I really enjoyed our morning walk!
😃 Thank you 🙏🏼
The reason I homeschooled was because “God said” to train up your children. I felt that meant I was responsible for their learning: teaching them morals, and ethical codes; developing their character, and their life skills… to know that they were a loved child of God. Also, how to be a productive and great American citizen, etc. 1990-2006. Those were very good years and I believe if you ask my children they will also say they were their best years. They worked hard, played hard and learned well. I am very very proud of them. They are good people!!❤️ And they love Jesus. ❤️
Absolutely. I love your testimony so much. I'm a single mom who homeschools, my child is autistic and we've tried public schools, even tried charter schools, none of it works for her at all, so I refuse to put her through that. I spent many years trying to find a suitable husband because it's hard not only to single parent but to homeschool and do everything else by myself, but in the areas I lived in, the options are not acceptable. I lived in a very liberal area (the crazy kind). Eventually I received a message straight from Jesus Himself: He is there to help me parent, I am to raise my daughter to consider Jesus as a father figure, someone she can turn to when she needs to talk or can't figure out a problem. As long as I keep Jesus in my home and keep Him part of everything even homeschooling, He will be the other parent until I am able to move to an area where I can find a physical husband and father for my daughter. It probably sounds like BS to many people, but that is what I was told by Jesus. We literally cannot do anything with God's blessing or influence, and that absolutely includes learning.
I'm a shepardess and couldn't help notice how your face lights up when you're talking about your flock. It's nice to see.
Our kids are all grown and we raised them as workers. They worked alongside us. They paid for their cars, insurance and extras. We invested in their education by sending them to a private Christian school. They are thriving hardworking adults. Praise God!
There isn't a day goes by now where I don't get a sore neck from shaking my head.
when I went to school, an A was 92- 100, 82-91 was a B; 72-81 was a C; down to 65 was a D(d-) Anything below 65 was an F! -- a "Tincture Library" - AWESOME! gonna change my "tincture shelves" to a "tincture library!"
Same. And it tells me the "A" students of today include a lot of artificially inflated egos. Not cool...
Again Zach. Love you and your insight. I learn much from what you are doing. I walked away from 6 figures to buy some dirt and sometimes get overwhelmed. You settle my spirit.
One day at a time.
Praise YAH your Dad is near you. I’ve tried to get family here on my homestead to no avail. It’s CRAZY what they are putting in the food! I’m blessed to have Appalachian Meats near me for my beef and lamb 🙌. YAH BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. Thank you for all you do brother. 🙏🕊️
When I was in college around 1980, the students in the allied health programs had to earn higher scores than the rest of the college for an A. This helped us do better on the national board exams.
🎶 she'll be coming round the mountain 🎶
Zac!! Your no standard is 1000% better than the school systems
Loved the walk, thanks.
90-100 A
80-89 B
70-79 -C
0-69- F
Things have been outta whack for a while. I just don't think we were paying attention. We were busy taking care of our responsibilities. Small things happen everyday that tilts us toward our downfall. The biggest loss of all is integrity. If you have this one characteristic, they all follow suit. Once in a while I meet people with integrity, and it's amazing to witness. It honestly makes me have joy.
I think this is the system I grew up with. Zach might be a little older than me, so if that's the case, then the 92-100 = A when he was in school means they've slowly been at this whole agenda of dumbing us down.
Same.
@@homesteadgamer1257 Slowly, but unrelenting. Dumb sheep are easier to control and lead over the cliff. Shalom
@@davidmorgan2541 So true.
Good morning. My daughter has severe allergies and even to soy. That makes me so angry. Thank goodness I homeschooled.
I'm pretty sure that an *F* was 0-59 in the 1990's. An F also came with a complimentary Butt Whooping at home. Don't ask me how I know 😅😅😢😢😢
Our father's must of come from the same stock😉😂
When I was in school an A was 93-100, a B was 85-92, a C 79-85 and a D was 70-78!
Same for me
Nice, showing off your tzitzit. Shalom brother.
Our schools have gone nuts, tried to help my granddaughter in her math, teacher replied in red all answers were right but formula done wrong, it was a good formula when I went to school, maybe I should homeschool my grandchildren.
They did the whole +/- thing at my school so an 88% was an A- for example. 65% or lower was an F.
We are definitely living in crazy times and times to share and teach truths!
Hydrolyzed soy is a type of soy protein that has been broken down into its component amino acids through a process called hydrolysis. This process involves using enzymes or acids to break the peptide bonds between the amino acids, resulting in a mixture of free amino acids and short peptides
A tincture library! Yep! Great minds think alike!
What books do you consult for tinctures?
Loved seeing the sheep with her lamb.❤.I miss the farm life. 😢
Cutest sheep and they get an A for their smart walk ;-). Yes, growing up in Brazil in the 80's, 90's the bottom of a C was 70. Below that's a fail, need to recoup/ take reinforcement classes over the Summer, before you can test again and advance to the next class/ series. B was an 80 bottom, and MB, or A was probably 95 and above. Sorry, I am so late on watching your videos as they are so meaningful and insightful. Shabbat Shalom and thanks for the invite to walk along... refreshing, as always.
In the 60’s and 70’s an A was 90-100, B 80-89 and so on. Can’t believe the standards have fallen so low. Been watching Suspicious Observers. Expecting some outages today.
Thank you!!!
Your POV is often so similar to my own. Thanks for your channel
Your grades were same as I remember. I was the last year, as a freshman ('73), that Mom's came in & made/served breakfast & lunch with Home Ec student volunteers. Thankfully, all of my elementary years were homemade goods, before they became poisons vs. food. My kids got fed breakfast at Home, & took their lunches & snacks. Kids since Ritalin & Prozac are not so fortunate to have parents who know better...and, indeed, Consequence is quite evident. Shout out of Blessings to the many beloved nurses in my circle who filled me in from the get-go. Thank you, Monsanto, for creating Round-up, which as a landscaper, was too good to be true...You folks were what sent me on the life-journey into how deep the BS goes. And, trust me, Kiddos here...my ropes are not long enough to hit bottom. Truth holds up to scrutiny & welcomes questions...seek it in every thing, with everything you've got. Blessings to wise Continuance.
🤯😳I can't believe we feed that crap to the kids in school !! Thank God you figured it out before feeding it to your kids or chickens !!! Great information of the Mayapple Tincture, thank you.
An A was 93-100, WOW, that's insane!!!
❤ I love all of the information in this video. Thank you for sharing! ❤
When I was in school, anything below 70 was an F. More was expected from students but the cafeteria was already a garbage can.
Cool! With the sheep
Lol I love the sheep 🐑 😂❤
LOL I thought 'May Apples" was a euphemism for horse dung. When you mentioned using it for a tincture, I had a moment of "huh??" Quite relieved to learn that May Apples are not poop 🤣
When I was in school in NC(graduated 1987), the grading scale was A (93 - 100), B (92 - 85), C (84 - 77), D (76 - 70), F (69 - 0)....
This video just confirmed my reasons for learning how to grow my own food. At least I have some idea what it is I am putting into my mouth. It is no surprise that young Americans have such an obesity problem. Not to mention hormonal imbalance! If my babies were still at that age I would definitely homeschool. Bad food, Low Standards and exposure to bad ideas. Parents sure have it rough these days. Another great vid. thx
When i was still teaching, there was talk about adjusting the grade scale. It was about 2010. I see they finally actually did it. 🤦♀️🤦♀️
I went to school in Texas. 91-100 was an A, 80-90 was a B, 69-79 was a C, 59-68 was a D.
I totally agree with ya brother to be quite honest
Was in VA thru most of middle school, 95-100 A, 90-94 B, 85-89 C, 80-84 D, 79 & below was F. Moved to MA midway thru year, first test was stuff we hadn't covered in VA yet and got 75. Freaked out because I was going to have to go home and tell Mom I flunked the test. One of my new friends was like oh wow, you got a C, nice job. In MA it was 90-100 A, 80-89 B, 70-79 C, 60-69 D, 59 & below F. My failure magically turned into a decent passing grade. This was in 1979.
Thanks for the May Apple tincture information! Will definitely be looking for that to make some of my own. May our great God bless you!
The beef in that burger is most likely beef blood only. Therefore they can technically says the burger is a beef burger
Great info ~ thanks for showing us the May Apples & tincture. Agree with you ~ homeschooling is the way to go (from a retired educator). ❤🙏🏻
I really appreciate you taking the time to show what to get for tinctures. This is a lost art. I am picking plantain leaf and dandelion roots. Next juicing mulberry!!!!
Thank you for the tincture info.
I can't remember elementary or high school grading, but holy cow! 😮 When I went to nursing school in 2005, we had to score 92% or above for an A.
I’m 65 and to get an A it was 95-100 ! It’s crazy how little you are expected to do !!🤪🤪🤪
All schools, bad meat, hydrolyzed soy is chemically reduced soy, yuch!! When you saud school meat, I thought, no, not my chickens!! Lol...
A+ over 95 consistently...what a world!!! Thanks! Always learning, and laughing!! Praise God
Hiya Zac….. loved this video!
Sheep are funny things aren’t they…. that was hilarious, thanks for sharing this info…. I too am building my tincture arsenal, I don’t think we have that plant here in Australia, but I’ll research👍🏼
Aw your sheep are so sweet. I want sheep so bad. I've been looking for enough land so I can have a few sheep.
My kids used epic Charter school this year, anything below a 70% is considered failing.
I was just exploring my woods and found a bunch of Mayapple. Very cool info.
Yeah the deer always find them before I do
Zac!! Love the St Croixs, yours look like ours!
Hi Zac, my husband and I watch ur show faithfully! We so enjoy ur program, entertaining and educational! I have a couple of questions, do u ever "go on vacation"? We have a small farm/sanctuary and our family members are always asking us to go on vaca with them but we are reluctant to leave all our animals in someone else's hands. Would like to hear ur thoughts. Also we were so sorry to hear about your wife's passing. ❤
We’ve got may apples all over our property so that’s good to know. Thanks for that bit of info. FYI: chlorine dioxode is a highly effective ‘tincture’ for malaria! Jus’ sayin’ …
I'm 52, and a 65% was an F all through my public school years. More dumbing kids down.
Sooo good to hear your parents are near you.
Hope your inlaws are well also.
Much love Zach to all of your family.
Cinchona is really good for that too
Graduated 08 and it was 92/94-100 for an A in high school.
Shalom
Thankypu. That's great information on May apples. I wonder if that tincture would help with the parasites in bear and wild bore meat. Tric isn't found in domestic pig.
Wild lettuce is good for pain.
We had to have a 70 to pass with a D. . 69 was an F and a spanking when I got home.
I graduated Florida public high school in ‘98.
A-94-100
B-85-93
C-75-84
D-65-74
F-64 and under
I remember being astonished that a 90 was an A in college.
May Apples are blooming here today. I'm about 300 miles north of you.
That means morel season then. Goodluck
Really good video, I liked the format and now I feel like I can identify mayapple. Can you cook with mayapple like jams or jelly? I love utilizing new plants on our property.
Oh gosh, now you have to dispose of all that nasty meat. 🤢
Looking forward to the Homesteading Life Conference this weekend.
One of my classes in college had a grade scale of 95-100% A, 94-89% B, 88-85% C, 84-80% D, 79% and below F. Life has a stiff grading scale, sometimes A or F. 20% effort is definitely a fail, but so is 60%.
Excellent job with video, in my opinion, on so many levels. Started 1st grade (as a 3rd grade grader in Italy as that was the only class who had a teacher who spoke English) looking back as my Mom was a Teacher I found this beneficial in so many ways and SO many levels. My Dad was also a Prof and my playground was DePauw University before this trip. I learned this leaf but unable to connect the dots thank you!
Public schools were serving us soyburgers way back when I was a child. I honestly didn’t think that there was any beef in them at all. I loved watching this video.😊
When I went to trade school for electric, an associates degree, two year degree, 100 to 95 an A, 94 to 90 an B, 89 to 85 a C, everything else below was a failing grade, and you would have to redo the test or quiz, or lab test, if allowed, and you learn real fast not to have failing grades, I had a 3.31 GPA and had 3.75 in first term, Residential electric was the first term.........That was in 1993 to 1994.......
Great walk and talk and educating us on plants and tinctures. I agree that school is failing the kids and society. When I want to school I believe between 65 & 69 and below was an 'F'. I think 92-100 was an A. My last two years they changed the class structure and to compensate you could actually get over 100%, although on the new scale it was 0-4 except you could get a 4.5. I don't believe in experimenting on kids (medically or socially).
92 to 100 was an A
Hey.. you probably know but Zanfel works on poison ivy almost immediately, it's a must item.
I'm always scared to fall and be laying on the ground and my chickens would eat me!!! 😅 they are dinosaurs.
We have lots of those plants growing in the woods here, I’ll have to dig some up and get to tincture making. Thanks for the knowledge! YAH bless!
The children will just be like the sheep if they don't learn to be all they can be!
A was 93-100, B was 85-92, C was 75-84, D was 70-74, F was 69 or below.
When I was in high school an A was 93 and above. An F was a 69 or below. The standards were still somewhat high in the 80s.
10:38 love these videos when I can learn something new. Thank you!
Zack I live here in Florida the soon to be Malaria capitol lol, All kidding aside I looked up the remedies for Malaria in one of the books that you so graciously offer on your patreon. I found Cinchona Bark and am looking into that as a sort of tincture, Kinda risky but we need something more then just tonic water since the FDA limits the amount of Quinine made available. At this point I'll take any advise on getting in front of the ball with summer quickly approaching. Thanks for all you do brother.
I remember an especially hard college professor who graded on the curve. I was the top student on one exam, by getting 40% of the answers. Most students got C's, with a zero percent correct. 😂
The best stuff for antiparisite is the I word we can't mention since the plandemic. You know the Jor Rogan Horse Paste. Oh wait, the human form (although the paste will work) Ivermectin.
Where is a good place to get the May apple plants or seed?
LOVE the sheep!!!! 💜💙🩷
Always liked seeing mayapples bloom. Did not know about roots. My Aunt June made us a spring tonic using roots years ago. It kinda tasted like root beer.
Yeah, that is sassafras roots. Very healthy!
Bury all of that funky meat in dug out pits and fill the dirt over it, make mounds and plant pumpkins or watermelon seeds in them and keep them watered over the dry spells and you will have more pumpkins and melons than you know what to do with!
Thank you so much for sharing about the mayapples. I had them growing all over my property. I never knew they were useful for anything are the ratios of how much root you need in those herb books that you frequently mention? Or actually you said those books tell you how to use it, correct?
12:54 no, you’re right. Agree. Both my boys go to a charter school with classical education. There is a however….. it’s not conservative. It’s rigid but not conservative. My oldest graduates next week and is going into the ministry
YES! 92-100= A
I understand the disgust with the gross beef burgers but honestly, I think I would probably feed it to my chickens. ( if I had any ) It isn't like chickens live for multiple decades to experience long term effects from a short term exposure to soy? The beef part would probably really benefit them?
What a beautiful farm, the ewe and lamb stole the show...little dumb dumb's, ..loved seeing them on a mission to find the others, so cute.
Also loved learning about the roots...Is there anything God didn't think of?
Carla
Great video!
All I can say, when I see that ridiculous grading scale, is that I would have been a straight"A" student. I never studied, never cracked a book nor even tried to apply myself.. so naturally I made "B"s and "C"s. My Dad always rewarded "A"s with dollar bills but apparently that wasn't enough of an incentive for me! 😂
We have local kids do farm choirs. The homeschooled kids are more mature and easy to teach. The kids from the public schools are a challenge.
Titan Biotech produces non-gmo soybeans/ hydrolyzed soy. you can read the entire breakdown on hydrolyzed soy uses and ingredients etc on their site...just FYI
Air soft...lol!!! My boys are all grown, married with kids...and I'm still finding those air soft pellets everywhere - in fact my grandkids are collecting them in jars now. One day homeschooled kids will rule - they are getting an education but the public schools are failing miserably!
If they’re dumbed down they’re more dependent on the system and easier to control. The education system is the way it is for a reason.
Triggering the algorithm
Comments help that Algo 2
7:50 ❤🤣that’s awesome!
How do you keep your sheep from running off? How much area do they have to roam? Did you say you keep deer as livestock? I'd really love it if you'd go over what kind of animals you keep and how you keep them.
That would be a good vid. I'll try to remember to do that.
90+ was an A for us, 80-89 B etc, below 60 was F
So when I was in school a 93 was an A- and anything below 70 was an F. I am 51 years old and I went to school in New Jersey.
