David brown 996 ploughing and piping slurry with Massey Ferguson 6480

In this video we are spreading slurry with an umbilical pipe and Massey Ferguson 6480, changing the engine oil and injector washers on the David Brown 996 and then ploughing with the David brown and Kverneland 12 inch plough.

996 power steering and a vq cab was probably best of the range in 1977 our local contractor ran a fleet of them back in the day well matched to that plough will pull 3 as easy as 2 with the wheelgrip if you ever do small square bales 996 with the hand clutch is ideal and you can bale with pto in high 540rpm at just under 1200 engine rpm
