Well that was nice, and I know that tiny wood block is very light, so it's perfect for your load. How ever I would certainly secure it with steaks on them slot holes on that FLATCAR jus to be safe.👌 Love them covered hoppers in your background 👍. Nice lookn layout 😁😉
Cute loads, indeed very simple. Think an added wash will put some emphasis on the scribed lines. This will possibly take away the apparition of the block being a single block of wood.
A great video.. I think you might have done better scoring the timber before painting it.. then it would get into the crevices better and look like pieces instead of a block. I'm just curious as to why you and others never bother with load restraints on the loads you make?? are they just to sit there and hope they don't come off or does mother nature provide the chains, straps and ropes for that .. hahaaaa....
Thanks Tim good idea. I could have drawn in load restraints but wanted them to be easily removable. I have since changed to different loads. I also made a video about that if you want to check it out - ua-cam.com/video/2gZWQGX-Tjs/v-deo.html&ab_channel=KrazyTrainGuy
Too bad I found this channel after I threw out over a dozen very old cox lumber loads that were not in the best of shape. Joys of rescuing 5 tots of trains, cox and old life like action structure from the dump. Sold 3 totes worth at the train show recently. IF you have a large population of seniors in your community then keep a eye on the re use centers or put a ad in your local paper for used toy trains, What their kids are willing to get rid of will blow your mind.
It seems that we realise after the fact that we should have kept some of that old stuff. Great suggestion and I'll be sure to make use of it for sure. Thanks for watching!
Nicely done,,thanks for sharing…
Thanks Frankkie, I'm glad you enjoyed the video.
They look much nicer than the plastic Walthers loads !

Thanks! Yes good idea so they don't fall off the flatcar lol.

Thanks Vincent. Good idea as it would bring out the lines and make the loads more real.

You forgot to show how you made the tiny slots in the wood pieces ?
Sorry about that. I used an X-acto Knife and a ruler to do the slots. thanks For watching.
@@krazytrainguy Ok ,thank you .Have a nice end of day .
Not being rivet counter, pulp car load. C-beam for lumber load or bulk head car.
Stay tuned and we'll watch the paint dry.
Sorry that you didn't enjoy the video. I have many others if you wish to watch them or not that's totally up to you.

How did you score it?
Hi Danny, I used an X-acto knife and a ruler.
Thanks.
The only thing it needs is 5 wood stickers under the load.
Yes good point thanks. That would make the load look that much more realistic.

The camera motion back and forth make me a bit dizzy.
Sorry about that. It was one of my earlier videos.
