The CZ is purely for holding a close angle on a save round with the objective of quickly snagging an enemies weapon.
Yeah, that’s how I play. Also I’m bad player with poor accuracy and reaction, I tried all pistons and I get most success with CZ in close distance

I still think taking a tec-9 or dualies that you can drop to your team on a save if you are doubled is better than taking a cz in the pistol loadout
The CZ is surprisingly good. It may not be a pocket AK anymore, but it's comparable to a pocket UMP-45. You have such a fast ttk with this thing and it costs a quarter of an smg. On eco rounds, this thing frees some money to buy more utilities which allows you to better use this gun as it's intended role as temporary firepower. The ammo pool is not as big of an issue considering your optimum engagement range is very close to your enemy and it's easier for you to just pick up their gun after you've sprayed them.
@@thomasmarshall7570 big problem with the tec-9 / dualies is that they're semi-auto only with awkward firerates. Pistols works best as precision weapons where you take your time to aim for the head, which leaves you at a massive disadvantage against people who could spray you down in half a second. The CZ's full auto is a bit of an equalizer in that regard, I've very often out dps'd AKs and Mac-10s at close range with the CZ.
AUG and SG actually have benefits as stopgap AWPs due to the new MR12 system, which makes each round more important than ever before, and expensive buys become way more risky.
I love the AUG and the Krieg and I’ll always use it if I can afford it over the M4’s or the AK

Kinda surprised you put the AUG and SG in Better Options. Their use when up a lot at IEM Sydney and been seeing a lot of Pros use them on stream, since they are much easier to spray with and also blow out smokes more then the AK/M4 if you want to play around that mechanic, especially if you play longer range angles.

@@nimenea The price wasn't the problem for the SCAR, which isn't more powerful then the cheap R8. We are talking about only $200/$300 more than M4/AK, which means only ~10% for a little scope on top. The SG can also instant kill like the AK, fire rate has just been nerfed.
@@nimenea the sg have 100% armour penetration, and has a better 1 shot range than the ak, has an easier spray patern and the only cons are the price, the move speed and the fire rate, so while I agree that the ak is the better option, this weapon still deserves a top tier spot, the aug goes in great, at worse in decent, I dont know why is so much worse than the sg
With loadout system existing, i really hope they buff the weapons that were basically bought as a meme. Id like every gun to have a reason to be in the loadout
tbh I don't care, but it's super annoying to don't use my skins, especially on Arms Race.

The autoshotgun is a F*CKING NIGHTMARE to go against in CS2 rn bro. I lost to a team of enemies who all only bought the autoshotty and sat in corners on Inferno we literally could not do shit

The auto shotgun is surprisingly good
Its probably the only shotgun that is good on T side (in the bomb defusal gamemode) because of its longer range and faster firerate
@@pingodegonha the sawed off is also good specifically when you're holding an entrance, I.E. squeaky on Nuke or top mid on Inferno (no idea why you would hold Inferno top mid as a T but still)

SMGs and shotgun pays a lot of the AWP every round if you kill one or two. xm1014 has a really good headshot distance
Good list overall. I will say CZ is AMAZING for what its designed for - Save round camping in cheeky corners to get a quick reliable close range kill and steal your enemies weapon. Niche use case but still very reliable way to get a weapon and win on a save.
Aug/SG are good too. The scope and the 2 shot kill with a headshot is very good (1 with SG). Scopes on assault rifles are downplayed. Better target acquisition compared to hipfire is way better than people realize IMO.
Cz75 is the auto Zeus for people afraid to hit their one shot
@@StriderPF Nah, you can still not be at the incorrect range for the zeus in many situations. Most reliable, easiest way to get a free gun on save is CZ. Its not about being afraid, its about the easiest, most reliable way to do the task - Get an early save round kill and get a gun.
The same argument applies to the Five Seven and the Tec 9 though. Both can one tap headshot at close range and give you more money and are more reliable than the CZ if you don't get the chance to steal that gun.
@@thomasstewart1380 I'd argue against that too. You still have to line up a headshot and its semi-auto, so if you aim wrong and they move out of it its harder. The CZ is full auto and forgiving, easier to get those cheeky corner kill saves.
That's the whole point, its utility is in its higher chance of a kill because of how it works. If you want to remove risk of failure for getting a save round kill/gun its a great choice. I'm not saying its objectively better, the guns you mentioned are better all rounders, just saying its use case is there and I don;'t think it belongs at the bottom because for what it does its very useful.
I would say that revolver has some potential. It's quite accurate while running and left click, it's basically a pocket scout for 600$. It's kinde weird but if I want to buy an autoshotty on T side I would add a revolver as more ranged option (but
i can also pay 800$ less and get my beloved galil with Stattrak but that's another story and sometimes you want to have fun). So it's not that bad as T side option but more playtime is required I guess for a proper conclusion
I buy five seven or p250 as my awp secondary but lets be real the auto shotty doesn’t need a secondary it is the long range gun

@@Chasodey if you rush mid with an auto shotty you don't have to worry about range. The punch that the M10 does to players when hit is enough to throw off their aim while you close the distance. And then you're close range with the auto shotty so they are most likely done for.
nah he severely under-rates the Aug and sg553. Both weapons have the accuracy of an AWP, or better in terms of grouping and the added bonus of zoom at range and CQB mode. Versus other rifle users, aug and sg553 win out every time (Smashes AK and the commonly used M4A1-S.
Unzoomed both rifles adopt the fire rate and accuracy of an smg with the damage of a rifle, which in CQB is insane.
The SG553 has better armour penetration and damage overall, and is more useable on offense. most people don't know this but it preserves its' accuracy unzoomed and with a higher fire rate, so you can utilize it like an AK but with far more utiility. The only thing you lose to at range in a straight up firefight is an AWP at long range...which is fair.
Pro play has seen a resurgence in the use of the SG553 *and* aug. The only reason not to pick it is if you can't afford utility. I.e. buying an AK and flash or smoke is better than an SG, but if you have the cash to splash or a team strategy planned out that doesn't require you to buy utility that round, the AUG and SG553 are the better choice over any other rifle. Seriously.
Finally, he's wrong about the spray pattern. It's *different* from other rifle patterns, but for the SG553 and AUG, the recoil pattern is EASIER to learn and more straight up and down as opposed to the 'z' shape spray pattern of other rifles. Learn it and you will win close and medium range spray battles as it is more accurised with a closer grouping...
All in all, I agree with most of what he said, but...
He's dead wrong about the AUG and SG553.
Oh and SCAR is extremely strong on ct, culture be damned if you're losing that thing stomps.
2 tapping with P250 is so satisfying.
I don't know why people are shitting on the UMP-45, Imho it's one of the best SMG's in the game. It costs less than an MP9, you get a budget AR basically. High damage, high armor penetration, and even with the nerf, it has way better range than any other SMG's in the game. On top of that the recoil is very manageable as well... For the price and the value you get, I would definitely put it higher than even a P90...
It doesn't have better range and the price you talking about is after the video was made...
It has nice damage, but it also has a painfully slow fire rate, mp9 will farm you most of the time, plus they can move almost freely, i'm a fan of UMP, but gaben isn't.

SG 553 is just situational, it's better at range and bruh the aug is also good, it's very controllable you get 30 rounds in the mag, it's extremely precise while scoped in and you also get that tazer range one-shot headshot kill potential, it's kinda like mixing the m4a4 and m4a1-s (with the exeption of the scope) you get the precision and firerate of the m4a1-s, but you get a 30 round magazine and also i forgot that it can kill and armored opponent in 4 shots at mid range
With the criteria you set in the list, the AWP should move down to great as crazy as that sounds. With the move to MR12 the gun is a far more risky investment, if you get killed with it and give it to the other team that's pretty much 4-6 rounds that's thrown. That's not to mention all the nerfs it received over the years since they moved away from MR12 the first time. In the same vein I think the M4A1-S should be moved to top tier, sure it obviously isn't as good as the AK and good players will grab a AK whenever they can over it, but this is taking the buying into account. If you are serious about winning the round and have enough money to full buy there is no better option than it on the CT side at all, what else would you call top tier over it?

negev is very op, i would place it S Tier, cheap, good firing thru smokes, fast shooting, also pretty nice accuracy while moving with shift and shooting.
I'd put M4 on the top, and SG and AUG too. These are all sort of the "gold standard" of primaries, and have been for a good while in the genre. M4 is just different than AK, but I find it easier to use the M4 in game.
I have the scout in my loadout only for one reason. Once i did a double headshot in dust II while I wasn't looking because I was talking to my brother with the scout.

SG hasn't been meta since they nerfed it's fire rate. That thing was insane when it shot at 666rpm but everyone was too elitist to use it.

CZ is great if u use it for its intended purpose, playing a close corner and then stealing a free gun
I can't agree with is the MAG-7 being in the same tier as the XM. The x2.5 fire rate and lower damage falloff you get for 200$ more makes it a bit redundant. Simple has been doing some ridiculous things with it as of late. And scoped rifles have been proven in pro play to be useful outside of more than niche situations, an example being the Negev, which is in a higher tier than those rifles. The point you made about using the auto on T side was very astute and out of the box thinking since they're essentially the same gun, so I've removed that from my T loadout for sure. Aside from that I completely agree with the list. If you do a remake of the video perhaps you could go into specifics about the use cases for the guns and their characteristics in more detail.
Mp5 being in awful is very untrue, it's accuracy is crazy good especially if you hit headshots
SG553 is pretty good, tbh. It's like an AK with a scope. It's a one shot headshot and if you're good with an awp, you'll prob. be as good with an SG than an AK imo.
CS2 noob here and do not understand why I always start with a pistol and get slaughtered by AUG, AK-47, etc. I believe all levels should be tiered so everyone has the same chance and may the best shooter win. I have ZERO chance in the game and no time to learn a new rifle while running for my life. So all of us with pea shooters are just sheep waiting for the grim reaper.
Between you and me, if you win the first round use the Bizon on the second round, easiest way to get an ace. Enemy team likely won't have much armor and the bizon has the mag capacity to mow down the whole team without ever having to reload. It's one of my favorite guns only because of this second round strat.

It doesn't need a buff. You kill one guy with its first mag and you take that guy's gun. That is this pistol's sole purpose.
bro did my kreig and scout dirty. clearly a skill issue, given that the AUG is above the kreig in spite of not having a one-tap headshot, doesnt have 100% armor penetration, and costs way too much especially on the budget conscious CT side. For galil 4 round burst one taps, I don’t really rely on my primary just for everything since I can go for Molotov smoke and flashbang to help the galil out

Famas - There are better options just because how broken SMGs are in CS2 currently.
MP5 - There are better options and I personally dislike the MP5. Feels like a marshmallow shooter but it can be used to spam smokes and doesn't have that much recoil so it's pretty easy to use.
Nova - Decent based on how good of a range it has.
Bizon - There are better options, only reason it's not awful is due to the ammo capacity.
Scar - There are better options because most of the time the user gets overrun and then the Ts have it for the retake.
Scout - Top tier for chip damage on half buys and with decent aim easily can put a team down.

None of the stuff you mentioned in Awful is even in my load out lol, totally agree. The SG553 is a little better than this though, the zoom really helps in holding spots from a distance on D for a lot less than the awp.

No one gives a shit if you use the auto snipers, only the enemy team is going to be pissed at you because they got mowed down, equip the ct auto sniper and just win overtimes 9/10 times

@@StriderPF Maybe in regular mm people complain but in premier ive used it lots of times and no one from my team ever complained, winning is winning right? You can solo defend most single entrance sites really effectively and 4 stack the other site

Ngl I think auto sniper is better than the AWP since the magazine is huge, can two shot to the body at any range and its kill reward is thrice as high so it’s not actually more damaging to your economy. If you’re on the CT side, the T’s are also very unlikely to take it if you die unlike with an AWP where they’re extremely likely to take it.
SG553 should be in Great or end of top tier, no questions. AUG is good where it is.
I see very few kriegs and a few augs in katowice and the rmr, T economy is much stronger so budget awps arent necessary

If you learn to use the FAMAS well, it can be extremely dangerous. Still not better than an M4A1 though.

Nova = corner peek style, aim around the neck
Sawed off = ambush/lurker, hold those angles real close and switch it up
Autoshotty = can do just about everything. Dont be afraid to send it down range
Mag7 = i dont get it. Point blanc to the head and chest... 40dmg and it happens way too often

Ive been hit for 80 in 2 shots from top mid in mirage by the auto shotgun, shotguns are insanely good in cs2
I like cz because I’m bad player so I just try to engage enemies on corners in close distance and spread entire mag on them, if I survive two engagements I can take their weapon.
Tried the PP Bizon and it's honestly a stupid version of AK-47. "PP Blyat" would be more appropriate.
AUG and especially SG should be in great. It's naysayers who underrate it now.

Honestly shit list. This is CS2 not CSGO. First off the CZ has incredible running accuracy in this game for some reason, still not better than the five seven and tec but definitely not dogshit. The two scoped rifles, aug and sg are actually very good in this game currently due to being able to see thru smokes very effectively. The pro’s are using them more and more because of this. Also due to sprays being totally fucked rn tapping can yield better results than in GO. Which unsurprisingly is better when you have a scope. Finally I would say the glock and p2000 are at least on par with the USP. I cant tell you how many times ive won or lost pistol round because the glock feels so much better in this game on pistol rounds. Same goes for p2000, the USP just doesnt feel as crispy as csgo.

id say the m4a4 is better, but its top great and the m4a1 is bottom top-tier because of the accuracy, the silencer and the recoil. its just soo goddam easy to use, and its cheaper. m4a4 is much higher skillcap

CS2 AK is F tier. The RNG spread seems even worse in this game than it was in CSGO. The amount of crouched one taps I've missed because of a dice roll is infuriating.

why would you use the nova on t side when the mac 1 costs the same and is a muh better option. if anything if you want you can take a risk on ct side after losing pistol round and spend all your money on armor and a shotgun. it's a high risk high reward because if you get 1 kill you only lost $150. besides shotguns are better used from defensive positions except the autoshotty which you can kind of run and gun with. just dont expect to get a kill from long.
m4a4 and m4a1 is personal preference
you say something wrong, the mag7 can easy 1 shot people to the body with armor if they close, if you accurate and hit all pellet, its will be 1 shot body
with 0.45 range modifier you have to be basically on top of them
@@StriderPF not really, i killed 3 guys in the ladder in a app inferno with all body shot, that about the headshot range of a five seven and its still 1 shot, but anyway better to headshot with it
