- The annual Dove Cottage Day Hospice charity ride out, this year starting and ending back at Dove Cottage in Stathern.
Around £500 was raised and all goes straight to the hospice.

Bex I think we were talking about Chris and he kept leaving his indicators on. Me rocking backwards and forwards was referring to the power loss on his bike 🏍️🏍️
Another great video keep them coming bex one of the best vloggers there is at the moment on here entertaining and fun , this is such a good cause and always looks a good ride out with a good gathering of genuine bikers well done to all involved

Aww that is very nice of you to say, thanks so much! Riding our bikes & raising money for a good cause is always a double win :D The route was really fab as usual, and what was good was that we didn't have to negotiate our way out of Melton this time. I hope we can get as good or better turnout in future years ^_^

That pigeon was just trying to hitch a ride, it heard you were on the Dove Cottage run and so thought it was a trip out to visit it's posh relatives 😉
Looks like it was a great ride. Beautiful weather, exciting roads, wonderful scenery, and a nice bit of brownie cake 😃, doesn't get much better than that 😀

Aww it's been too long ey! There was talk of a ride to see Skeggy sometime soon. There's boston bike night start of next month. Also AMRR - However I have a 25th wedding anniversary to go to so I'm not going to be able to make it this year. Cat was saying she may do Yarmouth takeover instead this year.

Gutted I missed it. Luckily got to join a practice ride of the route a few weeks before. Oh and I have a cheap knock off battery if you want to see if its the battery. It might just have overheated. See you soon.

Thanks, though I did buy a copy one from amazon the day after. It's a brand named MTB More energy. Not tried it out yet but hopefully it'll work ok. Funny thing is, I've worked out from adding all the footage times together that the camera managed to get 1 hour 54 mins, which actually aint too bad. (used to last 2 hour 30 though). If I hadn;t have started recording early thinking we were there that that would have saved 20 mins lol

I often wave to random people. It makes me smile, if not them.Looks lie we combined with another group ride a couple of times that day.
I can vouch for it hurting when you hit a pigeon :-(

After the fuel top up at the half way point I literally got off the bike and took my helmet gloves jacket, bag off. Untied my hair. Cleaned my visor and then everyone was getting ready to go, So I was rushing like made to get all my gear back on haha!
Turning in that road gravelly, pot-holey, uneven road was my definition of a nightmare XD
I did try making that video once but IIRC no one waved back :-D
We were the same. Got off the bike, took a few steps across the grass then everyone started kitting up again! I think I slowed up our departure desperately try to replace my camera battery :-D

Ahhh no hehe! Well don't feel too bad, I think I was literally the person people were waiting for to get ready. I was rushing to get my gear all back on and I just hear someone shout 'Come on Bex' as I look up at everyone else sitting on their bikes waiting for me XD Lol.
I think I remember Cat saying it had taken longer than expected to get there and after fueling up etc.. so that's why we left a bit sooner than anticipated.

I definitely can not afford a decent one, but thing is also I'm not too sure about the 4k. The X would be ok if it had 1080 60fps, but it's just 30.
Bex88 I have heard some very good things about the GitUp cameras. They are very cheap and have a microphone input too. The videos I have seen look good quality.
Great video.But I think the people you went with should practice 2nd person drop off a bit more.Golden rule is, stay as compact as possible and no overtaking each other.
Potholes and mud worse thing about roads around here for roadusers, that and Audi drivers.
Yeah I can confirm the same around the Fens too + bumpy roads haha :D
LOL I live near Boston, few videos I seen roads that I use regular, The Superbike shop had a big event a few weeks ago but I was working a double shift so I missed it :(

Aw no! Well I should have realised as Cat did mention about stopping half way, I just didn't realise it was there lol. I did want to top up any way. But when we got back to the car park, literally took all my gear off and then everyone was getting ready to go LOL!

Bex88 don’t worry Bex, we all have wally moments. My best one was arriving back home from Silverstone in the late 70’s only to find my leg had locked with the cold weather. So couldn’t put my foot down and fell off straight sideways when I stopped. What a twonk!!!!!!
