I think your message in the beginning was so considerate. We have all made some silly things in respect of skincare in our early 20s. I used to think that Clarins and Estee Lauder had the best skincare products 😅 by the way what's your opinion on pure shea butter for the body, hands and lips? The Body Shop is selling it and I thought it would be good.
Susan, could you please react to Lisa Eldredge routine on Harper's? I think it'd be great to hear your thoughts on older celebrity/ guest's skincare. 🤷♀️
What are you supposed to use as make up remover? I used to use makeup wipes and now I just use coconut oil because I mainly wear eye makeup and I find it quite effective. I used micellar water once and it was kinda irritating and it wasn’t as effective as coconut oil. Shouldn’t it be fine if I clean it out with my facial soap because soap is supposed to get rid of the oil right?
Hi Susan! I did a little digging and found a picture of the back of the "Anti-Stress Serum" bottle; ingredients are as follows: Grapeseed oil, pomegranate seed oil, Argan oil, Baobab seed oil, beta carotene, turmeric, jojoba seed oil, and Borage seed oil. All ingredients are organic. Hope that helps!
“21 and you should have beautiful plump bouncy resilient skin” *me sitting over here being 22 and have horrible cystic acne as soon as i turned 20 crying eveRY DAY LMAO*
Omg me too. I tend to turn on the tap, catch some water in my hand, turn off the tap rinse and repeat. So I'm always freaked out when I hear the water running like that🤦🏾♀️
omg yes!! like that's such a waste. She should really consider turning it off and start thinking more about what that is doing to the planet. No hate tho, it just really hurt to watch.
the brand of that product is Truly Beauty and is just sold at urban, not made by urban! It's also sold at Ulta and their ingredients are actually really good :)
To be completely honest she has a terrible skincare routine. Unfortunately, there are quite a few people her age or even younger will watch this and think this is what you should use. She’s got the concept of someone who thinks they can eat anything because there thin.

Hi Susan you should definitely do a reaction and thoughts on Jessica Alba’s new go to bed with me on harpers bizarre, I really want to know about her routine and if it’s good
It's recommended to use antiperspirant at night or before bedtime so that your armpits can absorb the aluminum or chemicals that will block the sweat glands. If you use them during the day or time when you'll be sweating like before working out, your sweat will just wash away your antiperspirant. That's why you can get a lot of those white or yellow stains on your clothes.
@@serenelabrisa8799 I was the same. My eyes regularly itch and burn, so I would rub them. And then pull my eyelid taught to put eyeliner on. I'm paying for it now!!

Agreed. I ALWAYS apply before bed. I have a spare that stays on my nightstand so nights I forget before I leave the bathroom I don’t have to get out of bed to do it😂
I love how Susan is trying to be very sensitive and nice, because I bet you she really wants to reach out and get through to Madison to help her with her skincare

Yes I used makeup wipes for years up until like a year ago . whenever I discovered hyram and u I immediately quite using makeup wipes and I have taken my time to research and finally see a dermatologist, now im on this skin journey to clear my scars and really take care of my skin now that im gettinf older and have a child . Im 22 BTW. So i used makeup wipes for literally years and when I say that I cringe and wanna cry 🙃🥴
so the ‘anti stress’ serum is by truly organics and i’m pretty sure this brand slaps their label on premade products. pretty sure they had a class action against them because there actually isn’t anything organic in there and they go by “truly” now. that’s if this is the same brand. no bs beauty has a video or two about them.
I am 23 and I have very sensitive and reactive skin (and eyes). Does it mean that I did something wrong, or can it be genetics???? I think it is worse than before. But overall my skin is healthy now, I just have to be careful with the products I use because many things make my skin burn

Hello! Do you have any recommendations for SUPER affordable eye creams that help with fine lines and wrinkles and puffiness? Or as an alternative, can you use the cerave moisturizer on your eyes as an eye cream? Or is the skin under your eyes too sensitive? I really trust your opinion so thank you!
Idk if a lot of people know this but if u want the antiperspirant benefits of a deodorant that is antiperspirant u have to put it on before bed bc it takes 6-12 hours to actually get in and control the sweat. So putting it on at night will actually be recommended by your derm if ur worried about sweat. :)
the paula's choice retinol serum and the ordinary 0.5 in squalane are great options. Start of slowly and be patient. You may experience peeling and purging but it will be worth it. Make sure to use it only at night and wear enough spf in the morning.

@@nashreennadzmi6122 if you have never used retinol before with super sensitive skin maybe... but it really isn't the best option. I don't see how that could help but a topical acid, like the Ordinary glycolic acid, can help. Using the antiperspirant before bed is actually ideal, though. Dr. Dray and Dr. Sandra Lee both recommended it.
