I hear what you say, but I wish blizzard would just have better UI and have those options in-game. I feel like removing information would make the game even harder to understand for casuals like me
Man I've mained Resto Druid since Burning crusade and i can't help but feel like since at least BFA that Rdruid has 70% more actions per minute than most other classes for the same result. And in TWW I can't prehot and heal through burst without going OOM while Disc is still 70% mana. 4 base HoTs to keep up at all times that basically can't keep up with auto attacks (4 timers). Plus more fluff like 2nd and 3rd stack lifebloom. ADD IN small cooldown timers Iron Bark, swiftmend, cen ward, treants and weve got a dozen damn counters to keep in mind at any given moment. Still missing 20% of other healing related moves and after all that you can start to worry about CC and the rest of the game mechanics. I know Ill be told I'm just bad but my God I shouldnt spend 60% of a match worrying about 25 different timers.

I think healer in general just has a bit more of a learning curve because they need to look out for themselves, others, and what is coming at them, and others, from multiple people - damaging or crowd control, while also being yelled at to dispel 😂
Hey skillcapped, how can you not mention that rshaman has the most buttonbloat then any other class? Surely that should affect how hard it is to play/learn?
I was waiting for a tier list like this! I really wanted to get back to healing a bit, since I enjoyed it alot back in the day (Cata) as a resto druid. But I'm not sure I have the mental health for it nowadays....
when you play presvoker and your shuffle teammates are split across the map is an absolute nightmare 😭. I feel like the positioning makes it really really hard while other healers can get away with playing passive next to a pillar
Holy priest is so bad at the moment. It can be good into rsham or presvoker (SOMETIMES) in solo shuffle. Facing disc is a complete unfair uphill battle. Disc absorbs 5-6x amount more damage with shield.. and their attonement sometimes heals more than my serenity and mastery combined. Hpriest gets screwed if theres a mortal strike affect. 3 mins into the game our heals do absolutely NO HEALING. This also means our mastery becomes useless too. A little bit of nothing is nothing (mastery is a small HOT added bssed in how much you heal, in dampening you dont heal for anything) they have to hardcast SO MUCH. im casting like 24-25 flash heals a game... Just for it to be my 3rd in healing. Very easy to OOM, very very easy to CD overlap with clueless teammates (guardian spirit on them then they block/bubble/turtle) same with life swap. Its pretty ridiculous that they can do more damage with the shield reflection (crystaline reflection) talent then i can with my holy fires 😐😐😐
Resto Shaman IS easy. I'm a terrible healer, I've peaked around 1700-1800 and played every healing spec. Shaman and Holy Priest were by far the easiest to get into. The reason why shaman is easy is because I can NS top a target, I can panic and 3 riptide top a target, if the team is getting cleaved I can healing tide, I can give myself precog on demand and spam healing surge, healing totems play the game for me to a degree same as druid treants etc... with the paladin you don't just "press button does heal" you have to look for somethibg like death mark to bop, you have to monitor forbearance, you have to cast Tyr's on CD and I still cant remember what it does. Holy shock isnt as impactful as Ripetide, lay on hands (basically NS heal) gives forbearance so its a trade off... the list goes on There's no way Paladins are easier than Shamans for new healers even if it's somewhat basic when you understand the fundamentals
Hey SkillCapped, I have a tough question here - as Fury Warrior I usually macro Avatar and Recklessness into one button because it has the same cooldown. Is it a right thing or not?
Done with PVP... Endless gap closer tunnel classes destroying endless new players... The whole thing is dumpster fire for anyone not highly skilled to move past the low tier games. Good luck but this game sucks now.
I thought Pres would have fallen under easy, but ya made me feel a bit better as I have always succeeded at Pres. more than any other healer over the past year.
Make sure your talented Fade removes snares, also make sure you use the feather macro on yourself. I barely get tunneled, I just run away. You can even use the roots talent if it helps you. Don't be afraid of using your Desperate Prayer soon. That's the first CD I use when I get focused and then I press PW: Life on CD. Then I also use the Premonition. The first one allows you to use your Shield multiple times without a CD or if you manage to get kicked into Mind Blast, you can use your Pennance 4 times without a CD. All the forms of Premonition help you. The other one increases your healing, the ultimate one gives you a big shield + does everything else. When I get gripped into a big AoE together with my team mates, I immediately use the barrier and if I get gripped alone, I almost immediately PS and run away. I used to save my PS for worse situations, but since I have 2 stacks of it, I don't hesitate using the 1st one more preemptively.
@@yannickmarti9866 yes this is it, when human form click hover and immediately time stop. Then you are human form and can fight without changing until you use the swap ability again
Rdruid should be hard, no doubt. Especially in the current meta with tons of dispells/purges everywhere. Disc priest and rdruid being the same tier is a damn joke. I can play my disc priest fine after 12 beers.
Yes I don’t understand how this is not something that they mentioned. Rshaman literally have 30-40%more abilities then priest/evoker. It’s should count towards being harder?
Oh yeah, switching your friendly and enemy targets all the time. Healing, doing dmg, CCing, watching your mana, positioning and chasing the friendly DPS who constantly line of sight your heals in shuffle 😎
Im sorry but holy paladin is NOT beginner friendly. Ive played H pal, monk, resto shaman and can definitely say shaman is easiest to me. AOE healing is a nightmare for paladins. Just my thoughts...
Blood, are you kidding me? My Resto shaman legit uses 5 bars fully and thats not including macros. It has so many abilities sometimes I forget em. MW monk is like 2 bars lmao.
LMAO. Just look at the UI of the pres segment of this video.. No wonder WoW pvp is struggling. What a convoluted mess it has become with addons, weakauras and 50 keybinds on top.
I feel one thing that's worth talking about MWs is that they have TERRIBLE mana management. It's not hard to blow through your mana in like 90 seconds.
Healer is easy because is easier to find good players to carry you... that true on pvp and pve... Now if you play a healer that strong and easy to play that just rollface to high rating... Rating you get on a healer is very diferent than the rate you get on a hard to play dps...

I believe Pres evoker has more buttons than RShaman. I have three rows of them that I must use for a successful arena battle.
Resto Shaman does have a lot of utility buttons, but has very little actual healing buttons. This is why it went in medium difficulty.

Sham is being trained by melees 24/7 not a good start for new healers imo. Well holy pala is though also but like priests and monk are chilling

It's still extremely strong rn even with the nerf ! But its definitely on the harder side of things compared to most healers.
Started playing disc this season as alt. I really struggle asap I get focused. No idea how some ppl are able to stay alive asap they get tunneled.

I find prevoker to be medium difficulty at most. Shaman definitely the hardest one, rest is okay.

Do not rely on this video, hpala is simple but is by far the hardest to climb in shuffle, that’s why they are being reworked and buffed.

Idk man Healing PvE is a nightmare. And it feels impossible to find decent DPS with half a brain for defensives/self heals.
