Okay but your complete lack of sympathy for rue proves that you’ve actually got no idea about mental health and drug addiction. You’re like I know drug addictions disease but…… how could you do that to your family “Did you learn nothing from rehab” you contradict yourself. You think she doesn’t feel bad enough already? People who suffer with addiction and mental health are riddled with guilt about what they do to their family and often eat themselves alive about it. but it is a disease! and it’s not as simple as seeing what it does to your family and stopping. (Also in the scene where she’s describing the first time she did drugs and you tell her to just get some “anti-anxiety medication” That’s literally what she was given by the hospital anti anxiety medication (Valium) prescribed to her that’s how she got addicted……)
It's definitely not for everyone. There is a lot of valid criticism to be had about the show, however with Rue's character specifically I think her story is one of the most relatable (for me personally I've ever seen) i mostly watch the show for her tbh

Wait really, I thought everyone in your age group(especially on youtube) had seen some of it and either watched till the end or dropped it at some point. I never got on the train for "Sex Education" "13 Reasons why" "Wednesday" "Stranger Things", which of these have you seen? Do you think its worth getting into? Teen shows I adore are "Faking It", "Suburgatory" and especially "Awkward"

I think it's an eye opener if you don't know anything about drugs. There's a lot of unrealistic stuff too but its interesting

haha yeah well I haven't watched a lot of the shows you mentioned 😅 I watched older shows like Lost and sit-coms like Community and Schitt's Creek !!
