- I'll be sharing a lot more videos from my recent African adventure, but here's a first look at the amazing Angama Mara (www.angama.com) accommodations. I stayed a week at this luxury safari experience, right in the heart of the Masai Mara. The camp, featuring these villa-like tents, is perched on an escarpment 1,000 feet above the Mara. From your private deck, you can sit in the rocking chairs, sip your gin and tonic, and watch the wildlife through the provided binoculars. They call it the "rocking chair safari." I enjoyed every minute of the completely bespoke experience, everything is tailored around your wants and needs. You set the agenda for the game drives, you choose the menu and whether you eat in the luxurious central dining room or en-suite.

OMG..The soaking tub did it for me..I’m in love..I visited Kenya for 3 weeks in 2015..The cold showers was traumatic for me since I’m used of really Hot bath tubs..I will be definitely looking into this luxurious stay for my next trip to Kenya..Thanks for the upload

Thanks for watching. Check their website for current pricing. They have three prices: off season, high season and migration time. It's about $1,000 per person, per day, all inclusive.
Am going there next week.....If I may ask are all the tents the same e?and when you pay do you get everything including massages etc
Hey, thanks for watching and wow, that is exciting for you to go there!!! It's amazing, you will love the experience. Yes, I believe all the tents are the same size, maybe a little different style or design. I checked out three and they were all about the same. Everything is included, food, drinks and safaris but I am not sure about massage, check the website or with them. Massage is kind of an extra amentity and most all-inclusive hotels do charge for them. Thanks again for watching and let me know how it was!!

OR-Tambo international Airport in Johannesburg is your arrival point were you can then catch another Shorter Flight to Hoedspruit Airport :
SA Express Airways fly daily to Hoedspruit Airport. Bookings can be made directly with South African Airways, contact by telephone on +27 (11) 978 1111 or via their website at www.flysaa.com. Road transfers can be arranged by Royal Malewane and take approximately 35 minutes in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle.
The Lodge also does Private Charter Flights that will take you directly there from Johannesburg without the hassle of catching a commercial charter flight and being driven . Depends on your preferences.

How much per day per person
The rate depends on the season. It's all inclusive, all food and drinks are included. It's $1250 per person, per night in low season, $2000 per person per night in high season.
Does it have stairs
No stairs but the path connecting it to the lodge is dirt and stones. Check their website to confirm whether the units are considered accessible. Thanks for watching.
