    I have a question: why is there a change in system pressure? I thought it would just reflect the pressure created by the pump; on the other hand, if we use a reducing valve, we could see a constant system pressure. Can anyone please explain?

    Thank you sir , your video helping me a lot .
    i have one question . suppose the above system is working on a crane . now one of the hydraulic hose suddenly leaking (which is connecting between relief vv to return manifold . ) we have to change the hose but how to purge the system and what all safety we must follow ?

    • @KletteTech
      @KletteTech  4 роки тому

      Make sure the power is off. Also, make sure that you catch all the oil. Really it should be pretty straight forward.

    How do you distinguish the difference between the relief valve symbol and the sequence valve symbol? They look the same to me

    • @KletteTech
      @KletteTech  6 років тому

      Great question. The only way to distinguish between them is that a sequence valve has a external drain line. Besides that they are the same symbol. With pressure control valve symbols, the devil is in the details.

    So if the spring is week or broke your hydraulic pressure could start out at let's say, 400psi and bleed off to 100psi or even less? I'm having trouble now with one in a grapple skidder. Machine has been giving me nightmares for over a month

    • @KletteTech
      @KletteTech  5 років тому

      That might cause the problem. Typically springs don't start off at set pressure then drop. Have you checked the directional control valve?

    • @jasonhart1802
      @jasonhart1802 5 років тому

      @@KletteTech directional control valve? Would that be the same thing as the spool valve? The seals were bad on my relief. I replaced them. But now my relief won't adjust to 635 psi where it's suppose to be. 400ish. I'm gonna try a new relief and see if that's the problem.

    • @KletteTech

      Is it a adjustable relief valve?

    • @jasonhart1802
      @jasonhart1802 5 років тому

      @@KletteTech yeah. I got that part fixed. Now my differential pump keeps loosing prime. So im trying to figure out if it's a bad oring somewhere or if the line that runs from the front axle to the back axle has a crack in it somewhere. "Nightmare"

    Sir what this dotted line shows in relief valve?

    • @KletteTech
      @KletteTech  6 років тому

      Great questions. The dotted lines represent that the relief valve senses pressure internally. This is done in the valve so there is nothing that has to be hooked up.

      Sir please tell that pressure is noted in downstream only in gauges or some other concept .
