this young man is so amazing and way beyond his years ,it is so amazing for him to bring back the classic musicand even too be able too write music, like he does at such a young age, this kid will truly be a legend in his own time, i am 61 yrs. old, and i hope this doesnt offend anyone , but i love this kid's voice and how humble he is,

I absolutely love this, it shows a true musician just needs words, a guitar and his heart. Not songs written for commercialism and a synthesised voice to make them sound like they can sing

I think these 3 lines are very deep for a song... The Soulmate/Twin Soul has hurt you in some way (perhaps in a past life) or in this life by separating from you or running from the relationship for some reason, just as you may have hurt them by your choices, behavior or a separation.

I think here he doesn't want to be a 'runner', he doesn't want to leave the relationship because he or his Twin is afraid of the depth and ardent nature of a love that is centered mainly in the heart (chakra) first, and not the body; and is alot of love and a mission to handle, putting the ego aside for the sake of the relationship, no expectations from the other.

+nunya biznez At the very end he's looking off stage questioning what's happening next. He was given the go-ahead to sing another song. But you're right. I saw him at a live performance where he laughed and looked shy and embarrassed at all the cheering when he walked on stage. It's as if the accolades are something he has to patiently endure to be able to just sing his songs! It's so endearing, I hope he never changes.

What a wonderful song. It puts me in touch with parts of me I lost over past few years because of being abused by a loved one, and this brought tears to my eyes.
Sawyer reminds me of that untainted self who I am trying to find again. I am an artist and empathetic person myself and have known the place where Sawyer's brilliant voice comes from. Move him to Nashville and give him to Blake Shelton. He out does Bob Dylan at this age.& Neil Simon. Blake seems to the only coach to help his winners after the show. Love the show but it doesn't help promote singers like American Idol did
