@user-rj5he9rv4x Julie is not coming home any time soon. Savannah is most likely being misled by the same attorney's, or the same type of attorney's that took $5 Million from them. Anyone that knows the Federal system knows they had less than a .0001% chance. They both could had pled out and got less than 2 years. Their lawyers let them do it for the Millions they were paid. As far as Julie, the court determined that the trial court applied the sentencing guidelines incorrectly due to her not being aware of the fraud before 2007. The most likely senerio is that her sentence is reduced by 6-24 months. I don't see even the slightest pathway for a judge to sentence Julie to anything close to time served. At best, she goes from 84 months (original sentence) to 60 months.
Prayers for your husband’s return! Remember when the people prayed for Peter who was to be executed. Peter walked free from prison seemingly on his own. Savannah turning 30 was waaayyy less stressful than the numbers leading up to it. It was my first birthday since 25 that I was excited about.

I didn’t start trying for kids until I was 29 and I found out I had endometriosis stage 3 at 31. We started the IVF process at 34 and I now have a healthy baby girl and another one on the way. You got this! Don’t let time stress you!

Savannah, I have endometriosis (really bad). I had 2 surgeries to have it lazer burned and was told I would never have kids. I have 3 sons! Keep the faith ✝️

I had endometriosis and had it cauterized and went through infertility treatments and gave birth to twins, and then another one. Do not let anyone say never to you! You have a grace period of a year or so after that surgery to get pregnant. That is what I was told. Find a new doctor!
Keep up the good work Savannah. I know that your parents and siblings are very appreciative of all that you are doing to keep the family together. Your labor is not in vain.

My grandson is 11 and he hasn't seen his mom in almost 8 years (drugs & jail) We do tell him stuff about her now because he hears EVERYTHING !! I just think it's better to be honest with them.

I've always loved the shows, but watching them back to back and watching them AFTER your parents conviction, makes me love y'all even more. I know how appeal going back to the courts is bigger than anyone realizes. I had an appeal and it didn’t go back. This is a good thing no matter what !!
Agree! Don't rush on having kids! No matter your age. You’ll still have options. As an outsider, mental health professional, I’d recommend getting mom settled in first. Take time to re-adjust. Then focus on dad and yourself. You can take time for self care and healing too! You won’t be doing things WITHOUT your dad. You’ll be doing them in a new (but temporary) way. WITH him. Just differently than before. 🙏😭🥰

Savannah, I had to have a total hysterectomy when I was 20 yrs old, I was lucky to have my 2 son's, I had a fibroid cycts the size of a grapefruit. the Dr said I could have bled to death, I am 55 yrs old now, and the doctors are finding the fibroids are from an iodine deficiency. I hope this helps

So yes, her conviction was "thrown out", but there is another one waiting for her right behind it. The appeals court ruled there was no evidence that she was aware of the fraud prior to 2007, unfortunately this is a small period of time, when considering the fraud period in its entirety. I believe she goes from 84 months (original sentence) to no less than 60 months.
It's so infuriating that attorneys would even consider taking a case like this to trial. The attorney(s) most likely convinced Todd he had a 50/50 shot at trial, and it's not until you go to federal prison and see 1,000's of other cases just like yours, along with understanding the federal sentencing guidelines, along with starting to understand the law in general, do you realize you NEVER stood a chance and the actual odds are far, far less than 1% of even a hung jury, let alone being found not guilty.
God is with you and your family, your family is deeply in my prayers.

They have people out serving time on house arrest for murder. But we are locking up & over crowing our prison systems for financial crimes? It breaks my heart. Prison should be reserved for the worst of the worst! Your parents don't deserve to be there. Please be careful surprising Chloe w your mom being home! Talk to her therapist but I feel like surprising her w your mom could lead to her being repeatedly disappointed. She might start to get random thoughts of her dad being home to surprise her that day only to get home and he’s not there :( It could lead to a cycle of her building herself then the disappointment bringing her down :( I could be wrong. I’m not a therapist. But I have raised four children so I’ve been through lots of different things with them. I think it’s a very sweet thought of you to want to surprise her with your mom❤ I wouldn’t have reached out if it was just a matter of your mom coming home. With your dad’s sentence still on the fence and her already on an emotional roller coaster from what you’ve said I just went into mom mode. Good luck! Prayers for your family 🙏

Completely different circumstances, i followed Damien Echols since 1994 ish. Took years when he was finally out of death row prison after 18 years, for him to learn and deal how to live outside of prison. Doesn’t matter how long or why, takes time and much therapy. Always praying
