I'm kind of blown away by the neatness of the work. That stitching on those old crappy boots is flawless. Most of the other well known UA-cam cobblers are not getting their stitching anywhere near that perfect.
*lol wow 😂!! The people who did the past repairs shouldn't be in business! They need more practice before taking on business! Those are terrible repairs! You blew those people out of the water with your repair! Yours is absolutely amazing and always professionally well done! You definitely know what you're doing 😊! You have a substantial ton of passion and talent! I appreciate your work!*
There are some shabby cobblers out there. I had a pair of boots ruined by one! I did not do my homework properly. As always Aaron, you did a good job and saved the boots! Very nice.
That’s the kind of craftsmanship thats dying in this country. I’m glad to see there are some who realize that fast fashion is crap and timeless rebuildable footwear is the way it should be. As for me? I wish I could have had the choice to learn to do this in high school. I probably would have my own little shop by now.
I imagined this guy’s long ago relative had a shop along the road to Damascus when Paul stopped in for a repair. Three missionary trips. How many leather sandals did the Apostle Paul go through? More than a few. 😊

Wow! There are levels to this game. I hope you know you are a master craftsman. It’s not easy to find guys like this. Imagine him not having this channel. Only locals would know about this guys work, and word only travels so far.
How much does it usually cost to do that to a pair of old boots? How expensive does a pair of boots have to be before it's worth paying to have this done?
Just make it make sense. These boots are 300$ USD. Math it. 365 days in a year. These last awhile, even as an ironworker I'm on year three with this particular pair. I'm about to send mine in for a third resole. Thorogoods are about 270$ for the eight inch moc toe, and I rag them out in a year at best. Three pairs of them. I've owned one redwing for three years. Stitches hold up leather holds up foot sinks into the boot custom insole after break in fit like a good baseball glove. These r the best u can buy, and after a year of wear you will see why you wouldn't want to just buy a new pair, and opt to resole. Hope this helps

Very rare. He’s a boot wizard. I will send my boots to him from East Tennessee with zero worries.

The owner got ripped off TWICE, prior to using your service to resole his boot(s)!!!!!
You should make a t-shirt "lo barrato sale caro". I like that!
Tighter than four flats on a Cadillac, super clean!
Happy 4th. Enjoyed the humor about using socks instead of cork.
😅✋🏻
Happy 4th of July 🇺🇸
Love Your Sense of humor. If those boots could talk they would thank you. Great Job!

Aaron, the socks! 🤣🤣🤣

INCREDIBLE!!! The way it should be done . Great work. Love your videos.
Thank you very much!
Love the boots, would rather have them after a resole than new!
You let me down using black socks have to use white ones LMAO
Now thats how it's done. Great job as always. Peace ✌ and Love ❤.
✌️ & ❤️
Hmm, socks or cork...lol 😂 nice job on the resole and welt.
That was actually pretty nice. Good job, man!

Awesome work! Hopefully you can help my favorite boots!
You didn't reuse the welt?!?! 😂
I was tempted but I decided not to!😂
That’s crazy Aaron how some shoe repair places will do such a disgusting work. Now is done correctly by the BEST! Great job like always! 🙌👏☝️
🙏
I can't believe the welt didn't turn to dust with all the stitches.
And you have to put the cork in the socks..........

Super clean repair
Amazing all the work you do
I think what makes you so awesome is the nice thick midsole you apply and the outstanding craftsmanship
I watch your and other shoe repair videos to see how a job is done right. Keep up the good work!
Beautiful work
Great job reviving these Aaron!

Norwegian welt
En tiempos de hambre 😂😂😂✋🏻👊
Damn thats some shady cobbler work! The boots are in good hands now!
Even if you went for the socks over the cork as filler, they’d still be 100 times better than the original job! Awesome work
😂😂
Thanks
Clean work 👏👏
Thank you
Sr.zapatero aprendo mucho de SUS videos gracias
Great, great job on rebuilding those boots! BTW, have you ever done a Norwegian welt, like those on the red Wing Moc Toe 1907's? Thanks!
He's killing me with those socks.....😅
Go with the socks, gotta keep them as original as possible!
Buahahahah
Ti y a tu familia
Muchas Gracias igualmente para ustedes!
Amazing Job Aaron, One question, what if you use Leather instead of Cork? Would the boots last longer? thank you
Not really
Cork crumbles through time Leather doesn’t, but the boots will last the same
BTW leather has an extra charge.
Greetings!
I’ve had my 10877s for 4 YEARS. If you think this is bad you’d loveeee mine haha.

@@Joyce5990 so what is your go-to brand?
Both, cork and socks...what could go wrong! Bahahahahahaha🙃

As my uncle would say...todo madre!
nice work!
I would've gave the person 20 bucks, maybe, if I got my red Wings back like that. Terrible.
Gorgeous midsole 🤩
So impressive.
I need this done to a pair of 25 year old golf shoes. The leather is very high quality, but the soles finally fell off lol.
Shocking lack of integrity. I'm sure your customer will find the footbed to be nice and supportive now. Nice one!
🙏✋🏻
Great work! What did you use to condition these boots?
Cadillac leather conditioner!
Thanks
Cómo siempre: magnífico trabajo, saludos cordiales.
Muchas gracias Germán
Igualmente para usted
Should've gone with the socks
Please use socks!!! They will be so comfy 😂😅😂😅😂
Thank you Aaron for saving this man’s boots. Serious question though, is there felt or wool sheet that can be used as a filler in place of the cork?
Yes there is,certain boot manufacturers use that, but we would never use it, we either go with Cork or leather.
Very nice job
Thank you
Great video
I can't believe they used a car wash sponge and poly fill.
I don't think my local shop can pull this type of work.
Muy buen trabajo 👍
Nice job.
Nice resoling job!

Did they leave the old stiching in?
Yes they did it.
Wow, I have 2 pairs of red wings I need to send you
What kind of speed hooks are installed on these? It looks like they go through the original eyelets... is this correct?
Correct
They’re just regular speed hooks

Do you use saddle soap when you clean the boots or some other type of cleaner?
Saddle soap
Where are you located?
I wonder who did the last resole
