@@unger_cnc unfortunately I am actually using it. I am actually getting ok results, but not as good as other people seem to so far. The crisp feel of analog is hard to give up but the clean image and penetration is nice with walksnail. Upsides and downsides but I do like to rip fast tricks a lot, its hard to just cruise around. I actually did a powerloop and it drove straight into the ground, surprised the hell out of me, never done that on analog like that.
@@fearlessflyersfpv420 yeah it’s definitely a change from analog. The more you fly it, the easier it gets. Im running the vrx on the hdzero goggles now and the 100fps mode is much better. Way closer to the feel of analog.

Max range depends on a lot of factors. But the system is capable of 30km range if you have a good noise free flying location and very good patch antennas.
Hdo2 goggles can only support the lower 60fps frame rate in 720p. Did you happen to change that mode in the menu? Also are you getting the hdmi screen? I know there was a time I didn’t know how ti switch the input on the hdo2’s and thought my hdzero vrx didn’t work lol. If that doesn’t work, plugging the vrx into a monitor will help verify you’re getting signal and you can see what settings it’s on.
thanks for all the tips, I didn''t have it set to HDMI on the goggles,, now on HMO I have a blue screen instead lol, I'll do some more fooling around. @@unger_cnc
It will be even better on HDzero google... Fatshark HDO2 is a thing of the past, even Greg French shits on analog, how can we still boast about HDO2?? WS VRX?..Ok, why not...HDO2?..Meeh!..
Only reason I’m excited it works so well is because there’s a LOT of people with analog goggles who fly fpv. This WS VRX is a great option for those who don’t wanna drop $600 on another set of goggles. The vrx is a fraction of the cost to fly digital.
@@unger_cnc I agree that this is a great option for affordability for those who have analog googles, as long as this VRX is on sale at a very advantageous price... But users will be limited to 720P60fps, which is a bit of a shame considering that this VRX offers 720P100fps and 1080P60fps, which an analog googles can not support even the latest generations like HDO2 or SKY04X...
It's a winner because of the cost to entry into the digital fpv market if you already own hdmi capable analog goggles. VTX didn't actually overheat, I was just flying on a day nobody would normally fly. Flew the next day in 6 degrees F and no "VTX Overheating" warning. That bug was the only issue and it didn't even stop me from flying. No black screen or anything.
@@unger_cnc Well, if you have goggles. Walksnail entry is as expensive as DJI or even more expensive. VRX and VTX are $400, good goggles are another $250 or it's best to have HDO2 or SKY04x which is $600 so Walksnail is $650 for the cheapest option with Cobra X goggles and $1000 if you want OLED screens. So far, DJI is winning because you have a secondary market and wanting to enter the digital world, for $ 500 (for example, Goggles V1 and Vista) you have a complete proven system that works. I'm also not saying that Walksnail is evil and don't buy it. At the moment, DJI still wins in terms of price and features if you want to go digital. Also, the test in the video looks paid because everything is wow and whatever happens. There are bugs, something overheated and there was no black screen and it's still a winner on $ 500 goggles and pre-order VTX / VRX for a lower price. I suggest a long range test until it breaks the vision and we'll see how Walksnail behaves. I'll wait for more objective tests.

Hey bro is this any good for HDO V1's ?
I haven’t used the hdo v1 personally so I can’t say for sure. Sorry man!
I have the system too and so far I have not been able to update the vrx and it keeps loosing the channels after unlocked
That’s odd!
@@unger_cnc it is as it says hold the bind button when you see the load up screen but they don't have a load up screen lol but I'm definitely keen to go for a fly soon, cool video, yours is the second iv seen apart from my vid 👍👍
Is the maximum range real?
Max range depends on a lot of factors. But the system is capable of 30km range if you have a good noise free flying location and very good patch antennas.
All I get is black screen on my Hdo2's, any tips?
Hdo2 goggles can only support the lower 60fps frame rate in 720p. Did you happen to change that mode in the menu? Also are you getting the hdmi screen? I know there was a time I didn’t know how ti switch the input on the hdo2’s and thought my hdzero vrx didn’t work lol.
You can try to hold the back button for 10 seconds to see if it reverts back to stock settings.
@@unger_cnc
@@unger_cnc ok got it working thanks again, image is upside down though, gotta flip the camera or the image!
@@fearlessflyersfpv420 that’s great! Glad you figured it out!
If your overheating in this weather, summer may be a nogo.
I don’t think it’s actually over heating. Seems like a software bug
@@unger_cnc Yea, you would think its something like that. Great video bro.
@@justinslaight thanks man
It will be even better on HDzero google...
Walksnail wins but it overheat 🤔
Walksnail wins but it has bugs 🤔
Walksnail wins couse it looks better but its on HDO2 🤔
WTF men 😂
It's a winner because of the cost to entry into the digital fpv market if you already own hdmi capable analog goggles.
Nice dude, greetings team #bckflp
Thanks man!
