BBBBBBBBBBBBBAAAAARRRRRY one of my favorites !!!!! They say Jimmy leaving was ALL of Jerrys fault but it wasn't 100 % Jimmy himself had a big hand in it
The thing with Barry knew when he got in was that he knew you don't mess with a good thing. The Cowboys had won back to back Super Bowls so he wasn't going to replace the coaching staff with his own guys and that he was going to sit behind the scenes and let the coaches do their thing. What the Cowboys needed was discipline which Barry wasn't going to do. He told the players that they weren't 18 to 23 year old kids to be molded, but adults. The thing there were some players like Michael Irvin and Leon Lett that needed that discipline. Sadly that never happened. S by 1997 the team just came apart and went 6-10.
Barry Switzer. A great Man’s Man. A gentleman through and through. Loved people for who they were not the color of their skin.
I never knew his sad story 😢god bless
Him
We all love you Barry 💌🤟
Still the 5th winningest (percentage) coach in major college football history. Only behind greats like Knute Rockne, etc.

Clash of egos, they both argued over who had the credit for the teams success.
@@phillyfan-182Absolutely.
Great guy!!
In a parallel universe, Barry would have likely been the top car salesman in the tri-state area.
To this day, he’s the last head coach who helped the Cowboys win the Super Bowl. Pretty amazing and ironic to think about that 😂
Thank you. please upload more episodes of presents
