

I changed the mosfet second time and removed the Treadmill Motor Belt and run the treadmill with the new mosfet and this time did not blow up the mosfet but as soom I installed the motor belt again and run the treadmill and this time it did blow up the mosfet again. the treadmill walking belt its find. it does not fill hard to turn. its fill free.
@@MORJOYES a flyback diode is just an ordinary diode. In some of my video it shows how to check a diode. Similar way you check the bridge rectifier. After you replace the mosfet remove the motor connection not the belt. If connecting the motor again and blows the mosfet then you have a problem with the motor.
Mosfet can fail for some reasons. 1 Bad quality of the new transistor 2 over current, motor can be failed. 3 belt, deck or both. You need a clamp meter for test the current, if the machine works for 120 volts current never exceds the 13 amps. Using a infrared thermometer you can test the temp of the belt, never be more than 45 Celsius degrees in the contact point. Best Regards.

Can you give me some training providers name from Philippines? I prefer short term training programs over year long ones. Any help would be generously appreciated.
I think your country is near to India. They have a lot of programs their for biomed. But due to covid cases in India, it will be very difficult to train their. My advice is try to apply for a job in hospital or company that sell and provide service for medical equipment. They usually have their own training program. There's a lot of medical equipment and its impossible to be train for all of them. Choose your field like diagnostic, life support or monitoring. The best training is always from the manufacturer.
Just a little info on high speed switching mosfets.Never use digital multimeter to test if mosfets are good or bad.Use analog multimeter to test switching of mosfets.🤗🤗
I think it has to do with the internal circuitry inside of the DMM. It will can give false readings depending on the orientation of the leads. This is just an educated guess

That's tricky. If it's connected to relay your multimeter will read it as short because of the relay coil. Remove it from the board and test again.

That is not capacitor leakage. It is some kind of adhesive they use to hold the caps in place.

It's not a capacitor stain. It's an adhesive to hold the capacitor in place.

The clicking sound might be coming from the relay. It will be tricky you need to test the components on the board

Try to start without connecting the motor. If there is flyback diode check it if short. It is parallel to the motor connected to the MOSFET.

What do you mean? Check flyback diode
Mosfet can fail for some reasons.

Usually no. Depends on the circuit. Short bridge rectifier will blow the fuse.

Replace IRFP250 still doesn't work, and with the same problem, that treadmill starts a few seconds rather than stopping.
Check your other components, the MOSFET might not be the main problem.
