Thanks for posting this I'm picking up my panigale on the first of April and then looking forward to doing this myself. I've been waiting for someone to post something like this.
The Termignoni has instructions on how to remove the OEM Exhaust, servo motor and bowden cable. I removed the whole flapper valve assembly to have better flow, better sound and to reduce heat. After installing the Termignoni Exhaust i did the up-map and no light or codes came up.
Hi Slamy A, thanks for posting your video on installing a Termignoni silencer set on Panigale. Very helpful to me. One thing unclear however: how to remove the axle on which the flapper valve is mounted. Appreciate any help / tips. Cheers.Erik
Since you removed the whole servo motor and flapper valve, did you get a code on the dash? Or a engine light or do you have something that bypasses it? Great instructions btw.
Question, on my 2014 1199, the flapper valve remains in the open position by default when I take off the servo motor. Do I still need to take the flapper valve assembly off?, or can I just leave it in the open position and continue with the install? Thanks
Check out the sound of my Ducati Panigale with my new video. You can bring back the mid range torque if you upgrade your sprocket. The heat is coming from the vertical cylinder and the rear exhaust manifold if you drive the bike at low speeds (15 to 20 MPH) depending on the climate. Removing the flapper valve gives you a better flowing exhaust and reduces heat.
