It's incredible going back to his debut of this song and seeing how much it's changed since- not to mention how much Sawyer's voice has matured. "Stone" is one of my favorites of his, whether it's the debut version or his newest.

It's so interesting to compare his debut of this song to his later performance at the Palace Theater over a year later. His voice has matured so much, and he takes the song at a slower pace now. I absolutely love both versions, and I'm hoping that eventually I'll be able to buy this on iTunes (one of my favorites of his).

The one thing I hope Swayer doesn't lose is his "Raspy Voice". When he sings the word "stonnnneeee" and his voice vibrates like that I flip out! That is the reason why I listen to his music and what I actually miss when I compare his stage voice to his studio voice.
