Howdy! Join the group and get the FIIRE template here: radicalyt.com/howdy/
I definitely went to a cabin to take photos of logs and kindling to make the above 😂. The camp host was so confused when he saw me selecting "perfect" wood and snapping pics of it. It's what we do for content I guess haha!

Hey, it was effective! There's a reason why artists (even videographers) are considered the weirdos of the world lol. I'd never heard of your channel before, but definitely came for the metaphor and stayed for the visuals (and that hair...so jealous of that hair). I appreciate this amazing video. This is the best method I've seen for really organizing and keeping on track your content/channel planning and it really clicked with me better than anything else I've seen (and I've been obsessively studying these types of videos for several years now). Brilliant! Thank you so much for this. You really got me...fiired up...ugh, ok, that was terrible, but you started it!

Nate, I have posted just over 350 videos and counting and been with this whole UA-cam journey for over 3 years now and I am ALMOST at 10k subscribers. Growing in a not so popular (since 2016 or so) nice is making it tough, but I have not and will not give up! Videos like these with advice that is actually AMAZING just makes each step that much easier to reach. I have videos with over 100k views and shorts with over 150k views but just can't seem to find out the process in which I was obtaining those numbers.
I will report back in a month or two with results from applying these tips!

I love your approach! I get so bored and frustrated with the "change the word algorithm for audience!" Stance
Yes, we all want to keep the audience happy. But the algorithm decides who has access to the audience.
For a newby like me, improvements to my videos, titles and thumbnails are only seen if the algorithm provides impressions!
The irony is that "replace the word Algorithm for Audience" is catering to the Algorithm's needs not the audiences!
Feel better for getting that off my chest! Have been binge watching you videos.
As long as you don't start making fake live evergreen webinars, i will be sticking around! You know those outdated recordings where we have to suffer 10 minutes of the host excitedly welcoming the "live" attendees from around the world and being asked to put a 1 in the comments to show it's live (not)!
You are a welcome breath of fresh air!

Hey Nate! Your videos help me build my Hungarian UFO & ASMR channels (the 2nd is a separate account). I implemented many of your advices and they seem to work. However, I've found it very useful NOT to monitor my Hungarian competitors. I consume crazy amount of English content both in the UFO and in the ASMR field. And because of the international competition, the quality there is high. But Hungary with its 10 million people and its unique language is a much smaller "campground", not to mention: both topics are really in the niche category. Whenever I bump into a Hungarian UFO podcaster or ASMR artist, I see how low the quality is. This makes me very sad on one level, but very hopeful on another. I think as long as I try to be as good as the UA-cam content creators I follow in the international scene, I have better shot then to let myself be dragged down by the Hungarian swamp. Sorry, I know this sounds horrible, but that's how I see it. Also, I don't want to know what topics they have covered, what trends they follow -- I don't want to be influenced in my choices and decisions. I follow the international lead and my own instincts. I feel this is how I can grow and succeed. What do you think?

Pretty much did all this, except collaborate bc while im in a rather popular niche, there's little competition out there currently. Now I know why... somehow the algorithm just hates it, despite people loving it. So I eventually had to give up on a channel people loved, where i got the clicks, the AVD is high, I get near 100% likes and the subs grow like crazy per 1k views. But without getting the impressions from the algorithm I still get nowhere and there's nothing i can do about it :(
So that's the end of youtube for us.

this is dense, and helpful BUT it would make so much more sense if you did another video where you use a channel as an example from start to finish. it couldbe fake but examples might be helpful .. you had some but i need to see it conceptually build in one example.

I believe what I'm doing right now, is making Tinder and Sparks at the wrong campsite... Maybe?
So, I used to do Music Education and talk about Music Equipment, but I pivoted into my music creation now.
Nevertheless, I'm doing my best right now to over-throw the amount of educational videos that I have on my channel currently, so the new audience that sticks will see me creating music, and like me for that.

Hi Nate! I was filling out the template as I watched your video. Some of it was a little hard for me to totally understand, but I'll keep working at it. But I think the part on analyzing other channels for their sparks, tinder, kindling, etc. will make it even more clear. I guess I can compare it to the advice you've given in the past on drafting against other channels, but I can also see that here, you're looking at what makes a creator really stand out as unique and that's how we need to shape our content, too. Am I kind of getting it? BTW, I sent you a video idea, too. Hope you like it!
