I got scammed by a Facebook ad. Was a shop that was "supposedly" going out of business and selling stuff super cheap. The wares were indeed cheap. But no, it was a scam, and I got robbed.
If something looks too good to be true, it probably is.
Please note: some people WILL be selling 3d printed models for armada as well. This is fine, ain't nothing wrong with homebrew if they advertise it as such, but it could also easily be a scam. Knowing which is which is half the battle.

It's me, someone looking to sell their whole collection that I haven't touched since 2.5.
I haven’t played since they converted to 2.0. I bought the 2.0 update pack for the Imperials and never punched it. I’ve also bought a few more ships like Lando’s Flacon, etc, amd a few old from and a friend moving unloaded a few extra small ships for cheap. I’ve been thinking about unloading my collection but I don’t know how to even go about it so they sit in a box. The ships are Suuuuper cool so I kinda wish I could display them but I’d just about need a dedicated curio cabinet for them. 🤔😎
Some good advice here, seen many games I like get discontinued and fall into the same cycle of false advertising. Once the companies stop protecting their product something else that tend to happen (probably won’t happen for armada/xwing for little longer) is recasted miniatures or knock offs being advertised+sold as the real thing.
And just to be clear I’m not entirely opposed to recasting often the more time that passes the harder and harder it becomes to get the minis, and sometimes you got people jacking prices of things up as it becomes more of a “collector market”, but the false advertising part that is very upsetting/a scam.
The number of players I'm seeing unknowingly buying Chinese knockoffs is frustratingly high. 2 days; it took 2 days before some factory in China started making and selling knockoffs. Just waiting on the first post when they arrive to see how the quality is, if it even arrives.
The secondary market is nuts right now. Scalper prices are absurd right now. Good luck hunting for product that isn’t highway robbery. It’s a shame greed drives so many folks.
It seems here lately that the CSGs and miniature games I get is always shut down. Since I am a Star Wars fan I will keep my x wing models as exactly that…models. Thanks for your feed

I have noticed on Ebay yesterday that a lot of people selling Star Wars X Wing ships closer to what prices were a few weeks ago have tripled the shipping costs.
I’ve been glad to see the amount of Etsy shops etc printing solid proxies to support the game going forward
Great advice Crabbok. The interest in buying Armada is insanely high right now. And when people are willing to put a car payment sized check on a single ship, the blood is in the water for scammers to be extra bold.
Watch out for items listed on Walmart! 😮 I almost ordered some stuff that was out of print. Walmart was a reseller for the item, so I checked their source and the 3rd party did NOT have the items in stock. Buyer beware!
@@crastestpixles5972 it was Flipside Gaming. I checked the site and they had zero stock on the items Walmart was listing.
4:22 Um... I bought a TON of X-Wing and Armada stuff, and legit NEVER PLAYED. So I actually DO have everything NEW IN BOX.
Those of us who buy things, collect, etc... but never get around to using any of it DO ACTUALLY EXIST!
As soon as was announced, I bought load of armada ships on ebay. Got sealed super star destroyer for 100.00 then this week same seller had it 150 upwards. Seen them for nearly 190.
Great content!! The only scam I had to deal with was a scammer posing as a content creator on UA-cam and replying to my comment. They said something vague about winning something. To claim I had to contact them through some other app. No content creator would do this just report the account if you get a reply like this.
I was scammed by a guy selling his "dead son's" PS5 last year. He kept asking for more money to ship the PS5. ALWAYS gi with your gut feelings. If it is too good to be true, then it is fake
Just stopped by a FLGS I haven't visited in years. She still has an entire wall of X-Wing 1.0 ships, dials, and other products, along with some 2.0 items and Armada items. I'm trying to work a deal to get everything because I want them to go to a good home, not get thrown away. The thing is, I don't know how I'd get this stuff TO a good home. I already have everything I need, so keeping it would be a waste. Any ideas?

If you use PayPal as a good pr service the recipient will lose around 3% of what you sent and likely to be upset. So make sure you have an agreement about who covers that extra charge.
Well this sucks to see. I was about to sell off my Armada stuff and now I have to be ready to fight any claims of fraud. Good luck to buyers out there and I hope no one gets taken advantage of.

Scammed and scalped hard right now. Dont pay these robber baron prices lads , the costs for stuff for drop and legitimate items will abound in time.
Its sad because with the new shows, there are new ships that are interesting and wish they were on X-Wing. Running out of content would have never been an issue.
It would be better to purchase from Ebay. You'll be guaranteed with the authentic ships and there's alot more safeguards

Great video! As someone who really wants to buy some Armada ships/squadrons, is there a GOOD trading platform/community you like? eBay looks insane--scalpers like crazy charging $390 for ISDs and inflating prices to 8-10x their MSRP.

well qusten becomes how bad do you need this and how much are you well to risk to get it normaly i only buy on protacked sits like amazon might be temted for some thing spachel but mostly i just say no it not worth the risk wal mart is a nother very good sit but be carfull cuse thay have cookes and tracker that can be a little truble some

Sime shops take money for "preorder" and when I send them mail when expecting they inform me that will be from September to December this year ?!? Sounds unreal after all informations about no more support, selling etc. AMG and Asmodee. Also is interesting about prices so something that was selling for 20$ someone selling for 70$ and someone selling superstar destroyer that was 200$ now selling for 120$ ! Everything is weird now
