Battery leads upgrade is a must .
My throttle spacers made a massive difference today! 😎
A must have mod!
Best thing I found for my 899 panigale is a Rapidbike evo for my ecu it makes it purr like a kitten .ps those spacers are really a must have for all that throttle slop
Not tried the Rapidbike but heard some good reviews - anything that smooths things out is perfect for these big twins.
Hi im interested on buying a new bike what would u recommend as the better bike and the most fun my last bike was a 899 so the 1199 or 1299 or rsv4
The 1299 is a better bike than the 1199. What you choose depends on your riding. On the road, the most fun would be a Tuono if going Aprilia. Ducati streetfighter if you have the ££££. As a sportsbike, its whatever makes you feel best, both are brilliant!
I know this has already been asked but I’ve snapped the left lock stop. These R&G lock stops - do they act as a replacement?? I’ve looked at the fork mounted ones.
They don't allow the steering lock to be used when fitted - that's where we got to last time this was discussed. Are you in the UK? If so, I believe they will get you through the MOT.
@@producsmachina4991 great that’s exactly what I need to understand - they are a direct replacement. So it’s a MOT fail aswell if there snapped...😬 thank god for these stops then. I did look at the yoke clamp ones but these are a lot cheaper. When fitted how much does it restrict the turning circle? Also gonna add the spacers in the new year!!
It doesn't limit the steering lock by too much, its never been a problem for me for the last couple of years. The spacers are a must! 👍
Hi,the lock stop from R&G,they are only for the track right?
For a day to day use,I couldn’t lock the steering.
Let me know.
Thanks
The steering lock itself is via pins that lock the top yoke, one each side near the ignition barrel. You should still be able to put the steering lock on with the R&G items. Hopw that helps 👍🏼
ProDucs Machina ,to the left side,it can’t be locked, does work to the right side?
Thanks
So no reply,I presume that I’m right & the locks are just for track days..information incorrect then..
The internet suggests you're right, it may limit the total steering lock - I assumed it was due to my cnc racing yokes not being adjusted correctly. Sorry I missed your replies - I only got notified about the first one. Take it easy bud.
