raw performance of a godly track
So fucking awesome. I asked Mårten in 2007 if they were gonna play this at the show I was at, he laughed and said it was "too old". Sad no one will get to see this live again...
Haha. I like how Kidman goes around screaming. Great feeling.
can't get enough of this fuckin band
6:17 Jens says this next song (Sane) is off our new record True Human Design which is actually now Chaosphere. I never knew they went with a different name for the album. Very cool!
Much Respect for posting these Coder2k.
Thank you!
This is great but could you include song titles in the titles of these amazing clips? Or alongside the links in the description. What an awesome video, thanks for posting!
Thank you so much for this upload
DAT SNARE AT THE START
fuckin right i didnt even know there was more videos , ive only seen the sickening and future vid of this gig , cheers
@HearthERB dude, it was on the live dvd. looks like they started playing it again
from meshuggah's website:
both gutiarists use: Fractal Audio Axe-Fx Ultra, Line6 Vetta II
no info about the bass guitar, but I don't think he's using a recto...they all like using modelling stuff live.
goddamn they are so fucking good
indeed!
whoever filmed this and uploaded it must of been rich in the 90s xD
@MethCircuS My post was a little misleading. Of course I know the songs. What I meant was, when you see them listed on the right side of the screen under "suggestions", the full file names don;t get displayed, and you can't tell at a glance what song it is. I just meant put the titles closer to the beginning so that you can see easily which song you are clicking on.
@coder2k Again, your clips are fantastic, I'm just offereing a tiny suggestion.
@dablacksolja They used dual rectos up until after Chaosphere.
@ifutureman I hope it's clear to you that's it's an absolute shame not to watch all the clips in a row, so the titles don't matter ;-)
Seriously: Perhaps I gonna change it, thanks for the suggestion ;-)
@coder2k OK fair enough, I should have been more specific... what I meant to say was, could you put the full track list in your "description", so that we can quickly see which song corresponds to each link? Since the song titles only appear at the END of the full clip title, you have to scroll the cursor over each link in the "suggestion" column and wait to see which song it is. Maybe just re-title your clips like "Meshuggah - Humiliative (Live in Springfield '98 - part 1 of 8).
@ifutureman ? The song titles ARE included in the titles of the videos.
@HearthERB
really? saw them in Moscow, they played this song, nobody expected it
fuckyes.
@ifutureman man you should know the names already
Interesting.....OK,I'm old,I don;t know shit about downtuning guitars,so they sound like a Bass with distortion, but I understood Pantera[once Phil shaved his head]and I kinda got Korn, when they had 2 downtuned Ibanez 7 strings, and a Trebly Bass[with incredible riffs]but everytime I see/hear these guys,I kinda wish the Singer[?] would not express himself vocally SO OFTEN?
Maybe I'm too used to listening to Layne Staley sing, and I expect the verse's/chorus to end, with a BREAK at some stage?
What's that music playing in the background before the song starts?
