I really enjoyed our morning walk!
    😃 Thank you 🙏🏼
The reason I homeschooled was because “God said” to train up your children. I felt that meant I was responsible for their learning: teaching them morals, and ethical codes; developing their character, and their life skills… to know that they were a loved child of God. Also, how to be a productive and great American citizen, etc. 1990-2006. Those were very good years and I believe if you ask my children they will also say they were their best years. They worked hard, played hard and learned well. I am very very proud of them. They are good people!!❤️ And they love Jesus. ❤️

Absolutely. I love your testimony so much. I'm a single mom who homeschools, my child is autistic and we've tried public schools, even tried charter schools, none of it works for her at all, so I refuse to put her through that. I spent many years trying to find a suitable husband because it's hard not only to single parent but to homeschool and do everything else by myself, but in the areas I lived in, the options are not acceptable. I lived in a very liberal area (the crazy kind). Eventually I received a message straight from Jesus Himself: He is there to help me parent, I am to raise my daughter to consider Jesus as a father figure, someone she can turn to when she needs to talk or can't figure out a problem. As long as I keep Jesus in my home and keep Him part of everything even homeschooling, He will be the other parent until I am able to move to an area where I can find a physical husband and father for my daughter. It probably sounds like BS to many people, but that is what I was told by Jesus. We literally cannot do anything with God's blessing or influence, and that absolutely includes learning.

Things have been outta whack for a while. I just don't think we were paying attention. We were busy taking care of our responsibilities. Small things happen everyday that tilts us toward our downfall. The biggest loss of all is integrity. If you have this one characteristic, they all follow suit. Once in a while I meet people with integrity, and it's amazing to witness. It honestly makes me have joy.

Cutest sheep and they get an A for their smart walk ;-). Yes, growing up in Brazil in the 80's, 90's the bottom of a C was 70. Below that's a fail, need to recoup/ take reinforcement classes over the Summer, before you can test again and advance to the next class/ series. B was an 80 bottom, and MB, or A was probably 95 and above. Sorry, I am so late on watching your videos as they are so meaningful and insightful. Shabbat Shalom and thanks for the invite to walk along... refreshing, as always.

Your grades were same as I remember. I was the last year, as a freshman ('73), that Mom's came in & made/served breakfast & lunch with Home Ec student volunteers. Thankfully, all of my elementary years were homemade goods, before they became poisons vs. food. My kids got fed breakfast at Home, & took their lunches & snacks. Kids since Ritalin & Prozac are not so fortunate to have parents who know better...and, indeed, Consequence is quite evident. Shout out of Blessings to the many beloved nurses in my circle who filled me in from the get-go. Thank you, Monsanto, for creating Round-up, which as a landscaper, was too good to be true...You folks were what sent me on the life-journey into how deep the BS goes. And, trust me, Kiddos here...my ropes are not long enough to hit bottom. Truth holds up to scrutiny & welcomes questions...seek it in every thing, with everything you've got. Blessings to wise Continuance.

Freaked out because I was going to have to go home and tell Mom I flunked the test. One of my new friends was like oh wow, you got a C, nice job. In MA it was 90-100 A, 80-89 B, 70-79 C, 60-69 D, 59 & below F. My failure magically turned into a decent passing grade. This was in 1979.

Great walk and talk and educating us on plants and tinctures. I agree that school is failing the kids and society. When I want to school I believe between 65 & 69 and below was an 'F'. I think 92-100 was an A. My last two years they changed the class structure and to compensate you could actually get over 100%, although on the new scale it was 0-4 except you could get a 4.5. I don't believe in experimenting on kids (medically or socially).

12:54 no, you’re right. Agree. Both my boys go to a charter school with classical education. There is a however….. it’s not conservative. It’s rigid but not conservative. My oldest graduates next week and is going into the ministry

I understand the disgust with the gross beef burgers but honestly, I think I would probably feed it to my chickens. ( if I had any ) It isn't like chickens live for multiple decades to experience long term effects from a short term exposure to soy? The beef part would probably really benefit them?
What a beautiful farm, the ewe and lamb stole the show...little dumb dumb's, ..loved seeing them on a mission to find the others, so cute.
Also loved learning about the roots...Is there anything God didn't think of?

    Great video!
All I can say, when I see that ridiculous grading scale, is that I would have been a straight"A" student. I never studied, never cracked a book nor even tried to apply myself.. so naturally I made "B"s and "C"s. My Dad always rewarded "A"s with dollar bills but apparently that wasn't enough of an incentive for me! 😂

We have local kids do farm choirs. The homeschooled kids are more mature and easy to teach. The kids from the public schools are a challenge.

Air soft...lol!!! My boys are all grown, married with kids...and I'm still finding those air soft pellets everywhere - in fact my grandkids are collecting them in jars now. One day homeschooled kids will rule - they are getting an education but the public schools are failing miserably!

If they’re dumbed down they’re more dependent on the system and easier to control. The education system is the way it is for a reason.

How do you keep your sheep from running off? How much area do they have to roam? Did you say you keep deer as livestock? I'd really love it if you'd go over what kind of animals you keep and how you keep them.

So when I was in school a 93 was an A- and anything below 70 was an F. I am 51 years old and I went to school in New Jersey.
