- In our latest release we are Carnarvon Cruisin'!
This video presents our off-road adventure through The Carnarvon National Park Region located in the Central Queensland Highlands, where we take you on an epic journey of fascinating discovery!
From the infamous and grisly tale of the Kenniff Brothers Bushrangers of Mount Moffat, to the stunning Carnarvon Great Walk through the gorge itself, with its incredible natural and indigenous history and then on to the Salvator Rosa region, with its majestic rock formations and sublime crystal clear springs and creeks that are essential sources of water for three of Australia's major river systems.
The Carnarvon National Park region in Queensland is a must see for all of you with an interest in amazing natural geology, colonial settlement and exploration of Australia, and also incredible aboriginal art and history.
We all throughly enjoyed our adventure through this region too, and we hope you love our video of this journey!

Great episode. Love the history and geology. Lots Wife probably named after the Lot's Wife story from the Bible, where she turned into a pillar of salt. Lot, his wife and 2 daughters were urged by 2 angels to flea Sodom during its destruction. They were instructed not to look back but Lot's wife did and she turned into a pillar of salt. The story is found in Genesis 19: 1-38.
@@tafadzwakevinbadza Wow! That’s the best comment I’ve read on socials in forever! Thank you so much for that super interesting and likely very true information on the nomenclature of Lots Wife…I’m glad I didn’t look back as we drove off!
Awesome show👍and on the short political segment, around 15:50, spot on👌. More people need to hear it. Cheers.
Thank you, Sir, I’ll always try and be me in these vids, not what I think others want to hear- there’s already more than enough of that.
One of the best yet no doubt! What a great story to tell about the history of such an epic place.

Thanks brother, obviously such a brilliant time was had, but none of it could be remembered like this, without your magic behind the camera. Teamwork definitely made this dream come to life in an unforgettable and beautiful way.
Best one yet! Great vibe! Would love to sing in that amphitheater 🎵 😊
Thanks Bernadette! Your voice would add a level of magic to the amphitheater that could potentially have angels joining you:)
Aww, thanks. I’m almost certain that kind of thing actually happens when we sing beautiful vibrations in those kinds of places ❤
@@bernadettegalea true that :)
So two days ago, I'm sitting, contemplating the next school holidays. Late last year Carnarvon was the go but alas, me - the driver, camp organiser, navigator etc broke my leg. So now I plan a different journey where we'll visit the gorge for a smaller walk or two (leg gets tired) and plan something else. But what? So I open UA-cam and BAM....this was the first video and it was only 30 mins since posted. Trip now planned. THANK YOU!
@@things_I_saw ah sorry to hear about your leg, but great to hear you’re up for some Carnarvon Gorge rehabilitation! Thanks so much for your thoughtful comment:)
You’re going to need to go back and see Wards canyon because you missed one of the best bits! Great episode, thanks for sharing and inspiring a return trip
@@bigkevycrawf True! Disappointed we had to scale our effort on the hike but I honestly don’t think we’d have survived in that heat had we done the lot:) Never mad about having another reason to go back to such an incredibly beautiful spot though!
unreal video mate! i was out there the week this was uploaded, wish it came out while i was planning my trip.
Thank you! ah fairdinkum! Unlucky, but at least you went:)
Love your videos, understand how much you put into it. Be great to see more. Do you sell your shirts?
@@robertjennings1612 Thanks Rob, much appreciated! I do have some left, only in sizes like 2XL and bigger.
Loved the new video, please keep them coming!
Side note, who makes your sun hat? I’m in need of something new to protect my balding head.
Thanks so much! I feel ya, it’s an Australian Akubra. I forget the model, but you’ll probably find it easy enough.
