What sucks is you can't get the 360o camera package on the SR Premium, only the SV Premium which has an interior that's not as nice IMO and a harsher ride.
The all-new 2020 Sentra is a fantastic car! I've test driven a few recently and it's extremely impressive and a tremendous value! I would rate it as best in class. Everything works in harmony. It's almost shocking how much you get for the price. The SV trim seems to be the sweet spot.
@@p_enta5012 I picked up a hyndai ionic hybrid for $25,800 . About 50 mpg average. My mpg driving like mad/fast was 39 mpg and that was the worst I could get.
Definitely vastly improved over the last generation 2015 Sentra SR I once owned. What's interesting is that the Altima I own now gets as good and even better mpg than the Sentra I had. It's not unusual for me to get 38+ mpg and sometimes can reach 42 mpg on the highway and about 33 mpg city driving which competitive with the new Sentra even though the Altima is larger, heavier and far more powerful. My biggest complaint with the Sentra is that it was way underpowered and although the 2020 has more ponies under the hood it's still underpowered in my opinion especially compared to the competition. But in all other regards I now consider it at or at least very near the top of it's class in terms of all the other metrics which was definitely not the case with the previous generation.
The small engine bay is stuffed, the only way to give it more is a turbo and that would give one more thing to break. It is not a good value if your car is in the shop all the time. You are already playing dice with the CVT. A turbo would be right out.
I'm about to buy this car, glad it's got some good pickup if I have to drive at maniac speeds on a LA freeway. I'm more about dodging potholes here up the northeast. Good video with a great headset.
Note: It does look like he is driving in "Sport Mode" for a lot of the video. That's a good mode when you need extra power but not recommended for overall efficiently.
Sentra is way better with the 2 liter rather than that weak 1.8 liter. The CVT also seems like it works better too. I still wish you could get a manual...
@SlitWristMisfit Their CVT have improved significantly. They're now on their 3rd gen CVT. I own a 2020 Nissan Rogue and the way the updated CVT works vs the 2017 I test drove from a friend it's completely different. More responsive and now with the new NS-3 fluid, it can resist more heat and last longer.
I HATE that this interior is not in the SR. The SV Exterior styling is so ugly but the interior is amazing. Sentra SR exterior looks great but the interior is so bland.
The exterior of sv is almost the same minus a spoiler, wheels and the led fog lights. I would definitely not call it ugly. This interior is so much better.
this interior definitely should have been in the SR I hate the rims on the SV SO I wouldnt want that one. I definitely would want an SR with this interior
@@xavierjones9777 i had a 17 and yes it has windnoise but its very low. Driving at 70mph you barely hear windnoise. Its not obtrusive or anything you would call high windnoise.

@@BoopSnoot Nothing you just said makes sense there’s no such thing as SR premium
@@MiggyCR Yeah there is, the title of the video should have given it away. The "Premium Package" is available on either trim.

Well said - Nissan made the new Sentra the most competitive it's ever been in this class.
Such a pleasure sometimes to watch a test drive without tons of goofy comments and jokes. Thank you.
You’re welcome!
i cannot believe this is my first official car 😭😭😭
That's a Sentra?????? It's wayyyy too nice!

Nissan really stepped it up with this generation Sentra
Are you guys serious this thing is slow and mpg suck

Best looking car in the segment. Now just give it a turbo and more interior colors.

Wow! Love the interior of this. Looks very premium
Just got one today 🙏💯🔥 Same interior
Congratulations! Great little sedan
I'm picking mine up this wednsday
Love the interior
So much better than the previous generation!
Agreed, this is finally a real competitor for the Civic and Corolla (and still more affordable).
That's easy when the bottom cars are slow and dont get very good mpg. Manufacturers aren't innovating but they will soon.

With gas prices skyrocketing the "sport mode" might be used sparingly haha

Beautiful car. I’m hearing road noise. Can you confirm. Thanks.
You do hear a bit of road noise, yes. Though, for a mainstream compact sedan, the cabin volume is modest
Lil too much road noise coming in
Because you can tell that from headphones? Different mics pick up frequencies differently.
Plus, Driving extremely too fast.

Where u recorded it?

Nice but the color of the interior doesn't match the exterior at all. Who's the color coordinated that pick this color combo? LOL
I agree that a different exterior color would make a better contrast - perhaps blue or black
