If a child at age 5 is making claims of being “Trans” someone should be very concerned what that child has been exposed to. That’s just common sense. Conversations of gender identity cannot be separated from Sex and that is NOT something that 5 year olds should be exposed to.

Not letting parents know that something as controversial as this is being taught to their children is wrong whether the kids are in kindergarten or a Senior in high school. Children are not “it’s”. Nobody “encourages” a trans kid to transition. They just have compassion and empathy and try to understand them. This is why my child is homeschooled. They're doing too much and you can't undo something like that. Some thing's kids should only be exposed to if they personally are struggling with it or they are in college. Kids need to be allowed to be kids and all the extra needs to stop. My son is 4. He told me he wanted to be a girl because he wanted the girls toys. Nothing about my kid is girly. He just wanted ALL the toys. I told him he was being selfish and needed to accept that other kids need toys too. As soon as he realized he wasn't getting every toy he saw he's back to all boy. Dysphoria is a lousy thing to go through. Forty years of fighting for safety - every child matters. We need to decide as a society, do we want to educate our children, or do we want to indoctrinate them? The default adult position is to leave kids alone. Allow them to have a childhood. Respect where they're at in the world, and make sure they are surrounded by caring people who understand what is age appropriate, and what isn't. Genuine gender dysphoria is actually an extremely rare occurrence, scientifically researched to be as little as .03% of a given population. In a large city, that percentage is a lot of people. I was profiled and attacked before I even walked in the building....and I saw the same thing happen to many others. The school had a turnaround in numbers three times. The principal lied, attacked, pushed a leftist agenda....I saw it happen over and over to teachers around me.....and when it happened to me I did my best for the students.....many of whom saw seven teachers in their classroom come and go in an academic year.....and then that was the end....in a district that really could have cared less..... because the bottom line is most of these districts could care less about the teachers.....and they certainly do not care about the children.

This is why my child is homeschooled. They're doing too much and you can't undo something like that. Some thing's kids should only be exposed to if they personally are struggling with it or they are in college. Kids need to be allowed to be kids and all the extra needs to stop. My son is 4. He told me he wanted to be a girl because he wanted the girls toys. Nothing about my kid is girly. He just wanted ALL the toys. I told him he was being selfish and needed to accept that other kids need toys too. As soon as he realized he wasn't getting every toy he saw he's back to all boy. Parents need to deal with this so hurting kids get the help they need and kids like mine get the loving rebuke they need. You're right they should just teach about engkush, maths and jesus.
If a Kinder child asks questions about religion or sex or gender, the teacher's response should be "Timmy, as a public school teacher, I am not allowed to discuss those topics with you. Those are questions that your should discuss with your parents." Easy. How hard is that? Teacher should be fined or fired who goes outside of those guidelines.
Because of one confused child, we have to confuse thousands more?
Just goes to show you teachers can say whatever they want. We should be so aware and cautious with who and what our kids are being subjected to when we aren't around.

Kids would have a better education at home watching kids Netflix and doing their schooling online or with a private tutor. If the public education has really gone this far, then the time has come for kids to be pulled out of school. I was pulled out of school at the beginning of my 6th grade because the principal refused to punish a bunch of kids, that were disrespecting school property, because the kids threatened the principal that if she did punish them that they would wreck her "precious vehicle". My mom hated that and pulled me and my older and younger sister all out of public school.
In Mexico the kids would've laughed at the teacher, and then at the principal. Next day you would have both kid and parents laughing at both teacher and principal still XD
This was a stupid decision by a kindergarten teacher. Totally inappropriate.

We need to decide as a society, do we want to educate our children, or do we want to indoctrinate them?
The default adult position is to leave kids alone. Allow them to have a childhood. Respect where they're at in the world, and make sure they are surrounded by caring people who understand what is age appropriate, and what isn't.
Genuine gender dysphoria is actually an extremely rare occurrence, scientifically researched to be as little as .03% of a given population.
In a large city, that percentage is a lot of people.

They need to have a permission slip signed by the parents in order to get taught about any of this garbage it shouldn't be up to the teacher to decide what our kids learn especially all these super sensitive teachers like this one. Would they like it of they're kids were taught in school something that went against their beliefs?

She went too far. She should've at least sent the kids home with a permission slip and if they didn't get permission, then the students would not go to class that day or something. You are teacher and have authority over my child, but you don't have more authority than me and my child's father over our child. If it comes to this point, I'm seriously considering homeschooling.

Not only has it been leftists pushing to ban certain books, but conservatives are not in favor of banning books of any kind. We simply take issue with when material is appropriate for children, and if it’s the school’s right to teach children about potentially heavy and confusing topics. We don’t want those books banned. We just don’t want them read the 6 year olds.
