- Weekly Grocery Haul for our family of 12. Here is our meal plan for the week:
Monday: Tuna Melts, Dinner: Garbanzo Bean Soup & Bread
Tuesday: Pinto Bean Burritos, Dinner: Hamburgers and potato fries
Wednesday: Egg Salad Sandwiches, Dinner: Split Pea Soup & Bread
Thursday: Baked Potatoes w/ bacon, lettuce, tomato, Dinner: Deconstructed Pepper Casserole
Friday: Fresh Mozzarella Sandwiches, Dinner: Sweet and Sour Chicken and White rice
Saturday Sandwiches, juice, goldfish, watermelon, Dinner: Chicken legs, harvest blend & brussels sprouts
Sunday: Honey Garlic Chicken (crockpot) white rice, Dinner: Nachos, cheese, taco meat, beans

You're obviously a very invested, kind and loving mother. You bring such a positive bubbly energy and your kids seem to really enjoy being close to you. I grew up the 4th of nine kids with a mother who was kind, loving and present with us. I now have 3 grown kids of my own and although they live away from me, we remained very close. I really enjoyed the process of raising my kids and it's fun to watch you in the thick of raising your kids. You're doing a great job! Thanks for giving us a little peek into your lives.

Every child is a true blessing. I couldn't have biological children so I became a teacher and foster Mum until I was too sick. I recently became a Mum to a beautiful cavoodle puppy who is such a delight.

Your children prove that children can be so talented in the arts and still like the same things other children do.I enjoy seeing them with their games and phones. They are so well rounded and well behaved.Again I will say my favorite family to watch and enjoy.Take care.

It's wonderful that you purchase lots if veggies, fruits, and very limited processed food. It's Dawn from Cape Coral Florida again. My father was a farmer in the Catskill mountains of NY. We ALWAYS had fresh produce. My mom and dad cooked like you do. Soups, stews, casseroles, etc. I was 14 before I realized that vegetables, fruits, etc, came in cans! I was born in 1961. I have a " hint." If possible, cook your soups, chili's, stews, a day before, and let sit in fridge until the next evening dinner. You will be AMAZED at how much more delicious !

If you’ve got your van handy you should drive out to Rockaway and visit the beach and the little town. There is a skate park there too! And a nice ice cream shop.

Great grocery haul. I love the volgs you do of the dinners you have in a week, along with the recipes.
Please understand there is no judgement here..when my boys were little I learned that when we walked holding their hand, each step we took it took 4-5 steps for our toddler to keep up, so they were running the whole time.

Natural Simple Living buys the hamburger patties and uses them as ground beef in lieu of purchasing already ground beef. It's cheaper per pound and grinds up the same.

Aw, I love shopping with my kids! We shop with a min of 4 kids, but we have had all 11, and it makes shopping that much more fun! You found snap peas! Haha! Our Trader Joe's was out. My kids love the Costco food court! Haha, my husband's fault, haha! Those were great grand totals! You beat us at both stores; we were higher🤪 Your van is the best!!
Aw thank you! Yes it’s surprising how expensive things are but I definitely seem to get more bang for our buck by not buying too many pre packaged things. I got the grassfed beef Patties I saw you buy in one of your hauls. They are pretty good!

Yes! I love Sarah’s grocery hauls! We don’t have much storage or an extra fridge so we have to shop more often but I love the ideas she comes up with!

What do you guys do for a living? I live in Florida for the past 31 years, originally from NY, have lots of family in NY, so I know it's VERY expensive.
We live in Harlem so it’s a bit cheaper but yes food rarely goes on sale here. I see other moms get good deals in other cities. My husband works at a sign company, I do social media and we also do music as a family.
