On the shut off cable need to drill a hole through the bolt it will pull off or you can also get a specific bolt for a bicycle with cantilever brakes or any type of cable pull brakes
Why? Everyone that watched this channel at the start had John and his bros truck and Jessie full builds with tons of info and feed back. now its just this guy that must of hit the lotto for all these builds that no one in the real world could ever afford, Made a brand for himself selling his 5cent hats for 25 bucks and you clowns bought it up.. I am not a hater if you want to fool people into buying your garbage by all means and telling people to buy Truck parts that no one in the real world can afford on a normal paycheck!!! have Ater
Greg, drill a hole through that bolt, stick the cable end through and then pile up a glob of solder on the end, thats what i have done in the past and it works well
Love your trucks greg..remind me of my dad..he was a big cummins fan...also i love does cummins truck..the one i am starting to love now is your first gen..its look amazing
@@lanegrey2352 Right, except that free custom Air Dog can't even come close to PDD's mechanical pump's pressure or GPH. If you want the best, you can't be married to one particular company. But I get it; the path is least resistance is the one most traveled.
Hey Greg! Been watching your build for awhile! Truck looks awesome. I was wondering where you got your fuel sending unit looks new. I’ve looked everywhere and can’t find one for mine. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Greg
Awesome awesome video Greg A, no firing on the first gen yet lol but either way I was glad to see the progress made. It looks like it should be ready to start priming the fuel system next video though, and then we should hear that mechanical rattle box cone to life lol.
Do you know if there are any NHRA rule for a cable shut off vs a electric shut off on 12 valve Cummins? Incase of a crash and they can’t shut off truck due to only electric fuel pump if even used.
dude came to our audio shop today with a sick dodge. and wouldnt you know he had a wrench work sticker on his truck like how marks is and a hoodie on. hell ya
I know you love Air Dog, but you really need to check out Power Driven Diesel and what they are doing with a mechanical pump. It's serious and actually makes significantly more power than an electric lift pump can.
You realize that is a pump that has been out for YEARS by glacier, it’s not any new crazy thing. Also waterman is a better choice than any belt driven pump.
Greg, I watch every single one of your videos, I buy your wrench workz gear, as do many others.....I think it's time you talk to us about Johnny send it.
Sean Kaufman I get what your saying. I think they are pretty rare in the 12v world. Generally just seen in 1998 factory or if the truck has had a replacement motor. You’ve got the crack prone block too.
Jason Truman mines a Dec 97 truck. Built the heck out of the block this past year. I’m not scared of the cracking issue. Seen more in 24v than 12v. If it happens, going to 6.7 block and putting my warhead over on to that block
Sean Kaufman sweet!!!! And the cracking issue is not all 53 blocks and it seems it comes with high miles. I’ve seen a 400k mile 12v that cracked the 53 block at 100 percent factory hp.
you can't go wrong buying local. they can offer you more than Summitt can. Just like today when you want them now, they had it. Building a network of local businesses, will over time, lower your costs w/them. It doesn't hurt that you can explain what you do on youtube, and 138K people that where intrested in your channel.
we refer those cutters as "clamshells". theyre the bees knee. unless you try to cut some stainless braid shit and then they get all fucked up. shit sucks. keep em sharp.
Your using way too big oil feeds. BW will even tell you all you need is a -3 or -4 Max feed line . And in order to keep 50 psi in the p7100 you will need a second fpr on the back side of the spill port. Otherwise your fuel pressure will drop under load .
Randy Slagle tork tek makes the banjo bolt he needs on the injection pump return, it’s what I run and a wot my fuel pressure stays constant 45psi, not sure why he’s wanting it up at 60 always been told by pump guys you want 10 psi for every 1k governor spring pressure/1k rpm
Great work Greg_A!! Can't wait to see the 1st Gen killing the tires!!
Bout time!!!
I’ve been waiting two years for this Greg!!!
So excited to hear the first gen fire up 👍
I always love to see AN fittings ran so nicely....the clean look is just so satisfying 😁👍
On the shut off cable need to drill a hole through the bolt it will pull off or you can also get a specific bolt for a bicycle with cantilever brakes or any type of cable pull brakes
Yes exactly what I was going to say 👌👊👍
You would think that he would know that being such an awesome fabricator
Where’s Jonny send it..?
yall so annoying

Dj Dose oil fields pay good my friend i guess you didn't know he worked in those. Hes like 28 or 29 That's a lot of money plus youtube now....
No need to apologize brah. Thanks for what you do. Has Andy found a new truck?
Greg, drill a hole through that bolt, stick the cable end through and then pile up a glob of solder on the end, thats what i have done in the past and it works well
P51 Sleeper I was gonna say drill a hole in the bolt then wrap it around. Mainly wanted to comment so he will hopefully see this. Have a good one.
Such as life keep up with the family they are the most important, but keep up on the great channel, thank you
Love your trucks greg..remind me of my dad..he was a big cummins fan...also i love does cummins truck..the one i am starting to love now is your first gen..its look amazing
Love the videos Greg! I'm going to buy my first Cummins on Monday, super excited. Gonna order a wrench workz sticker for the back glass🖒💪
I think you should look into the predator lift pump by power driven diesel it seems to be the way to go for cummins applications.
kolin99895 or run the free Air Dog they custom built for him!

1997 12V was the first year with two oil drain ports in the block, I had one for my build.
Glad to see the first gen again, and can’t wait to see the new turbo setup on the dually!!
Hey Greg! Been watching your build for awhile! Truck looks awesome. I was wondering where you got your fuel sending unit looks new. I’ve looked everywhere and can’t find one for mine. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Greg
I am so hyped about the 1st gen!
Awesome awesome video Greg A, no firing on the first gen yet lol but either way I was glad to see the progress made. It looks like it should be ready to start priming the fuel system next video though, and then we should hear that mechanical rattle box cone to life lol.
soldier a good quality ring connector onto the cable , stainless if you can find it .
Hey Greg I’ve been looking for the link for that washer you had that doesn’t leave water spots can you tell me where to look
Where did you get your duel turbo drain?
Literally just finished putting my WrenchWorkz decal on
Nice castle creation RC connectors for the lift pump haha
Super Super Super Super Awesome dudes.
What did you do with your stock damper?
Can't wait to hear it run
I live on that road in the intro
Love the 1st gen. Happy weekend
Is that one of the roads that heads to Easton, Pa? The waterways look familiar.
Did anyone else picture their finger in that special hose cutter as he showed it open and close? 😲😬
Can’t wait to hear it start up 👍

love that 12v
Can’t wait to hear it 😎😎
Finally the first gen.
Dual -10 drains with a Y are no issue, made several kits with no issues and there are a few 5.90 trucks running the same setup 💪
Greg, on the cable just make a loop and get a ferrule on it. Crimp and good to go!
Great video sir love the attention to detail love when we get to see the 08 #WRENCHWORKZFAITHFUL🇺🇸
What about the price point between vibrant from jegs compared to jones and the quality if you could touch on that much appreciated
Saturday can now finally begin!!!!!
Finally some first gen content
Johnny sendit update?
Good video...Its really looking like fall up north..
used to buy all my fitings from jones when i raced.
Let’s get this bread!!!
Let's gain this grain!!!
dude came to our audio shop today with a sick dodge. and wouldnt you know he had a wrench work sticker on his truck like how marks is and a hoodie on. hell ya
River road. Point pleasant/ upper black Eddie area.
You the Man Greg A
I missed the first gen! Been watching way before you even bought it
I know you love Air Dog, but you really need to check out Power Driven Diesel and what they are doing with a mechanical pump. It's serious and actually makes significantly more power than an electric lift pump can.
Monster RAM but they are not a sponsor so he only uses what the sponsors provide... pretty sad how shitty this channel got👎🏻
You realize that is a pump that has been out for YEARS by glacier, it’s not any new crazy thing. Also waterman is a better choice than any belt driven pump.
If he cant make it To help you out I would !! Dame looks sick!!
What timing cover is that?
Anuther awesome edit 👍👍
If you don’t want that cable to come off that bolt just put a longer tag end on it and use a crimp connector on it
you the man greg A, just about time to burn some tires.. uhh i mean almost time for a first drive huh? :)
Hell ya Greg! Keep up the good work
Greg, I watch every single one of your videos, I buy your wrench workz gear, as do many others.....I think it's time you talk to us about Johnny send it.
STORM blocks have two oil drains. I got a 53 STORM 12v block
Sean Kaufman first gens never came with a storm block though. But they bolt right in
Jason Truman yeah I know. Just saying it’s not just 24v

dual feed to pump?
Need some noboost content soon
Yayyyyyy first gen ❤️❤️
I have never clicked on a video so fast
Could you add some more video of driving and music..... lol
WOOOOT
Awesome as always. Really shocked though with your ocd you haven't painted that frame yet :) not hating, just sayin
All that braided line is costly . Should of run aluminum tubing with -AN ferrule / collet type fittings at the end and few feet of -AN line.
we refer those cutters as "clamshells". theyre the bees knee. unless you try to cut some stainless braid shit and then they get all fucked up. shit sucks. keep em sharp.
Please paint the frame on the first gen.
Greg a finger delete coming right up. Lol
Notification squad!!

Vroom vroom
Drill a hole in the bolt put cable in hole
Why are you not at SEMA?
Because his trucks aren't nice enough
How are the New Jersey gun laws
Who cares? If you're that curious *Google* it.
Yet another sponser
First gen nothing more needs to be said.
