Thanks for covering Jinbei/Orlit. Their prices are amazing and it's hard to ignore the countless positive reviews on Adorama. Competition is great for us consumers.
Thanks for covering this Rob! I LOVE the back screen and interface. I really do hope GODOX is taking notice of the UI and the reverse tilt. Two GENIUS features. Also, is this the first non Profoto speedlight with 1/10th stop control! Love that aspect as well. The only issue with Jinbei from what I understand is trigger reliability and more than acceptable misfires.
Very cool backward tilt feature! I can't wait to see if Godox does the same thing. I had EIGHT of the ORLIT speedlites, but they weren't very reliable on the Canon 5D Mk4. They worked fine on the Canon 5D Mk3, but I couldn't deal with unreliability, even when used on-camera! Very embarrassing to have triggering problems when working with corporate clients. I gave it every chance I could then I decided it was time to part ways. Sold all my ORLIT gear (except the RT 610 and Rover RT which I'm still trying to sell) and switched to Godox/Flashpoint (V860II, AD200, AD600 Pro). Godox has been awesome so far. Just received the round head and accessory kit for the AD200 and it's so cool!
Thank you for reporting on this gear Robert, no one else seems to be covering this one. I have a set of Orlit RT610 strobes and have been looking for some smaller speelites to augment my current setup. Do you have any idea where to purchase the HD-2? I can't seem to find them available anywhere.
Thanks for the video. I use Orlit 610s and was wondering if you heard any more on the round Jinbei speedlight. It'd be great to have something small for hair or background without using a 610.
Love you Robert you are the man bro !!! I’m so excited for the round heads finally on speedlight lock mechanism so awesome soon Godox will be the industry standard they killing it now
Interested to see that round flash specs/price . Love my Orlit 610 best $450 I ever spent on lighting. Thanks Robert for covering this when no one else is. 👍🏻
Westcotts new FJ400 is not their development. It's rebranding the Jinbei HD 400 Pro, which is the new / upgraded version of what you see in this video, the Jinbei HD 400.
@@JaredRibic Curious why you switched brands? I have the rove light rt 610 and also the rt 400 as well as flashes by orlit. Love them. But full disclosure I also own a flashpoint ad360 II c and like it for my outdoor work. Love to hear your opinion. Cheers!

Seems like a really interesting flash.
Is a circular shaped head really beneficial?
To softness: no
To a more even light pattern : yes
To being compatible with native magnetic modifiers : yes

Srm whene it'll be releasing?
By December
It'll be available at uk ??
And also in india ?
Very interesting video. Wouldn't it be cool if Jinbei and Godox could talk to each other through one trigger.
Pass. That would mean the companies would have to constantly adapt their working technology to the changes one another makes. Could get messy quick.
True
Samsung nx 30 ?
Is this a flash or led light?
Flash with LED assist
I saw jinbei a few times while browsing for godox soft box and so I thought it is godox with different a name.
If I hadn't gone Godox, Jinbei would be my choice.
I was using Jinbei/ORLIT and sold everything to go Godox. I like the Godox system much better.
