The editing in 5:41 is just top notch, editor riff you're a gold mine
Appreciate yall 🤜🤛
I think I speak for everyone when I say I wish my pawn shops were like this lol 😂
I kinda go to a certain pawn shop to get video games & consoles, but i went in & seen 3 games; Gta IV, Fallout new vegas, & call of duty black ops for $15; $5 dollar games & the lady said you can grab 2 more ill give you a deal & i was like say less
I'm so glad i came across your channel a few weeks ago!! i'm a huge fan of your game hunting adventures!!! its one of the things i now look forward to on youtube!! KEEP up the good work, Keep being awesome!! :)
Yoooo! Thats my listing of the intellivision flashback when i sold it. Thats hilarious! It was on my pool table. Haha. Caleb, love your videos man. I saw you at my local swap meet here in California with your group on the weekend of socal gaming expo ontario. Keep up the content!
What a pick up! I just did an OfferUp pick up yesterday for 200 and some of the highlights included a special edition Pokémon game boy color (the yellow and blue one) and Pokémon red for the gameboy, totally value around 600-700! Love the videos keep up the good work!
Definitely not, unless they’re CIB !
Those power magazines was a good deal.
Your content is amazing. I discovered it randomly on the feed and it was a gamecube gambit video. Since then I have subscribed to this channel as well as the second one. Now its a nightly routine to watch a video or two to end my night! Keep it up my friend and to your success!
I love learning more about Video games and what is worth picking up.
I appreciate your vids! 👍
What's one game I should look out for when thrifting?
“My new friend” ,the classic line
It's the little stuff like the Mario OOF at 2:16 when the Dreamcast controller falls that make these videos fun lol
Oh god, that sega block buster case is giving me flashback to my childhood.
I hate my local pawn shops now after watching this video lol.
Yea, I agree. I wouldn't have said a word about the Dragon Ball game or any of the rest of it. It's not our job as game hunters and full time resellers to educate those from whom we're buying from on prices of games. Everyone has access to the internet on their phones these days and can easily look up sold prices. If they don't want to do their due diligence, I'm not going to do it for them.
Totally agree, shooting himself in the foot.
This is why he’s not a pos like the rest of you
@@shadowchannel4374 😆😆like I said, it's not our job as full time resellers to do their due diligence. If they don't want to take the time to look up sold prices, I'm damn sure not gonna tell them. The main goal of a full time reseller is to get AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE, for AS CHEAP AS POSSIBLE, in order to MAKE AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE! Money > Games!
Very true listening to a Daily Refinement video he did mention that building those relationships is a good thing because they will go, "ok you have helped me get some good business I'll give you first crack at items as a way of saying thanks or anytime I get a lot of this brand I'll hit you up for first looks" so yes you ate crazy Caleb but honest and you will be rewarded.
I have tons of nintendo powers. Used to have a subscription, they'd come every month. Tips & Tricks was also my fav, have many of them still.
Got to catch your WhatNot show a couple days ago! Super fun, can’t wait for the next one 😁
Elsie talking back was so funny 😂
Its so cool to come across you man! I live south of the Louisville area, just got started into re-selling. Thinking about making some UA-cam content myself and starting a SNES collection. Love the vids so far. Good luck and keep it up!
I stil enjoy your videos even after spending too much time editing them hahahah 😆
I came across your videos a little over 2 months ago and literally started my resell journey the following day. I have made 2K in profit and got to find/keep some cool stuff along the way without spending a single dollar (after profit). Thanks for the inspiration bro, keep the grind going 🙏🏼
What do you use to determine value and what’s the best place to sell in your opinion
THAT'S CRAZY!! I always used to go to that pawnshop, I was so weirded out when I saw the Parkette restaurant outside in the background I knew instantly you were in Lexington, KY MY CITY 😭😭😭❤️ Thats so cool I hope I get to see you sometime while I collect and hunt too :)
Hahahahahahahah i love the edits they’re so good. The dog part had me rolling😂😂😂😂😂
Oh heck yeah this is like what i have been doing with a local retro game shop
Your Dog kinda looks like Editor Riff which makes that part funnier lol
My mouth was watering when I saw the great deals on controllers
Especially with ps1 or nintendo discs, if you are worried about them not working, I would take a quick second to hold the disc up to a light, ceiling lights are fine, just make sue the label faces the light, and if any light is coming through in a major way, the disc wont work. a couple pin pricks are only a minor issue though.
U should show us the process of selling and putting up all these items! Would be very interesting
Wow! So many awesome retro finds
3ds ll wasnt only japan, i have it, the zelda link between worlds edition, it was released after regular 3ds and before 2ds and new 3ds xl if im correct
What are your profit margins?! Like 5-10 %??? Even if you sell on Amazon, is it that worth it? Or do you just pay up so you have content for UA-cam where the real money is at.
Hey i think your in Kentucky and i know there are some great little small game shops in Louisville around the Bardstown road area you might have a good time at!
Well this is a bit frustrating, considering one of the guys never called me back on a bundle deal of some gaming stuff. They got the better deal from you though. But still frustrating.
Both the DBZ Tenkaichi 3 PS2 Version and Psychonauts are a HUGE find. Both games are pretty rare. Tenkaichi 3 is probably my most played PS2 game it still stands up today as the best DBZ game imo. No doubt. Don't play the Wii version lol.
commenting solely on the title: OMG they let Him into the BACK ROOM 🤯🤯🤯 #laughingatyounotwithyou 😂😂😂
Phoenix, thank you for the entertaining and educational videos!
Question to resellers: I just started this week flipping games to help in paying off my student loans :) When buying games, do you test each one before selling it, or do you just trust the person you bought it from when they say it works. I have most Nintendo and Xbox console just from over the years, but PlayStation, I don't have. It feels like half the inventory I could have I couldn't verify it works. Thoughts?
Thanks guys!
Hello good sir, do you do your flipping online? If so, might I have a link to browse your wares? If I find nothing of interest I will still share the link with my other nerd/geek friends in case they see something. Let me know! And have a great weekend!
if i ever went back home and found my ps2 and games, i had all the tenkaichi's. happy to see theyre still worth something but ill probably never see mine again lol
@Phoneix Resale
Question. I have several Vintage Stocks in my area. I live in Missouri. l close to the main Vintage Stock. Do you think I would be able to find good deals?
You can fix scratched games pretty easily. Especially if they are the ones with the high value. You need some weak sand paper with a car polish bottle. Makes your discs look almost like new and definitely add more value to them. I have a big collection myself and some needed repair.
thats cool you told them about tenkaichi 3. but they also could've screwed you on other deals. since they then will look up everything.
6:20 @RetroRick would love those #Nintendo Power magazines. Same with editor Riff.
You didn’t get the block buster sega suit case.. I remember them as a kid was a great weekend when you could rent one.
Awesome stuff man! I do have a question tho I have a some games from my childhood that I want to get rid of how long does it usually take to sell your stuff on Amazon? Like would I be sitting on it for months waiting to sell?
Good ol Lexington
i playd the crap out of taz game u found that brought back some good mermories thanks keep up the great work
Dude love the content!! Would love some insider tips and you to teach from the beginning and where to possibly start since I know you said not everyone has the same luck in the same field.
He also has his youtube platform to get customers from
Caleb has entered the backrooms
Need for speed underground, that was my jam
I can stop watching your chancel every time I make a new account I seen most all ur videos 🥰
Double your money is an understatement from that lot lmao
Watching your video make me want to make my collection of consoles and game that i like! Cool video
I love your channel it always makes my day keep em coming!
Love the title sound like an adult movie. Great vids as usual hi from Scotland
as a retro game collector and a dragon ball home media collector. i would kill for a copy of budakai tenkaichi 3 at below msrp. i think it was respectable for you to let them know what it was worth and you still got a killer bargin on it.
Not me selling it for 15 bucks a few years ago lol
I have the Wii one with the bonus disk had it since launch :)
seeing emerald so low in those older videos is wild
Now that's a pick up!!
Love the 3ds great vid
should invest in a decent disc resurfacer seeing as you're buying disc based stuff all the time. Would be worth the investment plus if you had one you could buy anything without worrying about condition
Come to Los Angeles!!
GameCube Gambit!!
The alliance with spider man on the cover is worth money
Hello, I'm curious around how much money do you make per week or month, from resells.
Aye back door bandits always win 👌🏼
Broken consoles/handhelds have a market [better returns if you repair yourself tho]...
The puppy doggo 🥰😍
Hey guys, I have a couple of old game systems ( WII u, xbox 360 and a occulus rift) I'm trying to sell and some games, Random 3ds to ps3 games and was wondering whats the best place to compare prices and the best place to sell these items? I wanna sell so i can buy a quest 2
Does everything just move on Amazon way more than other platforms or do you just sit on inventory for months on end? I sell on ebay and typically takes me a month minimum to sell a game or console
Oh yes, i can definitely feel the geeky vibe
love the spongebob memes, please do more per vid. so funny.! mr krabbs is the best!
Gamecube Action Replay discs are worth a lot. I'm not sure if you ended up picking them up.
Grandia black label!
If any of the Nin. Power. are in mint condition, you should consider grading through CGC. Lower ones have gone from $500-$1000, and the niche keeps growing. Same for strategy guides.
Which ones are you seeing for $500? I only see the first and last issue go for anything more than even 80 bucks.
Love the Nintendo Powers!
Editor Riff is the goat
What is the app you use to get the pricing?
what a deal probably the best i’ve seen well my favorite that’s for sure just because it has my favorite game Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 AND Marvel VS Capcom 2
I beat you back there… but I only checked their fire extinguishers haha
2:55 is that Pokémon pinball? If so how much you would ask?
Edit: I am hunting for gameboy games myself. Not much but if i can hit the grail once in a while wouldn’t hurt me.
Already started with a modded gameboy advance sp with Pokémon sapphire (label was a little scratched) for $150 everything original already tested and checked.
Yes the legend has returned woohoo
Thanks to phoenix I lern how to sell games for profit im 13years old this is my second business my first was selling coins
Good morning Mr. Phoenix, I'm brand new to watching your channel. I really enjoy the concept and the "science" behind what you're doing. Do you have a particular genre of games you are after, or are you just after anything that is rare? You can just send me a link to a video that addresses this question if it's already been asked, I would appreciate that. I'm mainly curious because this year I started collecting "Disney Infinity" figures, and I've discovered that there are basically 4 items that would be considered "Grails" in the Disney Infinity world. The D23 variant of Sorcerer's Apprentice Mickey Mouse, the D23 King Mickey Power Disc and then the next 2, (which might not be as expensive/rare), are the Gravity Falls Power Discs and then Black Suit Spiderman. It would be awesome watching you go through the process of looking for a good deal on these. Have a great weekend and thank you for the awesome content! Keep it up brother!
U missed the action replay disc those sell for about 50 bucks
New north face hoody 😱😱😱😱😱 rip the yellow one
Did you go to Parkette and eat afterwards?
Maybe you say this later in the video... but why don't they have this stuff out on the floor to sell?
Do you resell stuff outside of games?
Lots of great stuff... congrats
What app is he always using to look up prices?
Thats awsome
Great pick up my guy
i also got bathroom access at a pawn shop and was promptly banned after being told that what i had excreted cleared the store out and was radioactive
LET'S GOOOOOO!
Great Content!
The blue N64 controller was the pokemon one. Ik because I have it.
That is some good stuff
Good stuff man
Phoenix resale can u make a step by step tutorial on how to resale on Amazon
Still don’t understand why idiots would pay more on items on Amazon, where it’s cheaper on eBay. I’m
love me some metal gear. started drooling when I saw that 1 2 and 3 box set. wonder if they had the outside cardboard case for it in one of the boxes somewhere
Liked before watching
I saw that hidden Mario party lol.
🔥🔥🔥🔥
@editor riff, you're doing a great fucking job man!
