The reason he said that is because in the movie he is trying to leave the game. He has been a boss for a long time and has been running his own empire selling. But he is tired and plans to quit, so he is "trying to moonwalk with elegance". He is trying to walk away peacefully without causing a war.

Just a great movie, very well-written and the cast is phenomenal, and has the customary Guy Richie twists and turns.
