23:36 Creepers can't blow up nether stars. I mean, no one wants to lose a nether star, so I totally get you. But luckily nether stars are inmune to explosions. Be it explosions from creepers, tnt or even from another wither the nether star survives it all!. Btw, just to make sure I tested this in 1.16.4 and that is how it works. Also, cool fight in the end!

I would like to see some quick key tips on switching your elytra and Chestplate, along with some rapid potion changes. You also get more time from your potions by throwing them up above you instead of at your feet.

On bedrock or java, the same thing happened to me except in a cave. The wither destroyed everything no matter how prepared I was, even with fully enchanted netherite on pocket edition.
Hey Pix you actually dont need 41 beacons for the sorter you can put just one beacon in the first slot and 41 filter items in the hopper in stacks of 11. Hope it helps great video btw 👍🏻
Hi pix, I have a couple of suggestions. 1. The tunnel method works extremely well in an end island due to end stone’s higher blast resistance that makes the fight easier (In my opinion. 2. The creeper in the over world fight out in the open was of no threat to the nether star because nether stars are immune to explosions.
Tips for bedrock players (from my experience): DO NOT FIGHT THE WITHER IN A CAVE. You will end up getting withered and having to drink milk (so no night vision). If you dont want to fight it legitimately, go and trap it under the bedrock portal in the end (go watch a tutorial and test it out in a creative world first to make sure nothing goes wrong). For an easy but legit fight, summon it away from your base in the surface and fly around it while you take down its health (bring a couple of fireworks bc it tends to go up, some milk buckets and maybe strenght potions)
Not so worried about it now, thanks. I was going to get bees to do it for me but your tunnel method seems safer given I inevitably punch a bee or two when breeding them.
Pixlriffs should deserve more subscribers then this. Two years ago I didn't even know how to play minercraft and didn't even have interest in it but he taught me all of this an now I want to buy minecraft but I can't buy it yet he is so influencing and he should deserve more subscibers than 687k.
If you’re in end game Minecraft in bedrock, I find it useful to fight the wither in a very open area away from your base. Once the wither gets into sword mode, I suggest just flying around with elytra and rockets and swinging at it. Just remember to bring a bunch of milk buckets cause the wither effect is a pain

My first wither fight was above ground before we ( a friend and me) had a elytra, it was very close to our bases but they remained intact. the whole landscape was a waste land for months xD we died about 20 times xD
@@DarkNght-cl6xp Java, we didnt even knew it was in the game lol. someone told me how to make it so we collected the mats and poofff there it was. we lost all our gear a couple of times and it stayed alive for several days xD. then when we were ready we fought him with elytra and we won.
@@De_Klapperkoning rip You are lucky that you aren't in bedrock edition, the bedrock wither will not give you chance to gear up, the only way to defeat it ( in your situation since you are new to the game) is to turn into peaceful
@@DarkNght-cl6xp Does it track you when you died and spawned back at base? we we're horrified that it would destroy our cityscape and in particular our bases. It went it's own way so we were safe, we ran back a couple of times and everytime we came to this place, 100 blocks away, we found lots of wither roses and there was more ground landscaped by the wither xD after 20 deaths we were so done we let it stay there for days. when we came for the kill we couldn't find it, it had the bossbar in screen but no sound nothing. after a long search we found him in his self made cave. this first wither fight will stay with me forever. right now, 2 years later i'm still overprepared most of the times when i'm looking to fight the wither xD
The bedrock edition wither is a little different, it swoops at you like the dragon dealing insane damage. Also Java withers are essentially easy mode withers on bedrock. They are fun!
i love fighting the wither on surface it can be a little bit hard bit if you see after getting a full set of protection 4 diamond armour no mob can damage the you that much and fighting the wither underground seems easy so a little bit of challenge seems interesting
how to beat the wither on bedrock: you don't... on a serious note tho, i would recommend not fighting the wither underground, and make sure u get several totems, i mean 7-12 would be a great amount, also bring all the potions mentioned. Furthermore, u can take potions like instant healing 2 and pour in a cauldron, where if u put 3 and a stack of arrows, you can click on it to tip all of them, and instant healing does more damage to undead mobs like withers and zombies. You should get protection 3 or 4 on all gear ( put chestplate on when going into sword mode). Finally bring a ton of milk and splash regen and instant healing 2 potions. I hope this helps. Its better to fight in the end under the portal. I know people think you can't but you can 100% you have to set it up different than in Java. I mine wither roses this way.
@@smolbean2263 i meant that u should fight him on the surface, like in a plains or something so you can dodge his charge attacks and the skulls, cause they do wither 2 on bedrock I'm pretty sure which is a pain to deal with and for 40 sec on hard, which is crazy imo. In the nether, however, u run the risk of him either phasing through the bedrock( its bugrock what do u expect) and also lava, which can come from anywhere and moves really fast. And fire res won't work cause if u get hit by wither u'll need to drink milk, which causes you to be vulnerable to lava again and fire too.
@@raiden1425 Play easy mode (no wither effect) jk I had him trapped in a sort bedrock cage 3x3 but without floor so I could shoot him without him escape (I can give you cords becuz bedrock in Nether roof is the same in every seed in bedrock
lol, what I loved doing a while back was in a creative world doing kinda a championship between withers and ender dragons (yes multiple of both) and yes I did work. In certain situations, either team was able to win. I find the most interesting fight was something like 2dragons vs. 5-7 withers.
in my testing, holding and using your shield will block the damage you take from the initial explosion, will need to test with basic shield and no armor just to check (unsure if you have prot4 on armor with a shield that has unb3 and mending helps)

I play bedrock and I like fighting the wither in a savanna biome because it’s really flat and I can easily dodge the dash attacks. In a desert though of the wither skull hits a sand block and it gets updated then I may fall down a ravine that was covered up with sand before it got updated. In a cave I find it really hard to dodge the dash attacks though. And also on hard mode the wither gives wither two instead of one in bedrock so I usually just change my mode to easy or normal when I fight it

You can summon the Wither, stack up 50 blocks (or already have a stack and fly or climb up) and drop around 8 anvils on the Wither. Make sure to not destroy the star with another anvil. The Wither will not move around if there are no mobs around and you are high enough. Usually, you can reuse the anvils.
Hey Pixlriffs! I have a great idea for a series. Minecraft but you have to collect one of every item in the game. The catch is, the item you save MUST be the FIRST item you pick up. Meaning if you load into a world and the first thing you do is mine dirt, that block of dirt must be the one you save for your collection. I really hope you see this and consider doing it. I will answer any Qs anyone has
Pixlriffs you are the best pve player ever. I look at your world and say "Ooooh, I want to biuld that giant castle pixlriffs made!" and then I go into my survival world and realize I only have 9 stacks of cobble stone and 24 diamonds lol! You ARE REALLY THE BEST PVE PLAYER EVER!! Have you ever just dit back and looked back at the survival giude episode 1 and looked at what a glory of a survival world you have created?
Note: you can deflect wither skulls with a sword like how you do with a ghast and avoid the wither skulls if you're fighting it on the surface. You can also wear Blast Protection IV armor that help with the wither skulls in the fight
Only blue skulls can be deflected, plus full protection Armor is better, the full protection Armor will make the explosions make no damage even in bedrock edition, the problem with the wither is the wither effect and the dash attack in bedrock
Fighting the wither is certainly one of the fun things to do :-). I missed at least some honorable mentions of dudes that farm wither stars with a redstone contraption ;-).
Lingering potions of Healing are the best way to recover health because it heals you three times in a row very quickly(6 or 12 hearts total!) whereas a normal splash potion only heals you once (2 or 4 hearts).
In Bedrock you go to the end and get rid of the area under the portal that brings you back. Put down a sunflower so you know which way is west because that's the way you have to put the wither otherwise the wither won't get stuck. It will then slower suffocate but you can hit it to make it go faster.
It is not widely used for tileable designs as 64+4 create a less redstone strength than 64+44 and due to more strength it powers the dust next to it causing the other hopper to unlock, draining the item and breaking the filter
I'm pretty sure you didn't pick up the nether star from the fight in the end. You already had 6 after the one with the golems and after the next fight, you still only had 6 instead of 7. Not that you need any more of them after this video
Have a realm where a good few people live in the nether, one of them decide to fight the wither. But rather than going to the over world to fight it underground, he goes and spawns it in a nether Ute mine near a cluster of the nether bases. Essentially it breaks the netherack with ease and cause a lot of lag. It quickly got out and caused chaos. The wither is no joke!
I always fight the Wither on the surface because I don't like cheesing it. What works for me is full netherite armor and gapples, whenever you get low you eat a gapple to regen health.
I think that the reason why the withers didn't attack each other is because of how the skulls were changed. The wither used to be able to get hurt by wither skulls, but since they no longer do, when they attack each other they don't damage the others. The wiki probably hasn't been updated.

If you fight the wither using the end strat: be sure to have the Dragon egg somewhere in a chest! I had the egg as a display piece in my house and for eome reason the wither explosions Transported throug the end portal to the egg and destroyed my house

The tip for fighting the either on bedrock: stick that sob in some bedrock and let him suffocate, any other method will end in your destruction.

If it’s your first time fighting the wither, you should just use beacon effects to make it easier. It’s simple

You can add some additional filler blocks to help reduce the 41 blocks needed to "fill" the filter to allow items into the chest.

Underground is a good Idea but it is better to fight him under the Nether roof
Its better to fight in the end under the portal. I know people think you can't but you can 100% you have to set it up different than in Java. I mine wither roses this way.

@@smolbean2263 i meant that u should fight him on the surface, like in a plains or something so you can dodge his charge attacks and the skulls, cause they do wither 2 on bedrock I'm pretty sure which is a pain to deal with and for 40 sec on hard, which is crazy imo. In the nether, however, u run the risk of him either phasing through the bedrock( its bugrock what do u expect) and also lava, which can come from anywhere and moves really fast. And fire res won't work cause if u get hit by wither u'll need to drink milk, which causes you to be vulnerable to lava again and fire too.
@@raiden1425 Play easy mode (no wither effect) jk I had him trapped in a sort bedrock cage 3x3 but without floor so I could shoot him without him escape (I can give you cords becuz bedrock in Nether roof is the same in every seed in bedrock

lol, what I loved doing a while back was in a creative world doing kinda a championship between withers and ender dragons (yes multiple of both) and yes I did work. In certain situations, either team was able to win. I find the most interesting fight was something like 2dragons vs. 5-7 withers.

in my testing, holding and using your shield will block the damage you take from the initial explosion, will need to test with basic shield and no armor just to check (unsure if you have prot4 on armor with a shield that has unb3 and mending helps)
He is not kidding about it getting high up when you fight it. One time I fought it above ground and finally killed it at y=4600, it was soooo laggy

He had six Stars after killing the Wither with the Iron golem. He was supposed to get the 7th
I play bedrock and I like fighting the wither in a savanna biome because it’s really flat and I can easily dodge the dash attacks. In a desert though of the wither skull hits a sand block and it gets updated then I may fall down a ravine that was covered up with sand before it got updated. In a cave I find it really hard to dodge the dash attacks though. And also on hard mode the wither gives wither two instead of one in bedrock so I usually just change my mode to easy or normal when I fight it

You can summon the Wither, stack up 50 blocks (or already have a stack and fly or climb up) and drop around 8 anvils on the Wither. Make sure to not destroy the star with another anvil. The Wither will not move around if there are no mobs around and you are high enough. Usually, you can reuse the anvils.
Hey Pixlriffs! I have a great idea for a series. Minecraft but you have to collect one of every item in the game. The catch is, the item you save MUST be the FIRST item you pick up. Meaning if you load into a world and the first thing you do is mine dirt, that block of dirt must be the one you save for your collection.
I really hope you see this and consider doing it. I will answer any Qs anyone has

I look at your world and say "Ooooh, I want to biuld that giant castle pixlriffs made!" and then I go into my survival world and realize I only have 9 stacks of cobble stone and 24 diamonds lol! You ARE REALLY THE BEST PVE PLAYER EVER!! Have you ever just dit back and looked back at the survival giude episode 1 and looked at what a glory of a survival world you have created?
Note: you can deflect wither skulls with a sword like how you do with a ghast and avoid the wither skulls if you're fighting it on the surface. You can also wear Blast Protection IV armor that help with the wither skulls in the fight
Only blue skulls can be deflected, plus full protection Armor is better, the full protection Armor will make the explosions make no damage even in bedrock edition, the problem with the wither is the wither effect and the dash attack in bedrock

Fighting the wither is certainly one of the fun things to do :-). I missed at least some honorable mentions of dudes that farm wither stars with a redstone contraption ;-).
Lingering potions of Healing are the best way to recover health because it heals you three times in a row very quickly(6 or 12 hearts total!) whereas a normal splash potion only heals you once (2 or 4 hearts).

Tips for bedrock players : Before fighting the wither, you would want to trap the wither in a cage of obsidian. Never fight it in the open.

My man has some crazy ideas
In Bedrock you go to the end and get rid of the area under the portal that brings you back. Put down a sunflower so you know which way is west because that's the way you have to put the wither otherwise the wither won't get stuck. It will then slower suffocate but you can hit it to make it go faster.
Tip for storage systems; use 44 renamed items like stone, or netherack and only a single item that you are sorting ( in first hopper slot)
It is not widely used for tileable designs as 64+4 create a less redstone strength than 64+44 and due to more strength it powers the dust next to it causing the other hopper to unlock, draining the item and breaking the filter

I'm pretty sure you didn't pick up the nether star from the fight in the end. You already had 6 after the one with the golems and after the next fight, you still only had 6 instead of 7. Not that you need any more of them after this video
Have a realm where a good few people live in the nether, one of them decide to fight the wither. But rather than going to the over world to fight it underground, he goes and spawns it in a nether Ute mine near a cluster of the nether bases. Essentially it breaks the netherack with ease and cause a lot of lag. It quickly got out and caused chaos. The wither is no joke!
I always fight the Wither on the surface because I don't like cheesing it. What works for me is full netherite armor and gapples, whenever you get low you eat a gapple to regen health.
I think that the reason why the withers didn't attack each other is because of how the skulls were changed. The wither used to be able to get hurt by wither skulls, but since they no longer do, when they attack each other they don't damage the others. The wiki probably hasn't been updated.

If you fight the wither using the end strat: be sure to have the Dragon egg somewhere in a chest! I had the egg as a display piece in my house and for eome reason the wither explosions Transported throug the end portal to the egg and destroyed my house
The end lights up because the Enderdragon is a big-boss like the Wither, darkens the surroundings.
