+BB5 Productions Definitely agree, everything about the Wii menu channel concept and how it was presented was absolutely fantastic. Even the blank channel spaces had TV static fuzz :D
What I like about the Mii Channel's music was that it was catchy at first, then it became annoying, and then I lost my insanity and started to like it. xD Well done on this piece, it kind of feels like an elevator song or a theme park song. Nice. :)
It's really cool how you managed to take such a simple theme and make it into something so...grand sounding. It sounds almost like elevator music....if elevator music was played by an entire orchestra! :D Also, is it weird that I have a strange kind of nostalgia for what is essentially just menu music? Just goes to show how great some of the composers at Nintendo are. :P
I've been doing a 365 days of music challenge, and I picked this one for today's choice! Thought you might be interested in reading what I wrote up for it: _______________ [My sister] and I used the Wii's Mii Channel today for the first time in...years? A very long time, anyway. We have come a long way since then! The limited options were a little frustrating to work with. That said, I do love the Miis, and I hope Nintendo continues with them for a long time to come. I feel like this arrangement stays pretty true to the tone of style of the original while still bringing a rich, orchestral sound. Of course, Cleffernotes' signature upward...glissandos? Portamentos? ...Doodledoodledoos? Anyway, they're there. I think the part that makes it sound most like the original is the lovely cello at 0:37. It's a strange piece of music. The original is quite electronic, which doesn't carry over as much here. But what remains is the charming quirkiness of it, the lighthearted essence of childlike surprise. It's like walking into a park or something and a group of children are peeking out playfully behind bushes and trees, startling you over and over again as they cry, "Boo!" I guess clicking something in the Mii Maker that looks a little...*shocking* (which I did several times while trying to make a Mii for [my sister]) fits that quite well.
Oh hey I just wanted to let you know that I used this song in my video: Super Smash Bros. 3DS ONLINE I put a link to this video in the description of that video.
You cannot (dum dum) resist to dance along (dum dum) to this funnky song (dum dum) face it, this songs number one. (dum dum) Make a Waluigi Mii! You can do it you see-eee. Make his cloths purple and give him a hat at at at at (dum dum)
Y'know I think the Wii probably had the most memorable system-level music ever.

My favorite has to be the shopping channel's music.
I have a thing for the night theme of the weather channel.
When I was younger, I honestly thought those menus were part of Nintendo's identity.

Considering the Switch doesn't have music for the Mii Maker, I'm playing this song over it when I make my Mii.
This is literally definition of elevator music

This orchestration is fantastic, but its even better at 1.25x speed.

Brilliant orchestration! This would incredibly help me improve my Logic Pro skills. Could you possibly share a link to the midi file?
