His foundation is worldwide, working for peace, fair elections, social justice etc. He was justly awarded a Nobel prize. These two men are shining examples of how celebrity and stature can be used for good-- not greed. Looking at you Trump family.

There are, by the way, people of ALL religions doing good works for their fellow humans. For Sikhs, charity is an obligation. For me & my fellow Jews, charity isn't optional, it's a mandate. In fact, the Hebrew words for charity & justice have the same root. I'm sure Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, et. al. all promote charity as part of their doctrine. It's NOT an exclusively Christian concept, so pls stop urging people the "live up to Christian values". Just be decent human beings.

Jon and Dorthea have been non-stop donors to every cause in our humble little town of Red Bank, New Jersey and then they moved across the NY area - and likely beyond. They have built clinics, food pantries, restaurants with the dignity of service that is incredibly imaginative and successful. You cannot say enough good things about this family. We are blessed to have them in our area. This is their mission: "...the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation exists to combat issues that force families and individuals into economic despair. Through the funding and creation of programs and partnerships, they support innovative community efforts to break the cycle of poverty and homelessness." Blessings!

It's not the only hard for Americans to love your country at the moment. But as a German/Australian I like to admit that I can see our common ground bye listing to your show (including your wife, who always makes some "noise" to approve or be what wives do from time to time) and your guest's that underlines our common values. Keep going and keep in mind the world is watching you. Jon is only another example to demonstrate what I like about your country, but please get rid of the clown.

My 2nd concert ever at Kemper Arena in Kansas City was Bon Jovi during the New Jersey tour with Skid Row opening. Absolutely killer show with a walkway that dropped from the ceiling with ramps that allowed him to run around the upper deck aka cheap seats aka working mans section. It was so Jersey, I’ll never forget it. They opened with an extended drum intro to Lay Your Hands on Me 🥁.
