Same dude 😢 I miss it so much!! I think this was the best team I’ve ever seen. Every time I come back to it, my first thought is always, wow this is what a good team actually looks like😅
This squad had everything. No fear, resiliency, toughness. A physical group that had that swagger. A lot of things the current Eagles lack. Miss this run w/ Foles.
Of course I'm biased as an Eagles fan, but what a Cinderella story this playoff run was. Has to be one of the greatest ever. The look in Nick Foles' eyes in the superbowl still gives me chills
@@crispusattucks4504 it was definitely an outlier year, not even counting the backup qb, none of that WR core was considered even particularly good, running game was unproven and the defensive line was questionable outside of fletcher cox and maybe graham
@@crispusattucks4504 The eagles were the first ever #1 seed to be underdogs at home in the playoffs. I’d say that counts as a massive Cinderella story since NOBODY said they would go on to win a super bowl after Wentz got hurt

Just remember the real heroes are our fighting men and women who put their lives on the line in 3rd world terrorist hell holes so that we can sleep in peace at night
I could imagine driving on 95 by the stadium when Julio Jones dropped that pass. Could probably easily hear through all the other noise how loud that stadium was
I remember this year so vividly. There were so many people saying the Vikings were going to dominate us with there defense, and seeing us win so comfortably as a team made me so happy. Then watching us go on to dethrone the Patriots in such an amazing Superbowl will always be a legendary moment in my life
I was not familiar with that play. So I watched it now and I'm like yeah but so what, it's not going to lead to points-well shit, look at that! Nice little rabbit out of their hats before the half.
That allowed the Eagles to score a FG. They had a 5 point lead when the Falcons tried to score a game winning TD. If not for that play off the knee, it would probably be a 2 point game and a FG would win. Sometimes the ball just bounces in your favor and that's the difference. Definitely a special year.
Chills literal chills.. this team was literally unstoppable they were so good... I'll never forget when they came out with the dog masks.. so happy to see my team win the Superbowl FINALLY 🥇
I will never forget this. I didn't think I could feel this kind of feeling again, but here it is. My Eagles are doing well and look so promising. I love them.

The underdogs at home vs Minnesota in the NFC championship. Atlanta in the first round of the playoffs as underdogs as well! Dominated in Minnesota for the Super Bowl WIN AND REDEMPTION against the Patriots !

I still remember back then when the season started nobody had given us a chance. But then comes to my senses here it’s that nobody was really gonna give it to us easily because the entire Eagles team had to earned it. That’s exactly what happened. But with this team right here it was truly something special. I didn’t know what to expect but that year was an amazing run that I will never forget.
The birds winning a super bowl has been my dads dying wish every season since I was born. We cried and shared an unforgettable moment at the end of the game. I’d give anything to relive this playoff run. Let’s win another 🦅
What a great team, every player added to the success of this season 👏🏾 I remember sitting in front of the tv every playoff game praying 😂😂 After we slaughtered the Vikings I knew we were taking it all the way home
With Week 1 just 6 days away, looking back, man this team was so special. One of a kind. Legendary team, with all the injuries, the storylines, Nick Foles' journey back to the league and Eagles, the way it happened, the way we were underdogs throughout the playoffs, the way we proved everyone wrong, gosh I love this team. And 2022-23 season is gonna be a fun one to watch. #FlyEaglesFly

I cried that day we won the super bowl.. they weren’t the best team that year but they showed up with heart it was like watching the replacements lol
I’m from Tennessee and I’ve been a eagles fan since 2007 when I was 8 years old and also when I fell in love with football but I rooted for them ever since and this season in particular 17-18 season was amazing. That team was special and also the next season when they lost in the divisional round but I’m glad I got to witness the super bowl season and I hope another one day and I honestly think they have the team to do it this season they just have to get that same mentality back as they did back then. It’ll happen again sooner or later
All you need is a Blunt and a Jay. Both underrated players btw. I hate how RBs are considered replaceable despite the beating they take. More recently Jordan Howard is a good example.
Literally everything came together in one go, files just started nailing passes, D got crucial stops and blocks, and kicker was solid, and it peaked at exactly the right time, hard to even tell a month before these playoffs if we were good enough, but we just got a streak, not luck or hard work but both
Man this team was cheering each other on, no matter the position room. Well idk if the QB room was doing that in the playoffs. Maybe so. Idk. It was a genuine live for each position group and their members to show out this season. That energy Blount, Long and others had that season was something special. So many leaders
This is a great video for obvious reasons. The absolute eruption of the Linc when Patrick Robinson picked that ball off is probably the loudest I ever heard that building. I watched a video on here that someone made of every TD this team scored this entire season and I was baffled at how quickly I forgot about how electric this offense was. What stood out the most was the running game being so physical and Wentz could do no wrong. And people wonder why it was hard to accept that he was washed up here. That being said, what stood out the most was Jeffrey and Agholor were SO GOOD. They were the difference makers in my mind. It’s crazy to watch actually because of how fast it all fell apart for every one of them except Ertz really. Oh yeah and the backup QB came in and played what turned out to be 6 1/2 quarters of flawless football. Damn near every throw was perfect from the time of the Robinson pick till there was 0.00 on the clock at the end of the SB.
