I have never been a cruel person in my life, and I strive to keep my lips shut when abuse occurs in my life, so that I do not upset others. But this time it's difficult to remain cool and not say anything to two individuals who have pressed the hate button on a perfectly qualified video that's spent quite enough time making it and sharing the information with others whose effort to interest in this subject is free. Those two should see a therapist or whatever triggers them to appreciate such enlightening information.

Hello what can be for reducing valve. If port b get low pressure port a works fine but b is so slow.

Hi , hope you are good. Wanted to know your views on Pressure reducing valves. When I checked, seems that they all have internal leakage through their pilot line. I mean , for a pressure reducing valve to work , the pilot line must drain oil to tank.
So if any pressure reducing valve is connected to an accumulator, it will drain the accumulator till the preset pressure is reached and pilot drain flow will stop !
Am I right? Can pressure reducing valves be used with accumulators? For example, can we have a 3 way pressure reducing valve without internal leakage?
Do we have any models of 3 way pressure reducing valves without leakage?
Does leakage happen when valve is off ?
For e.g suppose I have a 3 way proportional pressure reducing valve; when valve is off , output pressure is zero. If this valve is connected to an accumulator, will it drain all accumulator oil little by little? Will leakage occur when valve is off ?
    Thanks.
    Kind Regards.

you said the return line have check valve, so oil do not turns back, how about inlet point, does there also have check valve, or 2 nd line which raise pressure when pump started, and pressure fall down when pump off,
but inlet point pressure gauge zero psi understandable, but if the other point have check valve, why pressure release ans comes to zero psi??????

Very nice very help full thanks.
I want to apply same theory on my excavator.wnats to fix reducing valve but the pump outfit is 400lpm.i want fix reducing valve
And out put I need is 20 to 40 bar.
Please help me out. Also needed one reducing valve.which I can adjust 10 to 40 bar pressure using reducing valve.

It sounds like you will need both a reducing valve and a flow control valve. The reducing valve will control the pressure and the flow control will reduce the LPMs

Thank you for sharing such amazing experiment . could you please tell me what is your pressure reducing valve brand ? how can it readjust pressure without have revealing feetuer ?

    • @KletteTech
      @KletteTech  5 років тому

The brand is Sun Hydraulics. I am not sure of another way to reduce pressure without a reducing valve. Depending on the system the only other method I can think of is to reduce the relief valve. Hope this helps.

I meant to step your reduced pressure down same like how you showed us, you have had pressure reducer with relieving feature. Am i true?

The pressure reducing valve does not relief the access pressure back to tank. The relief valve does that. the access pressure when the cylinder is fulling extended or fully retracted goes through the relief valve.
